Sangioveto di Toscana IGT 2020 (BIO)
Sangioveto, which consists of 100% organic Sangiovese, is grown in cool locations at an altitude of 260 to 370 metres with a south-westerly exposure. In the past, Sangiovese was called "Sangioveto" or "San Zoveto". It represents a refined expression from this particular part of the appellation and a very faithful interpretation of the Tuscan grape.
Bright ruby red in colour, the broad aroma spectrum of Sangiovese ranges from sweet vanilla notes to hints of raspberries and blackberries. The relaxed flavour is dense and creamy-soft, offering a harmonious blend of tannins and alcohol with a precisely adjusted acidity level. The finish is long-lasting and impressive. SUPERIORE.DE
"On the nose, it has notes of plums, olives, cloves and tomato leaves. It is spicy and slightly chewy with a medium body and piquant acidity. A strong finish." James Suckling

“Propago” Metodo Classico Blanc de Blancs Alta Langa DOCG 2019 extra brut
Straw yellow with golden reflections. The rich bouquet has a fine and persistent aroma of minerals, flowers and citrus fruits. The palate is precise, refined and creamy, flavoursome, with a beautiful note of flint and pebbles. Everything seems to be in perfect balance, almost weightless, fresh and long. On the palate, Propago shows a wonderful harmony with the nose, with a consistent flavour reminiscent of citrus notes and a recurring subtle minerality. SUPERIORE.DE

“Vie di Romans” Chardonnay Friuli Isonzo DOC 2022
Warm, rich golden yellow colour. A rich bouquet of pretty white and yellow flowers, layers of apricot, pear and melon. On the palate, a rich texture, a certain opulence and beautiful intensity, with hints of spices and almonds, all framed by a virile acidity that leads this work of art into a long, furious finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright, pale straw yellow colour. Opens fresh on the nose on grapefruit and freshly cut grass, then warmer on pineapple and passion fruit, a hint of brioche. Silky attack, rolls over the palate with gentle pressure, concentrated fruit, harmonious into the long, juicy finish." Falstaff
"A seductive bouquet of honey blossom, almond custard, lemon curd and chamomile makes the 2022 Chardonnay Vie di Romans impossible to ignore. This wine is very structured, almost oily and heavy in flavour, but still perfectly refined, with a salty mineral note in the foreground that balances the core of ripe fruit well. The 2022 cleanses beautifully, with a concentration of citrus and a hint of tropical melon that lingers incredibly long, while a touch of residual acidity maintains a lovely freshness. This is a fantastic achievement." Vinous
"The 2022 Friuli Isonzo Chardonnay Vie di Romans is a generous white with plenty of fruit weight. Pronounced flavours of ripe peach and fruit steal the show, but there are also sweet notes of calla lily and hibiscus. There is even a spicy hint of lavender, but the wine finishes with a distinctly sweet flavour. Both testify to the hot growing season of 2022." Wine Advocate
"A complex and restrained wine with an intense nose of lemon leaves, pink grapefruit and mangoes, plus a whiff of herbaceous character. Medium-bodied, it shows a silky texture and elegance overall, with long, refreshing acidity and intoxicating savory length." James Suckling

Limitation of 6 articles per customerMetodo Classico Rosé Millesimato VSQ 2018 dosaggio zero
Straw yellow with greenish reflections. An exciting bouquet of white flowers, roses and a hint of acacia honey. Spicy and taut on the palate, with a very aristocratic perlage, flavours of bread crust, yeast and a hint of liquorice. One of the few outstanding Metodo Classico from the Veneto made from 100% Pinot Nero. Very great class! SUPERIORE.DE
"The Vino Spumante Rosé Dosaggio Zero 2018 is floral, exotic, slightly tropical and yet very refined as it exudes a bouquet of fresh roses, dusty peach and dried strawberries. It has a soft body and feel, with a savoury core that drives the ripe red berries and sweet spice across the palate. It is bone dry and yet so fruity and refined. The mouth remains watery while the 2018 finishes mineral. This is a single-varietal Pinot Noir made according to the Metodo Classico method." Vinous

