The brilliantly clear Grappa Cru Monovitigno Pignolo was produced in very limited quantities and bottled in 150 numbered decanters with a vintage label, exclusively available only at SUPERIORE.DE It is a single-varietal grappa made from marc of the rare Pignolo grape from the Nonino vineyard in Buttrio in Friuli. It is rich, elegant and velvety smooth with a pronounced wild berry flavour.

With "Cru Monovitigno Pignolo", the Noninos are taking part in the "Omaggio a Venezia" project, an initiative involving prestigious Italian brand producers such as Alessi, Loro Piana, Missoni, Tod's, Trussardi and others. "Omaggio a Venezia" aims to help the city fathers of Venice to preserve the artistic and architectural heritage, this unique and unmistakable style of Venice.

Part of the proceeds from the sale will be given to the city of Venice for the restoration of the 17th century "Camerino degli Stucchi" in the Ca'Rezzonico Museum. SUPERIORE.DE

Amber-coloured grappa made from the marc of selected grapes from Friuli with an ageing period of eight years in small barrels of various woods. ÙE Merlot Gran Riserva matures sealed and supervised by the Italian Customs and Monopolies Authority for over 12 years in sherry casks from Jerez de la Frontera in the company's cellars.

Natural amber colour with a golden sheen. Very elegant on the nose with sweet scents of marzipan, sultanas, iris, violets and candied fruits, which are echoed in the lingering taste and with balsamic notes.

Aristocratic! The whole world regards Picolit as "la Regina delle Grappe" due to its character, harmony and the emotions it evokes with every sip. ÙE La Riserva dei Cent'anni is a blend of grape distillates from different grape varieties aged for over fourteen years in barriques. The aroma is soft, lively and full-bodied with a slight hint of spices (saffron, cinnamon, curry, nutmeg) and hints of dried fruit. Warm, soft, round, persistent and velvety on the palate.

This unique Monovitigno Riserva matured for 18 years in barrique no. 419 made of Nevers oak. Intense amber colour, intense aroma of bitter almonds and sultanas. Fruity, full and round in the mouth, the olfactory impressions are confirmed.

The Tocai grapes from the Collio Friulano were harvested in 1988. From 9 August 1989 to 25 October 2007, ÙE Cru Tocai Collio matured in the cellars of the Noninos. The result was 453 Liters this elegant distillate, which was bottled by hand in 647 mouth-blown bottles. The fill level may vary, as each bottle is unique.

The Cabernet grapes from the Collio Friulano were harvested in 1997. Afterwards, ÙE Cru Cabernet Friuli matured in the cellars of the Noninos. The result was 265 Liters this elegant distillate, which was bottled by hand in 378 spherical bottles. The closure is refined with 24k gold. The fill level can vary, as each bottle is unique. Nonino's great Grappa Picolit Gran Riserva matures sealed and supervised by the Italian customs and monopoly authority for 10 years in former Sauternes barriques in the distillery's maturation cellars.

Rare, elegant and precious. The wood of the barrels preloaded with Sauternes forms a harmonious whole with the notes of the Picolit grape, which smell of honey, spices, chocolate and candied fruits and convey a feeling of purity. Seductive, flavourful notes on the final.

Since 1984, the Noninos have been bringing their ÙE grape distillate Cru Monovitigno Picolit to the market in a limited edition and a special decanter. An extremely exclusive product. You will only find it in the world's most famous restaurants and wine bars (New York: San Domenico, Los Angeles: "Valentino" di Piero Selvaggio, Paris: "Alain Ducasse", Montecarlo: Hotel de Paris, Florence: Enoteca Pinchiorri).

Each decanter for "La Collezione 2008" - "L'Athanor Cosmic Fornace" was made by hand. Five glass artists are involved in the production of a single bottle. The designer is Luca Cendali and the glass art manufacturer is none other than Venini in Murano. Using the so-called ballotone technique and silver leaf, a design object was created that symbolises the "Athanor", the philosophical furnace for producing the philosopher's stone - or "The Cosmic Furnace", the guardian of the immortal flame. The valuable decanter in three colour variations (amber, red and aquamarine) is supplied in a box made of fine walnut wood.

The ÙE distillate made from Picolit grapes from the 2007 harvest is a visual sensation in itself: crystal clear and enchantingly charming. The nose experiences pure elegance with the scent of wildflower honey, acacia blossom and notes of fine figs. The olfactory impressions are confirmed on the palate, exquisite and persistent.

The Nonino Collezione has been a favourite collector's item for years, regularly fetching top prices at auctions at Christie's in London. SUPERIORE.DE
