Tenuta Tignanello is located in the heart of Chianti Classico on the gentle hills between the valleys of the Greve and Pesa rivers and comprises 319 hectares of land, of which around 130 are planted with vines. The estate's vineyards include two jewels: Tignanello and Solaia, which are located on the same hill, on calcareous and schistose marl soils of marine origin from the Pliocene, and which benefit from warm days and fresh nights during the growing season. Two wines are produced from these vineyards, which many years ago had the potential to become the starting point of the Italian wine renaissance. Nothing has changed to this day.

Illuminati's Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riparosso has a sweet scent of violets and lavender, followed by crushed blackberries and chalk dust. It washes over the palate with soft textures and ripe wild berries, contrasted towards the end by sour citrus fruits. It finishes perfumed and with admirable length, leaving a layer of dusty tannins that tug at the cheeks. Very Italian - very well made. SUPERIORE.DE

Typical Vitiano: its colour is deep ruby red and aromas of cherries and berries fill the nose. The generous flavour is beautifully clear, just as we know it, with wonderfully fresh cherry tones with an aromatic vanilla note in the foreground. Negroamaro "F" stands for Falò (bonfire). And that's what it is! Black-red colour, surprising intensity of aromatic richness, ripe black berries, cherry jam, thyme, dark chocolate and cocoa. Sessantanni (60 years old) comes from vines at least as old and impresses with a deep garnet red colour and visibly high concentration. The bouquet is reminiscent of a rum pot, with beautiful primary and secondary aromas of black fruit and woody spice. The palate is dense, smooth, jammy and gently tannic. The world-famous Valpolicella Superiore from Zenato, produced using the Ripasso method, is a rich wine with the best value. It is peppery, with earthy tones and gravel giving way to black cherries and savoury herbs. It reveals deep, silky textures balanced by vibrant acids, while ripe red and black fruits resonate under a hint of lavender. Dreamlike Barbera, dedicated to the last work (La Luna e i Falo = Young Moon) by the writer Cesare Pavese. This wine symbolises the connection to the earth and to one's own origins. Dark purple in colour. Complex aromas of dark red, plump, juicy cherries, fine spices, plums and black forest berries on the nose. Polished, dense and very fruity on the palate.
