The honey comes from the Terre Nere winery's own production from a chestnut forest on Mount Etna at an altitude of up to 1,200 metres. Sulla is a herbaceous plant that is typical of the Mediterranean region and is widespread in Abruzzo, Molise, Calabria and Sicily. It comes from the legume family and its honey has a very light colour, which clearly distinguishes it from darker varieties such as Melata or Castagno.