“Titolo” Aglianico del Vulture Classico DOC 2021 (BIO)
Elena Fucci's exceptional Titolo wine is built for the long haul. It will continue its steady development for at least the next 20 years, which is why it is particularly enjoyable when aged in magnum format. Dark ruby red in colour, the bouquet has aromas of ripe red fruit and a fine woody spice. The wine is assembled with enormous precision, offering a balanced intensity and a beautiful degree of fruit purity that speaks both in favour of the Aglianico grape and the extreme region that produces it. Titolo impresses with its fine texture and elegantly integrated tannins. This is the kind of masterful Aglianico performance we love. SUPERIORE.DE
"The nose is primarily savory, with aromas of balsamic, mushrooms, earth and stone, but medicinal undertones and a drizzle of black-cherry syrup provide nuance. The palate also skews savory at first, but lingering notes of cherry and herbs eventually take center stage. Aggressive acid hurls spicy punches at the dusty tannins." Wine Enthusiast
"The Aglianico del Vulture Classico Titolo 2021 is unmissable with a classic bouquet that blends tart black fruit and citrus notes with exotic spices, incense and ash stone. Seamless and silky to the touch, it is elegant through and through. Crisp red and black berries combine with a mixture of mineral notes and piquant acidity. The tannins only become noticeable on the finish, which is crisp and angular, yet retains a perfect freshness. The 2021 rejuvenates with nuances of liquorice and sage. This racy version of the Titolo impresses on so many levels." Vinous
"The 2021 Aglianico del Vulture Titolo is indeed a classic Elena Fucci and the wine you should buy if you love her distinctive style. It opens with sweet flavours that come from the velvety ripeness of the fruit, but also from the careful ageing in oak. Baked plums, rum cake and dried fruit mingle with honey granules on the nose. The finish of the Titolo is very long and is characterised by an acidic freshness and the grippy tannins typical of this grape variety. In this case, the tannins are not too dry and there is enough power to drive future development in the bottle." Wine Advocate
"An exceptional terroir, from 50-70 year old vines, in one of its favourite cradles, the volcanic soil of Barile. The Titolo is a masterpiece: tension, citrus fruit, pomegranate and a sometimes iodised finish. In the mouth, it is vertical, savoury, with great elegance and depth." Luca Gardini

“I Sistri Collezione Privata” Chardonnay Toscana IGT 2019
"Notes of ripe mangoes and peaches with tangerine peel, beeswax, caramel and spices. Full and creamy with a crisp, consistent acidity that adds tension and freshness. Balanced, focussed and well made." James Suckling
"The Fèlsina 2019 Chardonnay I Sistri Collezione Privata is a medium-bodied wine with lots of fruit, preserved lemon, apricot, saffron spice and a pinch of cumin or cinnamon. The wine shows a creamy texture with long, soft fruit flavours that should carry this wine beyond the 10-year mark." Wine Advocate

“Siccagno” Nero d’Avola Sicilia DOC 2021 (BIO)
Muscular Nero d'Avola, deep dark red in colour, rich in extract and powerful with aromas of dried fruit, raspberries, beetroot and blackcurrants. A juicy Sicilian from natural cultivation that enchants us with its great personality and beguiling finesse. SUPERIORE.DE
"A single-variety Nero d’Avola, Siccagno displays a dark ruby colour and opens up to deep aromas of crushed blackberries, chocolate-covered hazelnuts, leather, and a whiff of tar. The darkest wine in the range, firm acidity and slightly dusty tannins provide the backbone for layers of undergrowth-tinged black fruits, a lively progression with a medium to long finish lifted by anchovy-like salinity. Slightly more rustic than the Frappato-based wines, it will show best with some bottle ageing." Decanter

