“L’Alberello” Rosso Toscana IGT 2021 (BIO)
L'Alberello is a beautiful Rosso made primarily from Cabernet. The wine comes from a two-hectare plot planted entirely with long rows of Alberello vines planted at an altitude of 30 metres above sea level on predominantly clayey soils. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and the wine matures for 18 months in barriques. Starts fresh and vehement with warm, dark fruit flavours, then opens up further with a bouquet of herbs, coffee and a pinch of pepper. Remarkably polished and juicy on the palate, everything is in balance, silky and very charismatic on the long finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"Previously a Bolgheri Superiore, now a Toscana IGT, the timeless style has not changed: A cosy bouquet of chocolate, herbs and undergrowth, including pepper; juicy in the mouth, robust tannins, the acidity perfectly integrated, beautiful smoothness and polish, elegant final. Convincing." Vinum
"Dark ruby red with purple reflections. Dense, spicy bouquet of blackcurrant, tomato leaf and red pepper, backed by precious wood and a touch of graphite. Very juicy and with ripe fruit in the centre, very present on the palate, with firm tannins and a lingering, fruit-driven finish." Falstaff
"This red wine is concentrated but overall elegant, with flavours of blackcurrant, black cherry, cedar, herbs and iron accompanied by lively acidity. Assertive, dusty tannins line the long finish." Wine Spectator
"The 2021 Bolgheri Superiore L’Alberello is deep and beautifully layered in the glass. Dark-toned fruit, scorched earth, tobacco, cedar and spice all run through this powerhouse Bolgheri red. The 2021 can be enjoyed with minimal cellaring, but a few years in bottle should help soften the formidable tannins. This is impressive juice." Vinous
"A precise and powerful young red wine with flavours of blackcurrant, blackberry, sandalwood and lavender leading to an extremely pure and polished palate that is quite endless on the finish. Lots of energy here." James Suckling

“Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia” Bolgheri DOC 2022
Beguiling aroma of sweet, dark berries with a hint of cassis, cedar wood and antique leather. Very balanced on the palate, beautifully viscous with an elegant melt. Fine-meshed tannins, restrained mineral tones and wonderfully polished fruit accompany a remarkable finish. For all its elegance, it shows pressure and power and, with the right dose of acidity, promises a long life and almost reaches the level of its famous big brother. SUPERIORE.DE
"Despite the sunny character of the vintage, Le Serre Nuove dell'Ornellaia 2022 is an expression of great elegance and freshness. The wine has a purple-red colour of great intensity and the nose exudes aromas of ripe black fruit, spices and lightly toasted wood. On the palate, it opens with a juicy, full-bodied attack and progresses on a rich tannin structure with beautiful density. The finish is soft and very long-lasting. Le Serre Nuove dell'Ornellaia is already a pleasure to drink. It will reach its perfect maturity in ten years." Marco Balsimelli, Direktor
"Rich, impenetrable, dark shiny ruby colour. Fine bouquet, subtle notes of blackcurrant, followed by mocha and cocoa. Impressive and delicate on the palate, elegant and expansive, well-integrated wood, finely meshed tannins, animating to drink, retronasal herbal spice and a long-lasting finish with a fine tannin structure." Falstaff
"A smooth red, this evokes cedar, plum, black currant, blackberry, vanilla and resin aromas and flavors. Broad and dense, with accents of leather, earth and tobacco on the long finish." Wine Spectator
"The brightness and purity of fruit is so beautiful here, showing flowers and currants. Very aromatic. Lots of finesse and focus on the medium-bodied palate with super-fine tannins and a lovely finish. Lively. Why wait on this?" James Suckling

"Impenetrable ruby red with violet reflections. Pickled plum and amarena on the nose, followed by mocha, clove and tobacco. Balanced on the palate with velvety tannins and lively flavour, long-lasting." Falstaff
"A fresh, expressive red that also shows tension and adds energy to its blackcurrant, cherry, liquorice and cedar flavours. Graphite and savoury accents add detail on the long, tightly wound finish." Wine Spectator
"Very aromatic, with flavours of raspberries, orange peel and flowers. Beautiful transparency. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and a crisp finish. Drinkable now, but better from 2026." James Suckling

