“Grattamacco” Vermentino Bolgheri DOC 2022 (BIO)
High-quality and rare Vermentino with a straw-yellow colour and a bouquet of white fruit and hazelnut. Fresh and floral on the palate, round and ripe. The well-dosed use of wood gives the wine a fine, creamy texture. A persistent, highly elegant Bolgheri Bianco with fine mineral notes for special occasions. SUPERIORE.DE
"Always a reliable interpretation of Vermentino from Bolgheri: animating bouquet of citrus and apricot, also notes of herbs, flowers and undergrowth; harmonious structure, perfectly integrated acidity, elegant and long. Convinces with its freshness and yet also spiciness." Vinum
"Sparkling light gold colour. Elegant, fragrant bouquet of very juicy limes and grapefruit on sea salt, with delicate hints of rosemary and thyme. Mouth-filling and very juicy on electrifying acidity, with a gentle grip and plenty of tension, it lingers on the palate for a long, salty finish." Falstaff
"Compared to its peers, the organic Grattamacco 2022 Bolgheri Vermentino takes the complexity of this grape up a notch with mineral notes and candied citrus fruit from hot and dry growing conditions. The wine is silky and smooth in texture with a little extra richness in this vintage." Wine Advocate
"A serious Vermentino with powerful and complex flavours of peach, apple, almond, sage and shiso leaves. Firm, dry and salty on the long-lasting finish." Wine Spectator
"Restrained orange blossom with white peach, white pepper and broom flowers. The attack is crisp and citrus-accentuated, with a crisp acidity, medium body and a polished finish." James Suckling

Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2020 (BIO)
The 2020 edition of Col d'Orcia's Brunello di Montalcino wows with its brilliant ruby red colour in the glass and beguiles the nose with a cornucopia of crushed black cherries with hints of brown spices and sage - finesse complemented by notes of white smoke, cedar and dried roses. On the palate, it is seductive and supple; sweet red fruits are contrasted by a fresh and lively acidity and savoury spice, and its finely knit tannins rise slowly towards the end. The finish is long, structured and very balanced with a lingering aftertaste of tart wild berries, a hint of red liquorice and pretty flowers. SUPERIORE.DE
"Very expressive with dark red cherry fruit, with spicy notes reminiscent of wet earth and cinnamon. Dense and creamy in the mouth, very juicy, with savoury, dense tannins, a modern Brunello that should be ready to drink in 2 years." Weinwisser
"Sparkling ruby red with delicate rim brightening. Inviting nose with delicious fruit, reminiscent of cherry and raspberry, with some lavender and vanilla behind it. Harmonious and balanced on the palate, lots of juice, well-integrated tannins, animating, salty final." Falstaff
"Bright ruby red colour. Spicy, brooding and a little rich on the nose with mineral notes. Lush but elegant cherry fruit with just the right dose of marvellous acidity and sandy tannins throughout. It can be approached, but ideally needs more age." Jancis Robinson
"The Brunello di Montalcino 2020 opens slowly with a blend of black cherry and minty herbal scents underscored by a hint of blood orange. It displays a silky texture and airy feel, with tart wild berry flavours and mineral tones underscored by rosy flowers. The 2020 still offers edgy tannins balanced by a hint of zesty acidity." Vinous
"A fresh and refined red with plum and orange flavours and fine tannins. It is medium-bodied, lively and concentrated. It is a little tight at the end, suggesting that it will open up in two or three years. A rather traditional Brunello." James Suckling
"Among the larger wineries in Montalcino, Col d'Orcia is also one of the region's most consistent values - especially given its solid ageing potential in most vintages. The 2020 is no exception. On the nose, it impresses with its lush richness, characterised by red cherries and strawberries. A subliminal flintiness and a mixture of sweet garden and exotic herbs unfold on the nose. A surprisingly powerful structure of dry, sandy tannins slows down its generosity, while leather and orange lurk in the stony core." Decanter
"The Col d'Orcia 2020 Brunello di Montalcino from organic cultivation offers a classic Sangiovese bouquet with a warm, spicy intensity. It shows sweet flavours of raspberry cake and cooked cherry. There is a subtle element of smoked spice in the background. The tannins are open and the wine offers immediate drinking pleasure. It should be exciting to follow the further development of this wine." Wine Advocate
"From the area of Sant’Angelo in Colle, a Brunello able to combine important numbers with impeccable quality, thanks to the weapon of balance. Queen cherry on the nose, white pepper, hints of china and caramelized orangezest. On the palate, spicy tannins, red fruit, then spices and persistence." Luca Gardini