Barbaresco DOCG 2021
"For us, it is important that a good Barbaresco fully expresses its characteristics: elegance, finesse and harmony. The 2020 vintage has given us a complete wine that is very fascinating and has excellent ageing potential. Although it is drinkable now, we recommend storing a few bottles to observe its development. We are excited to see how it will develop over the coming years." Franco Massolino
The grapes for Massolino's Barbaresco come from the Starderi, Albesani and Serraboella vineyards. Medium garnet red in colour with rust-red highlights. A charming bouquet of bright red fruit, rose petals and violets. Rather delicate on the palate, with an elegance and finesse that is completely convincing even at a young age. As it progresses, it reveals a seductive fruit centre, fine tannins and a well-proportioned acidity structure that open up a great future for it. Very well made! SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright, light garnet red colour. Delicate, restrained nose of small red fruits and sour cherry, with a leather and light undergrowth aftertaste. Retronasal clearly redcurrant, elegant palate with fine-grained tannins, good drinking flow, needs some air and should be decanted." Falstaff
"Brilliant medium carmine red colour. Dark cherry, which becomes mineral and salty with air. Loosened up and a little balsamic with a hint of liquorice. Fresh cherry and raspberry flavours with grippy tannins." Jancis Robinson
"Aromas of herbs, twigs and savoury spices intertwine with macerating red berries and a hint of mushrooms. Beautifully firm tannins frame fresh red berry flavours bursting with vitality, while sweet spices accompany the palate through to an elegant finish." Wine Enthusiast
"A floral nose with aromas of red cranberries. Lots of juicy red and black fruit on the palate, powerful and firmly structured, full with tannins and bright acidity." Decanter
"Bright aromas of cinnamon and earthy strawberries with violets and dried cherries. Powerful, with pronounced acidity, dusty but ripe tannins and ripe fruit on the finish. An accessible Barbaresco that will also age well." James Suckling
"The 2021 Barbaresco is a blend from parcels in Albesani, Serraboella and Starderi. Graceful and nuanced, the 2021 offers notes of crushed flowers, orange peel, mint, sweet red berries and spices. The harvestwill find a Barbaresco in a class of its own. Outstanding flavours, a medium-weight structure and persistent but fine tannins give the wine its shape. This is wonderfully made." Vinous
"Aromas and flavours of cherry, strawberry, rose, hay and white pepper combine with a firm structure and lively acidity in this expressive, complex red wine, which is harmonious and long in the fruity and spicy finish." Wine Spectator