“Bell’Aja” Rosso Bolgheri Superiore DOC 2021
40 years after acquiring the Montalcino branch Campogiovanni, the Tuscan flagship winery San Felice, which belongs to the Allianz insurance group, has decided on a further expansion called Bell'Aja. In the Bolgheri locality of Le Sondraie, 6 hectares of vineyards with clayey-sandy soils were selected, where mainly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot were planted over 12 years ago. There are only two wines from this new Bell'Aja appellation, Bolgheri Rosso and Bolgheri Rosso Superiore.
Rich ruby-garnet colour with a rusty-brown rim. Opens on the nose with delicate, ripe plums, dried blackberries, some cassis, then dark chocolate. Spans a wide arc on the palate with plenty of juice and volume, carried by fine, ripe tannins. Powerful as it progresses, with notes of bitter almond on the long finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"Multifaceted perfume of cherries, eucalyptus and pepper, also fine macchia spice; polished in the mouth, the acidity lively and in harmony with the tannins, the final ripe and plummy with balsamic components." Vinum
"Bright, elegant ruby red colour. Hints of sealing wax on the nose at the beginning, then opens up to rich berry fruit, strawberry jam, blackcurrant, a hint of precious wood. Taut on the palate, with earthy tannins and clear fruit, rich in structure and somewhat alcoholic on the finish, goes well with savoury dishes." Falstaff
"Bright and fresh nose with dark cherries, blackberries and hints of chocolate, liquorice and wet stones. Also some black olives. Medium to full body with a juicy, racy mid-palate and lively acidity. Ripe and polished tannins and a lingering aftertaste. An exciting and well-formed red wine." James Suckling
"Lush and supple in texture, but with lively acidity and finely crafted tannins, this red wine displays aromas and flavours of blackcurrant, plum, vanilla, coffee, iron and wild herbs. Powerful yet graceful, energetic and long, with a complex aftertaste that reflects fruit, mineral and oak elements." Wine Spectator
"This Superiore has a rich, concentrated and dark character, full of menthol, spiced plum, astringent chocolaty tannins, powerful cassis and a savoury undertone. Streaks of red fruit and ferrous intrigue on the mid-palate lighten the mood and finish on an herbal, minty note, but it really needs more time to develop." Decanter

“Poggio Valente 25 anni” Rosso Toscana IGT 2021 · MAGNUM
Poggio Valente comes from a single vineyard of the same name at an altitude of around 300 metres. Opulent floral and small-fruited Sangiovese nose with optimally nuanced hints of tobacco, cedar and mint. Precise on the palate with plenty of pressure and power, then towards the end the furious resolution of all the well-dosed components in a fine, silky texture and an unforgettable, long final. SUPERIORE.DE
"Wonderfully clear, red-fruity bouquet with cherries, wild berries and wonderful floral (lavender, roses) and spicy notes. Still very delicate, but juicy and elegant as well as precisely woven with a lively style, lives from the red berry fruit, the fine tannin riff and the wonderfully ethereal freshness with wonderful liquorice notes on the final." Weinwisser
"Brilliant, medium ruby colour with reflections. Initially delicate and subtle on the nose, with a little oxygen the wine opens up with aromas of black cherries and cedar wood. Elegant fruity sweetness on the palate, with fine tannins and a beautiful tension to the final." Falstaff
"Pure Sangiovese from the coast, also animating in this vintage: notes of forest fruits, blackberries, pepper and violets in the multi-faceted bouquet; precise construction with perfectly integrated, well-built tannins and vivid acidity, combining polish and length." Vinum
"The 2021 is ripe and silky, showing an intensity of soft, creamy red fruit with a lovely mineral note. Pure, balanced and precise, it is not quite as vertical as some of its predecessors, but instead has an appealing roundness." Decanter
"Ripe flavours of plum, black cherry and blackberry accentuate this dense red wine, whose lively structure conveys an energetic feel. Notes of earth, iron, eucalyptus and spice add complexity on the finish, with an aftertaste of fruit, wild undergrowth and spice." Wine Spectator
"This pure Sangiovese wine is celebrating its 25th anniversary. I was told that it is made according to a Burgundian model. The Fattoria le Pupille 2021 Poggio Valente offers good fruit concentration, freshness and an open character. It has a lot of character of red fruits, iris, blue flowers and earth, and the tannins are present, albeit powdery." Wine Advocate
"The 2021 Poggio Valente is fabulous. I can’t remember tasting a Poggio Valente with this much finesse. Rose petal, spice and red cherry fruit open in an effusive bouquet that is immediately appealing. Silky, medium in body and gracious, with finesse to burn, the 2021 shows what is possible within the appellation. I love its total class." Vinous
"Aromas of cherries, chocolate and walnuts. Some undertones of lavender and rose petals. Medium-bodied, with superfine tannins and notes of chocolate and vanilla. Give it time to open up." James Suckling

“Magari” Rosso Bolgheri DOC 2022
Magari is a dark, rich and voluptuous wine that faithfully reflects the signature of Gaja in Bolgheri. On the palate, plump and supple fruit, dark berries and spices mingle with seamless intensity. The wine offers firm grip and long-lasting power on the finish. There is nothing not to love here. SUPERIORE.DE
"Seductive, dark berry aromas, also notes of raspberries and herbs; juicy in the mouth, lively acidity, flavours of red berries, leather and tobacco in the final." Vinum
"Intense, rich ruby red colour. Great precision on the nose, cranberries, ripe raspberries, a fine hint of black bread crust, precious wood, light fumé. Polished on the palate, with compact tannins and juicy fruit, very precise, always comes back juicy, slightly alcoholic finish with good length." Falstaff
"The 2022 Magari is plump, juicy and very easy to like. Soft, silky contours wrap around a core of red-toned fruit, cedar, sweet spice and flowers. This easygoing Maremma red is best enjoyed over the next few years. I find it a bit light, especially in the mid-palate, but its balance is impeccable." Vinous
"Supple in texture and with blackcurrant and black cherry fruit, this red is polished and approachable. Light herbal, graphite and tobacco accents add detail as this wine cruises to a firm finish." Wine Spectator
"The aromas of redcurrants, cherries and olive leaves merge into a medium body with very fine, flattering tannins and a long, juicy finish. Slightly crisp and chewy. Very well made and already delicious now, but even better in a few years." James Suckling

