The Friulian wine landscape is known for its first-class white wines. The Borgo del Tiglio winery is located in Brazzano di Cormòns, surrounded by the picturesque hills of the Collio. Nicola Manferrari's eight hectares of vineyards comprise three sites: Ca' delle Vallade, Brazzano and Ruttars. The typical grape varieties Friulano, Malvasia, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Riesling, Merlot and some Cabernet are cultivated here sustainably.
Nicola Manferrari has perfected his craft over the last four decades and is considered the creator of Friuli's greatest white wines. What is less well known is that he has also perfected Merlot, which first caused a sensation in 1985 as Rosso della Centa.
Antonio Galloni is not the only one who thinks the winery is exceptional. We too have been silent fans and connoisseurs of the wines for years and are looking forward to this new addition, which adds another crown to our hand-picked, high-quality Friuli range. We are sure that you too will find it worth taking a closer look at the exciting history of the Borgo del Tiglio winery and its outstanding collection. SUPERIORE.DE