“Bradisismo” Cabernet-Carménère Colli Berici DOC 2019
1997 saw the birth of Bradisismo, named after the geological event that led to the formation of the Colli Berici. It is a successful symbiosis of the intense, concentrated flavour of ripe Cabernet Sauvignon cherries and the lively, spicy notes of Carmenere. With its bouquet of small dark berries, spices, pepper and chocolate, it is a wonderfully inexpensive alternative to the great Bordeaux blends or Supertuscans. On the palate, it has a velvety texture, with a mix of dark fruits, cherries, floral notes and fine tannins that glide seamlessly over the palate. Deep, long finish and very good ageing potential. SUPERIORE.DE
"Dark ruby red colour with a violet core. On the nose, aromas of cassis, pickled forest fruits and green pepper, plus dark chocolate and black pepper. Fruity on the palate, present tannins, animating drinking flow, persistent and with a fine salinity in the finish." Falstaff
"The 2019 Cabernet Bradisismo opens slowly in the glass with exotic spices and crushed stones fading into blackcurrant, and is savoury and darkly floral. It's cool and racy in style, holding its power in reserve as a wave of ripe red and black fruit floods the palate with youthful concentration. Salty minerals mingle with rugged tannins on the long and structured final." Vinous
"This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Carmenere opens with deep aromas of blackberry jam, spiced plum compote and star anise. As the wine develops in the glass, notes of violet, tobacco and graphite rise. Stupendously well balanced, with integrated tannins and mouth-watering acidity that frames the generous dark-hued fruits on the palate, as sweet oak spices linger on the finish." Wine Enthusiast
"A balanced and lively blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere. Plums, blueberries, dark cherries, undergrowth, leaves, sweet tobacco and a hint of black olives. Medium to full body with fine, firm tannins. Structured and textured with dark berries and some chocolate character on the palate. Earthy with a hint of spice on the long finish. Best from 2025." “Buri Bellaria” Friulano Friuli Colli Orientali DOC 2020
"I think it's safe to say that Serena Palazzolo and her husband Christian Patat are at the top of their game, which means that the wines of Ronco del Gnemiz are among the best made in Friuli today. There is a lot to choose from here, because the transparency of the terroir is paramount. It may be easier to sell and market one or two Sauvignons, Chardonnay or Friulano wines, but the differences between each hill, each site and the age of each vineyard create such unique expressions that it would be a shame not to produce all six.
Standing on the hill where this winery is located, looking out over Rosazzo in the Colli Orientali, it becomes clear why these vineyard designations are so important to the future of the region. These hills rise and fall like bubbles rising from the earth and dropping to the horizon. I can imagine a winemaker's fascination with each of these unique sites. If you're making a short list of Friuli's best producers, you should put Ronco del Gnemiz at the top of the list." Vinous
The site near Buttrio, where the grapes of the autochthonous grape variety Friulano come from, belongs, together with Rosazzo, to the Grand Crus of the Friuli Colli Orientali appellation. Here there are not only no regulations, but also a lean, loose marl soil, which ensures extremely small yields every year. In good vintages, however, one is rewarded all the more for this: the volume and fruit concentration, the lower acidity and the unmistakable saltiness of the wines will lead to pleasurable heights after a few years of bottle ageing that will make lovers of complex, energetic whites giddy. SUPERIORE.DE
"The Friulano Buri Bellaria 2020 is so pretty and perfumed, it smells like a basket of freshly picked flowers with hints of pear and chamomile. It is fleshy and enveloping, with a nice lift of acidity that enlivens the ripe peaches and melons that seduce the senses. It leaves the mouth watering and finishes remarkably fresh and spicy, with a hint of ginger that slowly tapers off." Vinous

Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2018 (BIO)
The Brunello di Montalcino 2018 from controlled organic cultivation shows its graceful and delicate side, with wild cherries, blue flowers and warm earthiness. On the palate, the wine is silky and supple, with a hint of crushed minerals and limestone. The fresh acidity makes for a long but wonderfully elegant finish. The final is surprisingly fresh, almost juicy, with a subtle tug of youthful tannins and a hint of liquorice that slowly fades. Not a powerhouse, but a beautifully balanced Brunello of the vintage. SUPERIORE.DE
"It delivers cherry and strawberry fruit layered with earth and spice, supported by compact, vibrant tannins. This red has calmed down with aeration but still needs time to integrate as it still leans towards the dry side in balance." Wine Spectator
"A soft and refined Brunello from 2018 with creamy tannins and a flattering texture. It is medium-bodied with beautiful fruit and a fresh finish. Crushed mussels at the end." James Suckling
"The nose is predominantly earthy, mineral and stony, but a powerful herbaceousness and delicate, just-ripe cherries provide balance. On the palate, fruit goes on the offensive against a persistent earthiness that's empowered by chalky tannins and buzzy acid." Wine Enthusiast
"The Poggio Landi 2018 Brunello di Montalcino from organic farming manages to emphasise the bright fruit, which is not always the case with other wines, especially in this difficult vintage. Red cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant are at the centre of this wine. These tones are framed by light spice, pressed rose and candied orange peel. This wine stands out from the crowd thanks to its lively primary intensity and transparent Sangiovese characteristics. The finish is lean and streamlined." Wine Advocate

