Radice is produced using the Pét Nat method (Metodo Ancestrale) and therefore undergoes a second fermentation on its own yeast after bottling. This naturally cloudy, dry frizzante impresses on the nose with notes of rhubarb, a fresh citrus flavour and a hint of bread. The persistent, fine perlage and its drinkynature make it a racy accompaniment to savoury, spicy antipasti, light meat dishes or simply a lively celebration in the midst of nature and cheerful people. Terre di Chieti IGT was created in 1995 when the IGT category was first introduced throughout Italy. It is complemented by the more site-specific title Colline Teatine IGT, which focuses only on the hills around the provincial capital of Chieti.