“Keir” Ansonica Toscana IGT 2023
Keir Ansonica is the white answer to Keir Syrah, which is also aged in amphorae. A wine produced in small quantities of 2,000 bottles, which is neither clarified nor filtered and is an expression of both innovation and tradition.
Light golden yellow in colour. Fine, reductive bouquet of lemon peel, tropical fruit and yellow apple with a hint of smoke, honey, spices, herbs and broom. Dry on the palate, with a medium body and beautiful acidity, freshness and complexity. The flavours reflect the bouquet beautifully and lead into a medium-long finish. An excellent white wine, especially with Asian cuisine. SUPERIORE.DE
"This wine gives the Tua Rita team an opportunity to have fun and be creative. This vintage stands out for its texture and mouthfeel that feels creamy and rich. There is a hint of saltiness that rides along stone fruit and melon." Wine Advocate

“Cresasso” Corvina Veronese IGT 2018
Cresasso - an exquisite, single-varietal Corvina. Intense aromas of dark fruit, rose petals and spices. Rich, concentrated fruit on the palate, silky, with a remarkable inner sweetness. Distinctive and sensual. SUPERIORE.DE
"Notes of plum sauce and raspberry ripple across the palate, underscored by loamy earth and mineral accents in this medium-bodied red, which is firmed by lightly chewy tannins. A well-meshed version, with hints of warm spices, cocoa powder and medicinal herbs on the finish." Wine Spectator
"Dark and intense, the 2018 Corvina Veronese Cresasso smolders up with an array of crushed ashen stone, dried flowers, licorice and dusty black currants. It sweeps across the palate with textures of pure silk, elegant and refined, as a wave of polished red and black fruits washes across. A collection of crunchy minerals amasses toward the close. Violet inner florals and hints of lavender drive the finish, as a tinge of sour citrus adds contrast and sweet tannins resonate. I expect the 2018 Cresasso to enjoy a long and broad drinking window. Bravo." Vinous

“Vigna Ca' Guicciardi” Inferno Valtellina Superiore DOCG 2020
The "Ca' Guicciardi" vineyard takes its name from the farmhouse that lies at its centre. The single vineyard is characterised by small, very steep valleys. Impressive rock faces alternate with terraces supported by some of the highest dry stone walls in Valtellina. The special colour of the rock, which tends towards a quartz-like white, considerably enhances the power of the sun and leads to higher temperatures and more light here than in other parts of the valley.
Vigna Ca' Guicciardi has an intense, bright ruby red colour, pronounced aromas of ripe red fruit with predominant notes of black cherry, blackcurrant and spices, with hints of liquorice, cloves and cinnamon in the background. Soft and full on the palate, without appearing broad or denying its Alpine origins. You can't help but compare it to a complex Burgundy, its round tannins and wonderful depth and length round off the experience in a well-proportioned and highly elegant way. SUPERIORE.DE
"The 2020 Valtellina Superiore Inferno Ca' Guicciardi shows a little more ripeness, just a little, which is expressed with strawberry jam, wilted blue flowers, crushed slate and spicy pepper. The Inferno sub-region is known for its warmth, hence the name "Inferno". The mouthfeel is polished, lean and soft." Wine Advocate
"A lovely, harmonious red, expanding with silky finesse on the palate to reveal flavors of cherry coulis, warm fig and red licorice, with a sanguine thread of iron, smoke and spices. Long and supple, with good focus, though only medium-bodied in weight. Lightly chewy on the fragrant, herb-laced finish." Wine Spectator

“St. Valentin” Pinot Nero Riserva Alto Adige DOC 2021
Pinot Noir, which originates from France, has been cultivated in South Tyrol since 1850. The best sites, low yields, meticulous care and perfectionism in the cellar guarantee a fine, extremely sensual Pinot Noir with considerable ageing potential. Brilliant ruby-garnet colour. Delicious aromas of small berries, violets, cloves, smoke and vanilla. With age, the aroma gains interesting notes of porcini mushrooms and truffles. In the glass, the well-structured Pinot Nero Sanct Valentin shines with finesse, balance, spicy smoothness, fine tannins and a subtly integrated woody note. Pure seduction! SUPERIORE.DE