Barbaresco DOCG 2020
The grapes for the Barbaresco come mainly from the top vineyards Pora, Ovello, Montestefano, Muncagota and Rio Sordo. Deep, lively ruby to garnet red colour. A broad bouquet of red fruits and biscuits with a hint of minerality. The palate is characterised by a rich, solid structure and a continuous development that ends in a long, fragrant final. Every year, the leading Italian winegrowers' cooperative shows what it and its members are capable of with its basic Barbaresco. SUPERIORE.DE
"Youthful, medium ruby red colour. A real, concentrated fruit nose, which is sadly lacking in this vintage. Subtle marasca cherry on the palate with lots of finely milled tannins; head and shoulders above the rest." Jancis Robinson
"It is aromatic and attractive with notes of dried cherries, hibiscus, cocoa and bark, followed by a medium body with polished and refined tannins with a velvety texture and a linear finish. Fresh and floral on the finish with a bright red fruit backbone." James Suckling
"The 2020 Barbaresco is a beautiful, harmonious wine that will drink well with minimal cellaring time. Forward fruit and soft curves are perhaps a little atypical for a young Barbaresco, but this also makes the wine very enjoyable. Juicy red cherry and plum fruit, rose petals, spices, cedar, mint and tobacco come together in the glass. Classicists will probably prefer other vintages, but it's hard not to like the 2020 for its charming, exuberant personality. At the same time, aeration brings out a greater aromatic presence and also a good structure." Vinous
"Still vinous, with youthful strawberry notes, rosebud, violets, liquorice and a hint of cinnamon. Spicy and floral on the palate, dominated by firm, crisp and persistent acidity and velvety, ripe tannins of astonishing quality; perhaps a little austere on the finish. Amazing Barbaresco. Here we have the Barbaresco co-operative, known for producing some of the best value quality wines in the Langhe." Decanter
"Be inspired by the harmonious blend of cooked cherries and a range of spice blends, accompanied by subtle hints of medicinal herbs and rose water. Soft and rounded, but with a noticeable spiciness, this wine presents a fruit-driven profile with flavours of cherry and raspberry complemented by a refreshing acidity. Its polished and elegant character develops in the bottle and will age long into the future, while it is already great today." Wine Enthusiast
"The 2020 Barbaresco offers a wealth of flavours of wild cherries, blue flowers, sweet spices and crushed limestone. As always, the wine paints an exciting and authentic portrait of Nebbiolo, albeit with a little more richness and texture in this vintage. This is especially true on the palate, where the wine offers a medium-bodied intensity with melting tannins." Wine Advocate

The grapes for this exotic, barrique-aged noble Chardonnay come from the Bricco Bastia and Ginestra vineyards and the result is a bright, racy white wine in a minimal edition. Barbera d'Alba Superiore Fides from the famous Mosconi vineyard offers a very nuanced bouquet characterised by blackberry, black cherry, cassis and plum on the one hand and pronounced mineral notes on the other. Fides offers a dark concentration and a soft, intense texture. Lavender, mint and sweet floral notes give it additional vigour and make it one of the best single-vineyard Barberas in Piedmont every year. SUPERIORE.DE
"Fruit for this wine is sourced from an excellent site in Monforte d'Alba. The Pio Cesare 2021 Barbera d'Alba Superiore Vigna Mosconi Fides is dark in color and rich and concentration. La Firma, a single-varietal Aglianico that matures in natural caves of volcanic tuff, carat and French oak barrels. Beautiful ruby red colour with bright violet reflections. Complex bouquet with aromas of small black berries, liquorice and hay. Powerful and very harmonious on the palate, characterised by velvety tannins and a long, balsamic finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"This savory and full-bodied red has notes of walnuts, dried mint, bitter chocolate and black fruit on the nose. The tannins are still firm and somewhat grainy, but there is excellent freshness." James Suckling
"The dark and atmospheric Aglianico del Vulture La Firma 2017 exudes a seductive bouquet of plum sauce, medicinal black cherries, cocoa and incense. It glides over the palate like liquid velvet and produces a cool blend of crunchy red and black fruits. The finish is dramatically long and intensely mineral, leaving a tart hint of blackberry and an aftertaste of sour citrus. The 2017 is complex and full of personality, but it's currently in a youthfully backward state. Bury it in the cellar to get the best results." Vinous

Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2020 (BIO)
Chianti Classico Riserva Castello di Volpaia is a dark, powerful wine. Black cherry, smoke, liquorice, incense, mocha, menthol, lavender and leather give this virile, brooding Riserva plenty of character. The palate is very aromatic with sweet red cherries, cedar wood and nuances of blood orange, yet very powerful and multi-layered with terrific depth and structure. A dream for Sangiovese lovers. SUPERIORE.DE
"Brilliant ruby red colour with delicate rim brightening. Magnificent, complex nose, lots of small red berries, raspberry and wild strawberry, violets, subtly leathery. Elegant and very juicy on the palate, beautiful tension to peppery-spicy notes, ripe cherry fruit, vibrant acidity on the finish, powerful tannins in the background." Falstaff
"The 2020 Chianti Classico Riserva is terrific. Macerated dark cherry, spice, leather, tobacco, dried flowers and underbrush are some of the many notes that grace this super-expressive Riserva. The 2020 is a touch somber, but that only adds to its considerable allure." Vinous
"In the bottle with the black label, the organic 2020 Chianti Classico Riserva offers ripe fruit with measured intensity that never feels heavy or overdone. Achieving this level of balance is not easy in a hot growing season such as this. This wine is characterized by an especially linear and direct personality that pushes it over the palate with good momentum." Wine Advocate
"Attractive aromas of ripe cherries, dried strawberries, dried orange peel, spices and crushed stones, following through to a medium to full body with compact tannins that are firm and finely grained. Smooth and textured with vivid fruit underneath and a lingering finish." James Suckling

“Rio delle Rose” Chardonnay Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC 2019
Antonio Bragato, born in Germany but with an absolute Friulian identity, joined forces 20 years ago with Gianni Maccari, who was cellar master at Livio Felluga for many years and founded his own winery Ronco della Rocca at the beginning of the millennium. Maccari, who has a degree in agronomy and Oenologist, is considered one of the best-trained viticultural experts in Friuli. The profound knowledge of his own 12 hectares of vineyards as well as the leased plots and the radical precision in the execution of every operation characterise the clear style and the reliable quality of the wines that Antonio Bragato creates there together with him.
From the 2019 vintage, Antonio Bragato's wine experiment enters a new era. Since then, the team has relied on an even more rigorous selection of the oldest vines from the coolest and best sites. The results of the "New Edition" can truly be seen and tasted. They are even more radical in complexity and finesse. We are pleased to be able to offer our customers the smallest editions of these wines, which confirm the many years of work and experience of the two quality fanatics!
The vines from which the Chardonnay grapes for Rio delle Rose come are over 80 years old. Fine, exotic and noticeably mineral bouquet of pome fruit, apple, citrus peel, white flowers, some flint and a hint of banana and pineapple. On the palate driven forward, with nice pressure and juicy draw, then as it progresses this fine minerality again and in the long, complex finish a very delicate, never-ending melt. Very balanced and big - with its subtle restraint and great personality, Rio delle Rose is for us one of the best Chardonnays from Friuli! SUPERIORE.DE
"Dense nose with ripe pome fruit, light flowers, herbal spice and fresh herbs, pink grapefruit, lime zest, fine wood, plus ethereal notes. Powerful in the mouth, yet very balanced thanks to the juicy train, shows itself stoffig with a lot of inner density, remains sharply contoured, enormously juicy, wonderfully dry, very classic without exuberant melting. Rather compact with a cool style." Weinwisser
"Fragrant on the nose, juicy pears, red apple, honeydew melon, lemon zest, hazelnut, meadow herbs. On the palate juicy fruit, spice, fine tannin, creamy core with lively acidity. Pleasantly salty finish, nice length." Falstaff
"An impressively concentrated Chardonnay with excellent structure and lively acidity that makes it seem lighter than it actually is. Wonderful peach fruit and delicate vanilla oak combine with fine tannins in exemplary fashion on the long, crisp and saline finish." James Suckling

