The hills around Orvieto have always been recognised as an area with amazing potential for quality white wines. The Verdeluce is no exception. This complex cuvée combines the elegance of Pinot bianco with the juicy structure of the Sémillon grape and the freshness of Grechetto. Vibrant light yellow colour. La Grola is the eponymous, historic vineyard where Corvina, the indigenous grape of Valpolicella, is believed to have originated. The replanting of the vineyard by Giovanni Allegrini triggered an agronomic revolution and laid the foundations for the success of this wine-growing region, which today stands for convincing, great red wines from the north-east of Italy.

Ferentano is a pure white wine made from the rare, indigenous Roscetto vine, which has a very thick skin. The grapes are therefore frozen after the harvest to make it easier to break the skins during pressing and to ensure that only the fruit passes through during pressing.

Bright yellow in colour, with a slightly sweet aroma of citrus fruits, melon and Golden Delicious. Rich and fruity on the palate, with a powerful structure and hints of grapefruit, honeydew melon and apricot jam. The first year of production of the single-varietal Merlot Clos Roareti dates back to 2004. The grapes are harvested from the 2 hectare historic Rovereti vineyard in Negrar. In this 100-year-old vineyard, which is surrounded by equally old walls, Merlot has been cultivated since the 1990s and is perfectly adapted to the climate and the red clay soil. The palate is rich and full-bodied with complex and very aromatic notes. Maturation in oak barrels gives this wine its special flavour and a certain opulence. SUPERIORE.DE

This mineral and concentrated wine emphasises the beauty of the Collio region. Ponca, the local name for the soil in the Collio, is a calcareous clay and sandstone conglomerate, which this wine shows in abundance. The first note of Ponca leads to ripe apples and white flowers. Schiopetto's Friulano is youthfully unobtrusive with a pretty bouquet that blends lemon peel with mint and hints of crushed rock. The grapes for the Villa Antinori Riserva come from four different municipalities in Chianti Classico: San Casciano, Gaiole, Castellina and Greve. The current edition is multi-layered with a wonderful bouquet of dark fruit, gravel and beautiful spices. On the palate, the wine has a velvety attack that is savoury, complex and persistent, with spicy notes of sweet tobacco and dark chocolate.