Bright ruby red colour, open-hearted notes of cherry, raspberry and violet, paired with green pepper and cloves. Delicate on the palate, with a nice tang. Delicate, fine tannins, vivaciously supported by a fresh acidity structure with subtle extract sweetness, round off this incredibly authentic and juicy Tuscan experience. SUPERIORE.DE
"The 2021 Chianti Classico is bright, floral and fruity, giving it great immediacy. Crushed flowers, cedar, tobacco and mint play with a core of vibrant Sangiovese fruit in this charming, medium-bodied offering from San Felice." Vinous
"A fresh and delicious Chianti Classico with a lightness and crispness. Sour cherries and light orange blossom. Light and beautiful." James Suckling
"The 2021 Chianti Classico proves to be a versatile wine and a fundamentally food-friendly choice with lots of purple and blue fruits with hints of fragrant wild roses. The wine has a medium weight and plenty of fresh acidity that pairs well with cream or butter ingredients." Wine Advocate
"Cranberries, strawberries and orange peel with fennel and sage and a mineral note of crushed rock can be found on the nose and are repeated on the palate, where they come together in an elegant balance with firm but polished tannins and lively acidity." Wine Enthusiast

“Praephylloxera” Friulano Friuli Colli Orientali DOC 2019
Antonio Bragato, born in Germany but with an absolute Friulian identity, joined forces 20 years ago with Gianni Maccari, who was cellar master at Livio Felluga for many years and founded his own winery Ronco della Rocca at the beginning of the millennium. Maccari, who has a degree in agronomy and Oenologist, is considered one of the best-trained viticultural experts in Friuli. The profound knowledge of his own 12 hectares of vineyards as well as the leased plots and the radical precision in the execution of every operation characterise the clear style and the reliable quality of the wines that Antonio Bragato creates there together with him.
From the 2019 vintage, Antonio Bragato's wine experiment enters a new era. Since then, the team has relied on an even more rigorous selection of the oldest vines from the coolest and best sites. The results of the "New Edition" can truly be seen and tasted. They are even more radical in complexity and finesse. We are pleased to be able to offer our customers the smallest editions of these wines, which confirm the many years of work and experience of the two quality fanatics!
Praephylloxera (literally: before phylloxera) comes from Friulano vines over 110 years old. Nutty-floral nose with notes of peach, rose petals, lime blossom, hawthorn, a hint of marzipan. Very dense with full soft body, elegant drinking flow. Great aromatic correspondence and length with fine acidity and light tannin on the finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"100% Tocai Friulano from up to 110-year-old vines with no roots. The mineral, well-founded bouquet reveals wonderful floral notes reminiscent of hawthorn and light flowers, delicately framed by ethereal notes, but also yellow stone fruit such as yellow peach compote and a touch of gooseberry. In the mouth it really explodes with a gigantic melt and then also shows delicate notes of white roses with fine acidity, seems to unite opposites, spicy final and you can literally feel the power and concentration of the old, rootless vines." Weinwisser
"Pleasant on the nose, fresh lemons, gooseberries, peach, hay, almonds, subtle marzipan. On the palate elegant with fine acidity, fresh fruit, lemons, gooseberries, fine spice and nice tannin on the finish. A versatile food companion that can still mature." Falstaff
"You could almost mistake this Friulano from old vines for a great Chardonnay from a warmer region (think low acidity). The chalky minerality and fine oak give structure and balance to this remarkable wine, the finish is long and complex with a hint of rose." James Suckling

“Revei” Pinot Nero Valle d’Aosta DOP 2020
Pinot Nero Revei, which means clock in the local dialect, is linked to the history of the medieval tower that dominates the vineyard in Aymavilles. The tower was once home to a reclusive clockmaker, whose profession brought back the theme of time and its value in nature and for mankind.
The mere 1,800 bottles (per vintage) of Revei are the result of great experience and patience. Time plays a fundamental role in its production, maturation and ageing. It begins with the harvest of optimally ripened grapes and ends with 18 months of refinement in 700 litre wooden barrels and subsequent bottle ageing in the winery's cellars. Brilliant ruby red colour. Fruity and beguiling nose of ripe red berries and a delicate hint of cocoa. Juicy, pleasantly acidic on the palate, with a fine structure and velvety tannins. Impressive depth and length! SUPERIORE.DE

