L'America is the old name of a place where there was already a small vineyard and a shelter for animals in the 1950s. It was located on one of the outer borders of the winery, so the name L'America still embodies seclusion and great ambition at the same time. The plot is 300 metres above sea level, in terrain with rich and deep skeletal soils. Protected from winds, the scents of the woods are preserved here and the plants benefit from softened sunlight. This constellation gives the fresh and herb-accentuated Rosso a low pH value, a beautiful acid structure, a radiantly bright colour and a comparatively high tannin content. SUPERIORE.DE

The name of this fresh and aromatic Malvasia is dedicated to the former owner Paola Lantieri, who cultivated the 4.5 hectare vineyard with great dedication. The vines grow on mineral soils of ash, fine brown sand, pumice and silicate.

The Barbera d'Alba Bricco dei Merli is characterised by the balance and harmony that we also find in Elvio Cogno's other wines. Barbera can sometimes take on exaggerated flavours, but Cogno's Barbera offers a beautiful intensity of dark fruit without ever being heavy or too rich. Since the 2020 vintage, Haberle has been called Versalto and is certified organic. Diversity as a focus: Versalto is characterised by geological, microclimatic and cultural contrasts. Its grapes come from the Haberlehof farm in Buchholz on the eastern side of the Adige Valley and from the opposite vineyards in Penon above Margreid. Both vineyards are situated at an altitude of around 500 metres and guarantee optimal conditions for the variety.

Here comes one of the probably least known charmers from the noble region around Montalcino. An exciting nose of barbecue smoke, onion and paprika. The Lageder family now only makes one Sauvignon Bianco, and it belongs to the "Compositions" line. It gets its complexity from the wide variety of different clones in the vineyards. The majority of these are situated at an altitude of over 400 metres and are based on limestone soil on the one hand and volcanic weathered rock on the other. The different source rocks and the variety of vines led the Lageders to name the wine. This is because it consists of fragments from the best organic and biodynamic vineyards, which are married to form a whole. The Cuvée dei Frati is composed of classic Lugana grapes and ten per cent Chardonnay to round it off. Gianni Del Fabbro, owner of Ronc di Vico, learned his craft at home in Friuli. At first wine was just a hobby for him, but then he studied the art of winemaking with the support of the respected and highly qualified winemaker Enzo Pontoni, owner of the Miani winery. His Sauvignon is young and fresh, yet with great ageing potential. On the nose, beautiful notes of mandarin, grapefruit and mango, on the palate intense, with great fullness and vibrant energy.
