Fruit comes from two parcels in the Sorano cru of Serralunga d'Alba: the Vigna Coste and the Vigna Bricco. Parussi is the most open-hearted and fruity Barolo in Massolino's collection. It has a striking immediacy and sweetness in the mid-palate. The supremely potent Rocche di Castiglione is often referred to as the first "official" cru in the history of Langa (along with Bussia di Prunotto, both of which were released with the 1961 vintage).
