The country dance (controdanza) is a typical dance in which man and woman face each other and unite in graceful movements - depending on their gender, the dancers interpret the music in their own way. This wine is exactly the same: Nero d'Aola and Merlot - opposites attract and, with the right sensitivity, can harmonise and contrast wonderfully.

Strong purple colour. Mulberry and plum contrast with incense and balsamic notes. The grapes all come from chalky soils, which in turn creates a bridge and makes this young wine balanced and harmonious. Concentrated ruby red with garnet-coloured reflections. The wood contributes very slight hints of roasted coffee to the predominantly black cherry and berry aroma. The single-varietal Pandolfo matures for 9 months, 70% in steel tanks and 30% in Slovenian oak barrels, before maturing for at least 3 months in the bottle. The result is a dark ruby red colour in the glass. On the nose, it seduces with an aromatic bouquet reminiscent of cherries, liquorice, raspberries and spices. Karmis, an animating white wine based on Vernaccia, comes from the lower Tirso Valley in the area between Cabras and Baratili - where the climate is typically Mediterranean with mild winters, little rain and very hot, breezy summers.