“Argentiera” Bolgheri Superiore DOC 2021
Full-bodied, noble cuvée from the winery of the same name: aromas of red fruits, a light hint of roasted coffee, juniper, pepper and animal notes, an excellent tannin structure and a beautiful acidity give the "Bordeaux from Bolgheri" its exceptional independence and great elegance. SUPERIORE.DE
"The grapes come from the estate's highest vineyards. Elegant bouquet with spicy and ethereal-balsamic notes, paired with ripe dark berry fruit and fine tobacco notes. Extremely juicy and nuanced on the palate, carried by a mineral-spicy vein, elegant with a silky texture, the most elegant version of this wine to date." Weinwisser
"Outstanding blend of Cabernet and Merlot with a nose of blueberry nougat, also liquorice; perfectly balanced in the mouth, beautiful progression, flattering nuances of blackberry confit, herbs and vanilla on the lingering finish." Vinum
"Sparkling ruby colour with a dark core. Opens with pronounced spicy notes of macchia bushes, cardamom, then lots of dark berry fruit and tobacco. Round and polished in attack and finish, precisely crafted, fine-meshed tannins carry the wine, firm pressure on the final." Falstaff
"This 2021 is a big wine, packed with textural mass and powerful, sticky black fruits with some sous bois and mint flavours. The ample tannins are well rounded and the overall impression is that this is a quality wine that is still very youthful and needs time to blossom." Decanter
"A wonderfully fresh young wine with raspberries, blackcurrants, violets and lavender. Minerality. More blue fruits than in the past. Very racy and fine with a medium to full body and flavours of blue fruits such as raspberry and blueberry. The tannins show beautiful harmony and precision. Vertical with energy." James Suckling

Piastraia fully lives up to the classic image of a great and delicate Bolgheri Rosso Superiore. Made from Cabernet Sauvignon and smaller portions of Merlot and Sangiovese, it fills the glass with its intense aroma of fruit and a hint of leather flavours. The flavour is powerful, concentrated and pure. SUPERIORE.DE
"Promising bouquet of blueberries and cherries, also sandalwood, liquorice and flowers; the tannins are powdery, the acidity skilfully integrated, combines race, juiciness and a lot of melting and at the same time not at all pretentious, but very drinkable." Vinum
"Dark and full ruby colour. Open, elegant bouquet of blackberry, underlaid with spicy notes of liquorice, leather and undergrowth. Powerful on the palate, round, juicy and easy to drink. The tannins are well integrated, retronasal black cherry and chocolate, long final." Falstaff
"A firm and compact red wine that shows walnuts, dried herbs, loam, black fruit and cedar on the nose. It is full-bodied, polished and compact, with firm but fine-grained tannins. Roasted walnut notes on the long finish." James Suckling
"The 2021 Piastraia is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese. It's a great example of where the house style is heading under the direction of Giacomo Satta. Syrah is gone from the blend, and yet the wine offers plenty of textural depth and energy. Dark red cherry, spice, new leather, rose petal and dried flowers open gradually in the glass. This is beautifully done." Vinous
"The core flavours of blackcurrant, black cherry and pomegranate are overlaid with notes of mint, violet, iron and toasted oak. This red wine is dense and rich, with a matrix of polished tannins in support. The balance and finish are outstanding." Wine Spectator