Ribolla Gialla Friuli Colli Orientali DOC 2022
Light straw yellow. Hints of honey flank the aromas and flavours of pear and tangerine. Deep and dense, a hint of sweet spice emerges with aeration on the long, rich, tactile back end. Meroi's Ribolla Gialla is always a little more complex and rich than its neighbours. In the final delicate citrus and floral notes. Powerful and very full of character! “Grifi” Rosso Toscana IGT 2020 (BIO)
The combination of two such different personalities as Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon blend brilliantly in Grifi, giving this wine a unique character. The Cabernet gives the wine an extra kick of depth in the mid-palate as well as a tannic backbone that gives the wine plenty of persistence and energy.
Dark ruby red with violet reflections. The nose opens with hints of blueberries, blackberries and incense through to sandalwood and graphite. Dense and complex on the palate with hints of blackberry jam and cinnamon. On the palate, it develops like a balsamic explosion, supported by good acidity. The lively tannin accompanies the savoury and persistent, very linear finish. Grifi is a wonderfully sophisticated and elegant pleasure from the best vineyards around Montepulciano and Cortona. SUPERIORE.DE
"An elegant red, featuring a gleam of pure cherry, currant and strawberry fruit. This is also intense and firmly built, with a layer of dense tannins guarding the finish. Excellent length." Wine Spectator
"Excellent purity and ripeness in the fruit-accentuated nose, but also a certain complexity. Some violets, graphite and spices to the fresh blue fruits and slate. On the palate, I like the texture with fresh, fine-grained tannins and a cool finish. Long, fresh and juicy." James Suckling

“Barrile” Isola dei Nuraghi IGT 2019
The cherry-fruity Nieddera interpretation by Paolo Contini shows itself in a strong ruby red and with the typical aroma of ripe plum and black cherry. Barrile is a splendid wine in Riserva quality and of great richness, soft and warm, yet fresh, structured with a sweet wood spice and an impressive final. SUPERIORE.DE
"A rich and dense red with aromas of walnuts, olives, coffee and mushrooms. Full-bodied, toasty and flavorful, with firm yet integrated tannins. Meaty and intense." James Suckling

“Alma” Franciacorta Gran Cuvée DOCG non dosato
Here comes the new archaic form of Franciacorta - hardly any residual sugar, no dosage, but purism in its purest form. Fresh and direct on the nose, yet finely polished and not exuberant. Extremely elegant on the palate with a fine perlage and plenty of agility. For all its vivacity, it is always sensual, almost distinguished and discreetly subtle and of the greatest harmony. A fresh and crisp fine sparkling wine from the best house and one of the most characterful representatives of its kind at the moment. SUPERIORE.DE,
"Bright straw yellow with persistent perlage. Precise nose of grapefruit, lemon, some wild strawberry, sea salt, intense and appealing, with fine notes of fresh cream on the finish. Juicy, precise, clear on the palate, with a beautiful drive and fine perlage, balanced and harmonious." Falstaff
"The Franciacorta Alma Grande Cuvée Non Dosato is remarkably fresh. A whiff of white smoke gives way to hints of dried flowers, crusty brioche and ginger-spiked apples. This opens with a pretty inner sweetness offset by saline mineral tones and tart orchard fruits. It finishes long and full of tension, leaving a salty flourish savory spice nuances." Vinous

“Tardus” Gewürztraminer Vendemmia Tardiva Alto Adige DOC 2020 dolce
"We are following in the footsteps of great Alsatian Gewürztraminers and breathing new, South Tyrolean life into the venerable tradition of semi-dry wines." Christof Tiefenbrunner
The grapes for this golden yellow late harvest come from chalky gravel soils with moraine deposits. The bouquet has a delicate, seductive aroma of roses, dried fruit and citrus fruits. Surprisingly powerful on the palate with a fine residual sweetness and a lively acid wire that never makes the wine broad or too powerful. The finish is intense, juicy, harmonious and with a mild honey flavour. SUPERIORE.DE
