A land, a grappa - La Trentina is a mild (=morbida) grappa made from the typical grapes of Trentino. This was distilled exclusively from the marc of white grape varieties and matured for about 6 months in the barriques in which the Diciotto Lune had previously matured. Delicately amber in colour, mild and very persistent fragrance, intense on the palate. SUPERIORE.DE

Natural distillate matured in barriques and small wooden barrels from selected soft vintage marc from Friuli. Distillation with separation of the first and last run in exclusive copper steam stills.

Soft, elegant and very delicate grappa obtained from two marcs of white Trentino grapes, Chardonnay and Müller-Thurgau. Chardonnay is a grape variety grown in the suitable areas of Vallagarina (lower Trentino) at altitudes between 200 and 500 metres above sea level. Müller-Thurgau is grown on the Brentonico plateau, in some areas of the high hills of Vallagarina and in Val di Cembra. Intensely aromatic grappa obtained from two marcs of white Trentino grapes, Gewürztraminer and Muscatel. The Muskateller comes from sunny soils of Vallagarina, mainly in the municipalities of Calliano and Besenello. Gewürztraminer, a grape variety native to South Tyrol, is grown in this region between 300 and 500 metres above sea level. "Forte" is a powerful grappa obtained from the grapes of two native red grape varieties of Trentino, Teroldego and Marzemino. The Teroldego marc comes from grapes grown in the Piana Rotaliana, an area dedicated to the production of this native variety. The marc of Marzemino comes from grapes grown in the hilly and partially hilly areas of Vallagarina (lower Trentino), on the right bank of the Adige, in the municipalities of Nomi, Mori and Isera, an excellent location for this typical grape variety. The expert union of these two varieties produces a powerful grappa with a pronounced aroma and rich structure, markedly persistent, robust and full-bodied. SUPERIORE.DE

The basis for the flavoured grappa liqueur is Stravecchia Diciotto Lune, made from a selection of the best marcs from Trentino, aged for at least 18 (diciotto) months in small barrels of fine wood. It has very delicate aromas and a round, soft taste. And when roasted coffee beans are added for flavouring, they give this Stravecchia a delicate aroma reminiscent of the old Italian custom of correcting the coffee with a sip of grappa. SUPERIORE.DE

For the production of Badia a Coltibuono Grappa Riserva, our own Sangiovese marcs are distilled by hand at low temperature with indirect steam after a gentle pressing. This process preserves the aromas of the fresh marcs in the grappa. The grappa is produced at the Nannoni distillery in Paganico, where many of Italy's best wine producers have their grappa distilled.
