Most certainly, Lis Neris is one of the best wineries from Friuli. Winery owner Alvaro Pecorari devoted much of his time to researching his vineyard sites and their varietal suitability. That he has succeeded in this in an impressive way is proven by the fact that his Lis Neris winery is now more than ever considered an important protagonist of the Friulian wine scene.

The winery's sites stretch from the picturesque valleys of the Slovenian border to the right bank of the Isonzo River. The small wine-growing area of Isonzo offers very special conditions to the vines: The dry wind bora and mild sea temperatures contribute to the optimal health and ripening of the grapes.