“Sotto Casa” Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG 2020
The Nobile Riserva, a cru from the historic Sotto Casa vineyard, deserves a place in the list of the best wines, with delicate aromas of cherries and spices that set the mood for intense, flavoursome drinking pleasure. It is a powerful and complex wine, youthfully dense and balanced, with a silky texture and an abundance of tart wild berries, emphasised by salty minerals and spices. On the final, it flexes its tannic muscles, structuring and enveloping the entire palate, while a beguiling, acidic citrus note provides the contrast. The Sotto Casa is the only Nobile from Boscarelli that blends international grape varieties with Sangiovese. SUPERIORE.DE
"Dark ruby red with a violet shimmer. Balsamic on the nose, followed by roasted almonds and floral notes of jasmine. Hints of vanilla and strawberries on the palate, with lingering tannins." Falstaff
"Indulgent but savory aromas merge with decadent sweetness on the nose, as spices and pine needles swirl with cherry syrup, vanilla bean and candied orange peel. The palate is equally luxurious, developing the flavors of cherry, blackberry, dark chocolate and mint. Polished tannins create structure, while acid provides just enough of an edge." Wine Enthusiast
"The 2020 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva Sotto Casa first tempts the imagination with a burst of exotic spices before evolving with notes of mentholated black cherry, rosemary and cedar dust. It splashes across the palate, energetic and cool-toned in feel, with silken waves of mineral-doused wild berry fruits that add a slightly crunchy sensation toward the close. The 2020 leaves the palate drenched in primary concentration, structured and long yet still fresh. It comes across as atypical of the vintage in that its structure is balanced and perfectly harmonious with the fruit within. It's beautifully done." Vinous
"Black cherry, bark, cedar and orange peel aromas follow through to a medium body with juicy tannins that give a crunchy and lightly chewy texture. Some orange peel with cherry and berry undertones. Needs another two or three years to soften, but it’s already impressive and finely structured." James Suckling

Rosso Arcurìa Etna DOC 2019
Etna Rosso in light ruby and with a fine bouquet of raspberries, herbs, orange peel and flint. Firm, straightforward taste. Mineral hints corresponding to the terroir. Silky tannins and a fresh finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"Warm light red; fruity, fine ripeness, deep; juicy, fine tart attack, depth, then pronounced length with powerful tannin." Merum
"The 2019 Etna Rosso Arcuria is smoky and earthy in style, wafting up with vivid aromatics, featuring freshly picked strawberries, plum skins, rose hips and wet stone. This is texturally deep, silky-smooth and more savory than sweet, with mineral-infused red and hints of blue fruit, as well as balsam herbs that resonate toward the close. It finishes lightly structured with a minty freshness, as well as with a bitter tinge of cherry pits and spice. The 2019 Arcuria is so pretty today that it’s hard to recommend cellaring; yet with the balance on display here, the chances are that it will only get better over time." Vinous

"The 2019 Etna Rosso Feudo di Mezzo is dense and concentrated with volcanic tones of scorched earth and dark fruit. The wine has a bright primary side of crushed cherries and blueberries, and it fills out nicely across the palate thanks to the mid-weight texture of this supple fruit. Floral notes of rose and iris are also evident. This vintage has something to offer now, and it will offer even more for those who choose to wait." Wine Advocate

“Vigna Fracia” Valgella Valtellina Superiore DOCG 2019
The "Fracia" vineyard has belonged to Nino Negri since it was founded in 1897. It lies at the confluence of several alpine valleys and the vegetation in this area is almost Mediterranean with lavender and rosemary. The result is a wine that is flavoursome and flowery with a characteristic, spicy aroma.
Intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections. Complex aromas of dog rose and violets on the nose, which develop into spicy notes such as rosemary and lavender. Dense, rich and with well-structured tannins on the palate. The well-balanced and fresh acidity leads to a long, very flavoursome finish. An alpine red that is already a pleasure to drink, but its complexity and power will really come to the fore with further bottle ageing. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright, shiny ruby red colour. Elegant hints of honey, rosehip and strawberries on the nose, some sage, peach, cold smoke. Beautifully polished and fresh on the palate, elegant, slightly creamy fruit, delicately flowing, fine pressure on the finish." Falstaff
"Raspberries, damp earth, herbs and orange peel on the nose. Medium-bodied with dusty tannins and an attractive minerality. Firm and persistent. Drink or store." James Suckling
"The Nino Negri 2019 Valtellina Superiore Valgella Vigna Fracia shows a bright ruby red colour, and although the bouquet is not as expressive as some of its peers, it opens slowly with notes of cassis, dried orange peel and sweet nectarine. The bouquet is characterised by red berries, fruit and a hint of wild roses and mountain flowers. It is delicate and light in texture. This wine is packaged in a bottle with a greenish-grey label that reflects the slate soils of Valgella. Give it a little more time in the bottle." Wine Advocate
"Firm and chewy, this compact red opens in the glass, offering a tarry undertow, with flavors of baked cherry, medicinal herbs and white pepper, plus a touch of black licorice. Long and minerally on the finish." Wine Spectator

