For more than 100 years and now in its fourth generation, Massolino has been writing wine history. Around Serralunga d'Alba, some of the most famous single-vineyard Barolos in the world are created.
With the acquisition of coveted vineyard sites, the co-founding of the consortium and the bottling of the region's first single-vineyard Barolo, the Massolino name took its place in the world of top wines in the 1960s. To this day, the family-run winery has succeeded in staying true to its traditional style while reflecting the facets of the Piedmontese terroir in its wines.
At Massolino, the noble Nebbiolo grape accounts for half of the total vineyard area. In addition, they also know how to bring out the best in the other grape varieties Dolcetto, Barbera, Chardonnay, Riesling and Moscato. (...)