“Saffredi” Rosso Toscana IGT 2021
Elisabetta Geppetti's Saffredi is one of Italy's great red wines every year, full of elegance! Dark, polished ruby red colour with purple-violet edges. The explosive aroma of blackcurrants, blackberries, plums, violets and oak spices is accompanied by fascinating spicy, ethereal and wonderfully floral accents with earthy tobacco notes. Dense and velvety on the palate, framed by firm tannins and a juicy freshness that leads the wine full of energy into an endless finish. The flavour profile, which is very typical of Saffredi, is wonderfully balanced, yet multi-layered and very focused with its spiciness. Saffredi 2021 is a genuine and multi-dimensional beauty that should mature for a few more years. SUPERIORE.DE
"Complex, elegant bouquet with fine concentration and precisely contoured fruit body, a basket of blue berries and ripe red cherries, plus a floral backdrop, violets, Mediterranean herbs and maquis as well as undergrowth. Polished, clear and radiant on the palate, juicy and tightly woven with velvety, super-fine tannins, a radiant and elegant Saffredi." Weinwisser
"Spicy-berry perfume, cassis, lots of dark fruit flavours, also nuances of black pepper; the attack is compact, the tannins fine-grained, carried by a soft acidity, finishes long and multi-faceted. Also very successful in this vintage." Vinum
"Dark ruby red core with purple nuances. Blackcurrant and mulberry on the nose, on damp earth, dark chocolate and alabaster. Dense on the palate, with tightly woven tannins, precise fear, comes in many layers, powerful, but with great finesse and incredibly long." Falstaff
"The Fattoria le Pupille 2021 Saffredi offers a seamless integration of dark fruit flavours that segue directly into spice, Tuscan cigar and earthy orris root. This vintage is compact and firm, especially in terms of mouthfeel, and there are graceful floral tones to close." Wine Advocate
"This pure, intense red wine displays aromas and flavours of blackcurrants, blackberries, blueberries and violets, underlined by graphite and wild herbs. Very tightly wound, even racy, with invigorating acidity and refined tannins, this noble red wine leans more towards the elegant side, with great harmony and length." Wine Spectator
"The 2021 Saffredi is one of the most vivid, profoundly beautiful wines I have ever tasted from Elisabetta Geppetti. Dark, layered and resonant, the 2021 offers tons of depth and yet remains wonderfully light on its feet. There is a level of finesse here I have never seen before in Saffredi. Blackberry, espresso, lavender, new leather and incense build over time, but it is the wine’s total sense of harmony that leaves me speechless. The 2021 is not a powerhouse—not an obvious wine. For those who can give this time in the glass, it’s a total stunner." Vinous
"Fascinating aromas of sandalwood, lavender, sage and blackcurrant. Mint and spearmint. Pencil shavings. Also light coffee bean. Medium to full body with ultra-fine tannins. Lasts for minutes. Already so approachable now, but it will age beautifully. Best after 2026 and beyond." James Suckling
"The symbolic wine of the house, the first to put the winery and the region "on the map". Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, nose of small black fruits, notes of laurel, mint and Mediterranean herbs, taut and dense drink, with salty tannins, closes with a fruity and oily return." Luca Gardini

Limitation of 6 articles per customer“Grattamacco” Rosso Bolgheri Superiore DOC 2021 (BIO)
Grattamacco is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese, the latter grape variety certainly contributing to the fresh style of this wine. However, the overall picture is only complete when you realise that the vineyards used for this blend are among the best in the appellation. The Grattamacco Bolgheri Rosso Superiore is characterised by its typical aromas of leaves and Mediterranean forest, with subtle flavours of kiwi peel, cassis, paprika and chocolate. Velvety, youthful and firm on the attack, less light than the Alberello, but more tightly woven and of great elegance. Its length is astonishing, great potential! SUPERIORE.DE
"Stunning berry aromas, facets of dried flowers, pepper and Mediterranean scrub; polished structure with powdery tannins, the accentuated acidity provides youthfulness in the background, then lots of charm and great length on notes of plums, Mediterranean flora and spices." Vinum
"Bright ruby red colour. Expressive, sweet-fruity bouquet of cassis and blackberry, with notes of ebony, tobacco leaf, cocoa and fumé, complex. Spreads across the palate like a silk scarf, with precise fruit and fine-grained tannins, juicy and with gentle pressure into the long finish." Falstaff
"Medium to dark crimson colour. Very complete and with slightly less obvious tannins than the 2016. Already very approachable and well balanced with a chalky texture on the finish. Really charming with a light inkiness. Long and fresh." Jancis Robinson
"A bold, sweeping wine, the 2021 Grattamacco is pretty impressive. Readers should expect a potent, extroverted red with tons of Bolgheri opulence. There’s plenty of supporting structure too, but at this stage it’s the wine’s intense, ripe profile that carries the day. A blast of blackberry, scorched earth, new leather, licorice and incense saturates the palate on the long, sustained finish." Vinous
"Blueberry, blackcurrant and pomegranate flavours are accentuated by oak spice, graphite and rosemary notes in this fresh, long red wine. Taut and lively, with excellent balance and a fine-grained tannin band on the finish." Wine Spectator
"The result in 2021 is magnificent, with the scent of blackberries and a dense, savoury palate with black and blue berries, silky tannins and sous bois complexity. The wonderful juicy softness of the fruit is enlivened by minty-fresh acidity, a savoury kick and a tasty, almost ferrous finish." Decanter
"This is a different level, with blackcurrants, blueberries and Mediterranean herbs such as rosemary and sage. Also tobacco and coffee beans. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and a lingering finish. Sophisticated and thought-provoking. A new level of quality with this wine." James Suckling

“L’Alberello” Rosso Toscana IGT 2021 (BIO) · MAGNUM in OWC
"A precise and powerful young red with flavours of blackcurrant, blackberry, sandalwood and lavender, leading to an extremely pure and polished palate that is quite endless on the finish. Lots of energy here." James Suckling

