“Ettamiano 1876” Primitivo del Salento IGP 2020
The grapes for Ettamiano are harvested when slightly overripe, a trick that the famous winegrowers' co-operative likes to use with great flair. The variety should show as much of its origin as possible, which is why they rely on a short maturation period and only use French barriques that have been used several times.
Intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. At first sip, Ettamiano is a Primitivo that is characterised by its pleasantness, but at no time does it pander. The glass reveals hints of ripe but lively fruit, spicy notes of cinnamon, then cocoa and liquorice. The flavour is consistent and persistent, supported by a fresh and spicy note that keeps you coming back for more. Long finish. SUPERIORE.DE

“Rosé" Cuvée Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2023
The almost flat vineyards of Gries near Bolzano are characterised by sandy alluvial soils permeated by quartz porphyry. The Lagrein grapes, which predominate in this fresh cuvée, reach full ripeness here thanks to the heat-retaining properties of the Bolzano valley basin and thus gain their typical velvety softness. These deep red grapes are pressed with very short skin contact and surprise with fruity, fresh flavours of cherries combined with a hint of almonds. With its beautifully integrated acidity, this rosé goes particularly well with strong starters from South Tyrolean cuisine, fish dishes and summer-inspired dishes. SUPERIORE.DE

The volcanic soils of Monte di Colognola give Monte Ceriani a mineral framework, a symmetrical matrix of flint and phenol in which the fruit flesh is deeply embedded. White pears, almond cream, white peach and lime. A hint of finely ground pepper. The finest silvery streaks of acidity thread the whole into a glittering carpet of light. "At first the wine smelt a little bit of marzipan and grilled pineapple. It began to build, more and more aromatic.