The eruption of 1614 is legendary in the history of Etna, as it lasted ten years, making it the longest recorded eruption of the active volcano to date. A very impressive and fitting name for Planeta's Etna series of equally impressive wines.

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2018
Amarone Classico is made from grapes grown in the vineyards of the classic Valpolicella area at the entrance to the Marano Valley. The drying process of the carefully selected grapes takes around 120 days. After fermentation, the wine matures for at least 3 years in wooden barrels.
Dark cherries, plums, smoke, mint, liquorice, sweet herbs and crushed rose petals swirl around in the glass as the wine gradually opens up. Lively and lively, it is characterised by an expressive and well-defined personality and seriousness. For all its depth, it is an almost weightless Amarone, built on finesse and elegance. SUPERIORE.DE
"Dark, bright ruby red with a subtly brightening rim. Fine wood on the nose, sweet cherry, juicy citrus fruit, very inviting and with fine floral nuances on the finish. Medium-bodied on the palate, shows good juiciness, violet flavour, surprisingly light-footed." Falstaff
"Inviting aromas of cherry jam, exotic spices, dried violets and cocoa powder swirl in the glass of this well-crafted Amarone. Rich and lush ,the wine is mouth filling but the tart red-berry and sour-plum flavors balance the wine along with crunchy acidity that leads to a savory and earthy finish." Wine Enthusiast
"Aromas of dried berries and pressed flowers follow through to a full-bodied palate with a relaxed, fruity mouthfeel at first. Then some solid tannins firm up the finish." James Suckling
"The 2018 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico opens slowly with a blend of dried cherries, wild herbs and crushed ashen stone. Its textures are silky and pure, with mineral underpinnings that excite the senses as spicy red fruits cascade across the palate. A salty flourish creates a distinctly savory style through the finish, as grippy tannins add youthful poise." Vinous

“Retus” Vinschgauer Sauvignon Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2019
The name "retus" comes from "Rhaetia" or "Raetia", the name of the Roman province. In Celtic, "reit" refers to a mountain village.
Bright straw green colour. Wild herbs, orange peel, green fruit and spices on the nose. Round and broad on the attack, then more straightforward and restrained in the centre, with enough of a salty edge and harmonious acidity to buffer the subtle fruit sweetness. The finish is long with flint and stone notes. Great Sauvignon Bianco with a refreshingly alpine character. SUPERIORE.DE
"Candied and cedar notes, a leafy character and a quince core. On the palate there’s complexity and concentration, with wet wool notes, a medium body and long, crisp acidity. Almonds in the finish." James Suckling

“Vigna S. Francesco” Cabernet Sauvignon Sicilia DOC 2018
A wonderfully concentrated and elegant wine that is already drinking excellently. On the nose, the typical varietal bouquet with light balsamic notes. Pleasantly straight and fine on the palate, silky and full of harmony. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright, elegant ruby red. In the nose precise of elderberries and cassis, noble note of green pepper and a hint of ivy, in the reverberation of cranberry jam and noble spice, multilayered. Balanced on the palate, with great play between fruit, spice and tannin, also very juicy, on anise in the finish, long and complex, very well done." Falstaff
"The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Vigna San Francesco is dusty and floral in character, with peppery herbs and wildflowers giving way to masses of crushed raspberry. This is silky and refined, communicating pure elegance from the start, with a wave of ripe red and black berries that wash across the palate, leaving fine-grained tannins to linger under an air of sweet violet and rose tones. It tapers off much fresher than anticipated, and also only lightly structured, as nuances of blueberry skin linger, along with a hint of balsam herbs." Vinous