“Guidalberto” Toscana IGT 2022 · MAGNUM
Since Guidalberto has been vinified from its own grapes, most of which also grow in the Sassicaia DOC monopoly position, San Guido's "second wine" has grown beyond itself. Spicy, earthy bouquet with hints of tobacco, clove and lavender, dense and juicy on the palate with fresh red and black berry fruit. The tannins are well balanced and the finish is complex with a majestic elegance that will become even more refined with years of ageing in the bottle. SUPERIORE.DE
"The Guidalberto is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and has its own vines, some of which are inside and some outside the Sassicaia DOC. A very subtle wine with ripe, charming fruit and a velvety texture. It is more elegant and refined than before." Weinwisser
"Gently shining ruby red colour. Multi-layered bouquet, opens on ripe wild berries, redcurrant, notes of juniper, cedar and black pepper, a touch of lilac. Silky attack, precise fruit on very well-integrated, fine tannins, elegant and with gentle pressure in the long final." Falstaff
"The 2022 is full of aromas of herbs and sea breeze amid bright, tangy berries. In the mouth, it is savoury and precise, with a juiciness to the concentrated core of plums and black berries and a gracefulness to the tannin and acidity structures that weave through it. Juicy and incredibly flavoursome, with a wonderfully ripe red berry finish, this wine really stands on its own two feet." Decanter
"Lots of mint with sage and fresh rosemary to go with the redcurrants and oranges on the nose, as well as some ripe raspberries. The palate is very refined with creamy and crisp tannins that run the length of the wine. It shows a crisp and energetic personality. It should be given another year or two to develop, but it is already very good for the vintage." James Suckling
"The Guidalberto 2022 gives you a good taste of the same DNA that gives us one of Italy's greatest wines, Sassicaia, but it is offered here in a more immediate style. This warm vintage opens with a medium-dark concentration and very powerful aromas that immediately remind you of blackberries and blackcurrants lying in the sun at the farmers' market. The wine shows a soft and gentle side with a nice level of elegance conveyed by the freshness of the fruit and the slight oak spice that is noticeable here, but with grace." Wine Advocate
"This red wine is elegant, despite its firm structure and dense tannins. Flavours of black cherry, blackcurrant, plum, tobacco, iron and rosemary hold court, while all components are balanced. The finish is long, with a salty flavour." Wine Spectator

“Guidalberto” Toscana IGT 2022 · MAGNUM in OWC
Since Guidalberto has been vinified from its own grapes, most of which also grow in the Sassicaia DOC monopoly position, San Guido's "second wine" has grown beyond itself. Spicy, earthy bouquet with hints of tobacco, clove and lavender, dense and juicy on the palate with fresh red and black berry fruit. The tannins are well balanced and the finish is complex with a majestic elegance that will become even more refined with years of ageing in the bottle. SUPERIORE.DE

Limitation of 1 articles per customer“Guado al Tasso” Bolgheri Superiore DOC 2021
Guado al Tasso presents itself with a warm-toned bouquet and an abundance of fruit that is just as convincing as its harmonious structure. Deep, dark, rich ruby-purple colour. Very clear and intense nose, with aromas of blackberries, cassis and dark cherries, underpinned by fine, spicy notes with hints of white pepper and leather. Very juicy on the attack and on the palate, with plenty of sweet flavour, elegant tannins and a very long finish. A finesse-rich red that offers maximum drinking pleasure and great ageing potential. SUPERIORE.DE
"Elegant, dense bouquet with the intensity and flavour of a coastal Cabernet: dark berries, clearly blueberries, ripe plums, dark cherries, cedar and tobacco. Extremely juicy in the mouth with dark berry fruit, very precise with good definition, remains elegant throughout, without rough edges, with elegant, polished tannins, balanced and harmonious. Already fun to drink." Weinwisser
"After a little aeration, beguiling aromas of black cherries, undergrowth and hot stone; the attack with vigour, then a lot of polish, the tannins still youthful, but with a lot of potential, the final balanced and long. Should mature." Vinum
"Deep dark, rich ruby colour with a black core. Concentrated and profound nose, aromas of blackberries, plums and blackcurrants, with a hint of tar and tobacco. Polished and extremely elegant on the palate, finely woven tannins in many layers, firm bite on the final." Falstaff
"This wine is a real forward mover, with a determined mouthfeel that coats the palate thanks to plummy fruits, baked blackberries and sweet spices. The wine gracefully adds a much-needed minerality that enhances the sense of freshness. Even some mint enlivens the mouthfeel." Wine Advocate
"There's a lovely coolness here, with black and blue fruits mingling with strong balsam and menthol, undergrowth and damp earth. Smooth and shiny, vertical and firm, it's still very tightly wound and demands time in the bottle. The bright acidity is penetrating, and ripe wild berries show on the finish. So good." Decanter
"This wine is really well made, with ultra-fine tannins that spread across the palate. It is medium-bodied with a balanced character of redcurrants, dark chocolate and hazelnuts. It is very long and persistent, with marvellous refinement and unctuousness on the finish. Very well made." James Suckling
"The pedigree and purity of this red wine are immediately evident in its aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, pomegranate, violet and wild herbs. Saturated with red and black fruits and with liquorice and mineral elements, it is all about finesse and harmony. The long finish is characterised by notes of fruit, minerals, cedar wood, liquorice and spices." Wine Spectator
"The 2021 Bolgheri Superiore Guado al Tasso is a very beautiful wine, but also quite a departure from the style that made it famous years ago. harvestwill find a particularly polished Guado al Tasso, a wine that emphasises finesse rather than power. Silky tannins envelop a core of black cherry fruit, liquorice, spices, mocha and new leather. Bright, savoury undertones extend the exquisite finish. There's more Cabernet Franc in the blend these days, which is reflected in the wine's crazy aromatic presence and feel. Beautiful." Vinous

Poggio Alle Gazze is a very elegant Sauvignon Blanc with a large addition of Vermentino and small amounts of Viognier, Verdicchio and Semillon. Fabulous flavours of flowers, pineapple, peach and a little mint. Refined and expressive on the palate, well-structured and wonderfully long. SUPERIORE.DE
"Sparkling, medium straw yellow with light golden reflections. Intense and present on the nose of elderflower, sage, citrus and pineapple. Juicy and full-bodied on the palate with beautiful freshness, present fruit, slightly salty notes and good tension." Falstaff
"The 2022 Poggio alle Gazze dell'Ornellaia, composed of 53% Sauvignon Blanc, 37% Vermentino, 6% Viognier, 2% Verdicchio and 2% Semillon, is fragrant and fresh with aromas of lemongrass, sweet sage, honey and green apple floating high in the glass. Pretty mineral notes of flint and gravel round it off. A tart, beautifully drinkable white wine." Wine Advocate
"Expressive aromas and flavours of elderflower, passion fruit, gooseberry and chives combine with the silky texture of this balanced and seamless white wine, which has floral and grapefruit accents on the finish." Wine Spectator

“Biserno” Toscana IGT 2021
Unique Supertuscan made from Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Intense, deep and lively ruby red colour. On the nose, it surprises with its intensity and elegant complexity of flavours. Aromatic herbs and spices emerge from the ripe dark berries, with hints of roasted flavours and dry pastries, followed by delicate, subtle notes from the ageing in barriques. The fine, well-integrated flavour is full, enveloping, with velvety tannins and a freshness that invites you to drink it slowly. Balanced, harmonious, fine and expressive: this wine is capable of constantly evolving. SUPERIORE.DE
"The grapes for this Bordeaux blend come from the best plots on the 40-hectare estate. It is matured for 15 months in predominantly new barriques. Expressive bouquet with ripe red and dark berries, framed by ethereal and balsamic notes, eucalyptus and Mediterranean herbal spice. Juicy on the palate with a perfectly ripe character, deep spiciness and fine, ripe tannins, remains very finesse-rich and elegant until the spicy, intense final." Weinwisser
"Famous bouquet with notes of violets, forest fruits, black pepper; balanced texture, the tannins robust and well integrated, harmonious progression with a solid final on dark berries and Mediterranean scrub." Vinum
"Bright, elegant ruby red colour. On the nose, cassis, cold smoke, cranberries, undergrowth and subtle hints of white bread. Compact, polished, very precise on the palate, with cool cassis fruit and fine mint flavours as well as tightly woven tannins, plus enormous juiciness, high drinking flow, very well done." Falstaff
"This wine is fresh and well-defined with bracing acidity driving the blackcurrant, blackberry, herb and spice flavours. Smooth and harmonious, with a line of chalky tannins on the finish, while the herbal elements persist." Wine Spectator
"Dark nose, gently herbal and fragrant, with hints of ripe fruit such as sultanas, figs, plums and notes of jasmine and liquorice. Soft and supple, with life and energy. Round and intense, with sweet, ripe cherries and blackcurrants, this wine feels quite serious, structured and with definite muscle, but still with refinement in the tannic finesse and overall weight on the palate. Streamlined and focused, with a certain power that is still restrained at the moment, but noticeable nonetheless. Nice notes of graphite and cool blue fruit help offset the sweet ripeness that is evident, but this wine manages to straddle the line between the two." Decanter
"The fresh herbs such as basil and thyme are attractive, paired with blackcurrants and blackberries on the nose. Full-bodied with lots of fruit and velvety tannins, showing an opulent and super Tuscan intensity. It needs three to five years to develop." James Suckling

Limitation of 3 articles per customer“Poggio Valente 25 anni” Rosso Toscana IGT 2021 · Double MAGNUM in OWC
"The 2021 is ripe and silky, showing an intensity of soft, creamy red fruits with a lovely mineral note.

“Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia” Bolgheri DOC 2022 · MAGNUM in OWC

“Saffredi” Rosso Toscana IGT 2021 · MAGNUM in OWC
"This pure, intense red wine shows aromas and flavours of blackcurrants, blackberries, blueberries and violets, underlined by graphite and wild herbs. Very tightly wound, even racy, with invigorating acidity and refined tannins, this noble red wine leans more towards the elegant side, with a great harmony and length." Wine Spectator
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, nose of small black fruits, notes of laurel, mint and Mediterranean herbs, taut and dense drink, with salty tannins, closes with a fruity and oily return." “Magari” Rosso Bolgheri DOC 2022 · MAGNUM in OWC

“Camarcanda” Bolgheri Rosso DOC 2021
Camarcanda is a rich Bolgheri Rosso Superiore with a dark bouquet of black fruit, espresso, chocolate, liquorice and tar. The palate is extremely full-bodied, with outstanding depth, dense structure and a firm body. Opulent and long, this wine already shows a wide range of personality. SUPERIORE.DE
"Warm-scented aromas of black cherries, herbs, spiced up with liquorice and smoke; has a lot of pressure, but also a lot of polish, the tightly woven, grippy tannins and the supporting acidity guarantee a long life, finishes long on opulent fruit flavours." Vinum
"Elegant, bright ruby red colour. Intense nose with notes of cassis and blackberry, clear and concise, fine herbal spice in the background. On the palate with savoury juiciness and dark berry fruit, opens with grippy tannins in many layers, pithy, with lots of juicy fruit, firm pressure and notes of graphite on the final." Falstaff
"The 2021 is an impressive effort with fragrant aromas of dried cherries, sous bois and minty black fruits that continue on the palate with intensity and vibrancy. Hints of balsamic herbs, raspberries and floral notes are also evident. It is powerful and minty-fresh and a real eye-catcher." Decanter
"A tasty and juicy young red wine with flavours of currants, raspberries and boysenberries that develop into a medium to full body with creamy and polished tannins and a beautiful finish. It is fresh and concentrated." James Suckling
"The Ca' Marcanda 2021 Bolgheri Rosso Camarcanda is made with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc in a supporting role. This is a bold and beautifully concentrated wine with a brilliant character that is best described as Rubenesque. It exhibits a supple texture and deep richness supported by sweet fruit and raspberry flavours. The ripe, well-structured tannins give way to a sparkling freshness that gives it energy and life." Wine Advocate
"The 2021 Camarcanda is a fabulous wine from the Gaja family, the best they have ever made from their estate in Bolgheri. Silky, aromatic and wonderfully pure, the 2021 Camarcanda is a superb, contemporary expression of Bolgheri with plenty of coastal sunshine and warmth, but not overdone. Silky tannins frame the exceptionally polished, nuanced finish. The 2021 is so seductive." Vinous
"Pure and elegant, with saturated flavours of violets, blackcurrants, blackberries, liquorice and iron. This wine is so beautifully balanced that even at this young stage it feels almost seamless, offering a lean profile and an endless aftertaste that mirrors the fruit. The oak is very well integrated, with polished tannins." Wine Spectator

“Grattamacco” Rosso Bolgheri Superiore DOC 2021 (BIO) · MAGNUM in OWC
Already very approachable and well balanced with a chalky texture at the end.

“Ornellaia” Bolgheri Superiore DOC 2021
Ornellaia Bolgheri Superiore 2021 is a wine of extreme precision. It offers well-proportioned power and depth with profound layers of black fruit, coffee and liquorice. It captivates with its lustre and polished texture, which merges into great richness, concentration and structure. Enveloping as it progresses with sweet dark fruits and dark spices that linger for a long time. Ornellaia 2021 is a wonderful, if not perfect, example of the impressive potential of this great Tuscan vintage! SUPERIORE.DE
"The Ornellaia 2021 is the expression of a typical Bolgheri vintage, in which there was no lack of sunny periods without rainfall, resulting in rich and concentrated, but at the same time very expressive and multi-faceted wines. On the nose, typical scents of Mediterranean scrub, aromatic herbs, cypress berries and the classic flavours of blackcurrant and dark fruit, accompanied on the palate by a dense tannic texture that envelops it with precision and finesse. The final is persistent and vibrant, leaving a feeling of aromatic freshness and elegance." Olga Fusari, Oenologist (bis 2023)
"Almost black in the glass. The 2021 Ornellaia is one of the best I have tasted in recent years. The precisely contoured nose is very elegant with highly ripe, dark red cherry fruit, balsamic top notes, pencil lead and Mediterranean herbal spice. Full-bodied and full of finesse on the palate, the super fine sandy tannins lay wonderfully over the clear fruit, showing terrific balance and structure. Rarely experienced with such finesse." Weinwisser
"Enchanting aromas of blackberries, lilac, liquorice and mint, also subtle notes of blood orange; superb structure with lots of character, but also great light-footedness, the fine-grained tannin and acidity in harmony, long finish." Vinum
"Bright, rich ruby colour with a slight violet hue. Very impressive and accessible nose, showing notes of dark currants, dark cherries and fresh plums, as well as spicy macchia herbs. Lots of fine-meshed tannins on the palate, giving the wine length and polish, dark berries and tobacco, with a long finish." Falstaff
"More intense, nuanced crimson than most. Rich, hedonistic nose. Full and perfumed with many elements, including some mintiness, making up the whole. Strikingly long and rewarding. Good stuff. Already appealing and with an appetising finish." Jancis Robinson
"The Ornellaia 2021 Bolgheri Superiore Ornellaia offers an extra layer of richness, generosity and fullness that makes for a very open and voluptuous Tuscan red wine. You can feel the fruit and the weight of the oak, the extract and the alcohol content of 15 %. All these elements combine to great effect. Black cherries, dark fruits, sweet spices and barbecue smoke emerge from this power. The fruity tannins are young, and this edition of Ornellaia proves worthy of drinking in the medium or long term, especially as it mellows with bottle age." Wine Advocate
"Despite the warm growing season, Ornellaia 2021 feels less dense and muscular than previous vintages. It offers pretty floral and wild herb scents alongside ripe red and black fruit flavours. It's intense, fresh and vertical in character, with fine, ripe, round tannins that seem to be a hallmark of the vintage - it's a beautiful, airy iteration of the Bolgheri benchmark that's already drinking well." Decanter
"An intense red, characterised by lively acidity and framed by dense, ripe tannins that bring out its aromas and flavours of blackcurrants, blackberries, violets and toasted oak. Iron and wild herb accents emerge on the finish. Although expressive at this stage, this youthful version will benefit from time in the bottle." Wine Spectator
"Aromas of blackcurrants, iodine, gravel, hints of mint and sage. Blue fruits. Full-bodied with chewy tannins that open up with air. It is racy and very long. Very tannic and energetic with power and focus. Muscular and very taut. This is the best Ornellaia for the cellar in years." James Suckling
"The Ornellaia 2021 captures all the magic of this sensational vintage on the Tuscan coast. The 2021 is rich, lush and expansive, with tremendous polish, it is pure class. Dark fruits, mocha, espresso, liquorice, plum and dried herbs abound. The tannins are present but also beautifully integrated, as is the French oak. The blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 7% Petit Verdot is very well done." Vinous

Fragrant and fresh on the nose with beautiful concentration and complexity. Summery aromas of stone fruit, ripe peach, jasmine and a hint of fragrant beeswax. The racy, slender mouthfeel has a certain density and reveals an elegant hint of gravel and chalk and flavours of white almonds on the finish. Everything is already in its place here, but it will gain in complexity with further bottle ageing. SUPERIORE.DE
"Straw yellow colour with golden reflections. On the nose, it exudes impressively complex aromas, including apricot and acacia blossom, accompanied by spicy notes and roasted hazelnuts. On the palate, the wine captivates with a true panorama of aromas and flavours, spicy but at the same time full-bodied, with a very long aromatic persistence in the final.
Olga Fusari, Oenologist (bis 2023)"Bright straw yellow with green nuances. Aromas of apricot, grapefruit and redcurrant, with delicate saline notes. Juicy on the palate, shows presence with lots of crisp fruit, fresh, lemony notes, long-lasting and savoury." Falstaff
"Complex aromas of ripe stone fruit and acacia blossom, but also subtle mint and spice notes; extremely harmonious texture, very well supported by the acidity, lots of exotic fruit with exquisite bitter almond notes on the final." Vinum
"This silky white wine has an almost creamy texture and shows flavours of flowers, peach, sage and mint with a hint of grapefruit pulp. Complex, balanced and long, with a savoury component in the lingering aftertaste." Wine Spectator
"Ornellaia Bianco 2021 is now a pure Sauvignon Blanc. This wine plays its best cards in terms of texture. It has broad shoulders and enough texture to support the many creamy citrus and delicately tropical flavours. A hint of crushed stone adds elegance." Wine Advocate
"The 2021 Ornellaia Bianco is seductive. I sense a little more textural richness than in previous editions, which I see as a positive. White pear, jasmine, sage, mint, white pepper, peach and apricot fill out the layers. Light tropical accents appear with some aeration, adding a tropical flair that is very attractive. This is impeccably made." Vinous
"Perfumed, exotic, stony and honeyed, it is nonetheless a vertical and focused wine whose structure encompasses rich aromas and flavours of mango, peach, white flowers, orange peel, papaya and passion fruit." Decanter
"This is a dense and concentrated white wine, yet agile and easy to chew. Very beautiful flavours. Full-bodied, with a tension and frame that gives this wine real precision and intensity. Taut on the finish. Already beautiful now, but it will age beautifully. The best white wine ever from here?" James Suckling
