La Bella Estate (The Beautiful Summer) is named after a work by Cesare Pavese. Deep golden yellow in colour with an opulent aroma of candied fruit, nutmeg and vanilla. Warm and full on the palate, always emphasising the floral sweetness of the Muscat grape with an optimally balanced acidity.

This Moscato Passito is the result of over 20 years of experience. "Over time," explains the president of the company, Piero Quadrumolo, "we have managed to find an optimal balance with the aim of obtaining an aromatic wine with the clear varietal character of a Moscato that is not too broad or boring and also has good acidity." Today, just 15,000 bottles are bottled per vintage, most of which are delivered directly to the haute cuisine of Piedmont. SUPERIORE.DE

This extremely delicate Moscato, which was christened Kabir (the Great) in Arabic so as not to be overshadowed by the far more powerful Ben Ryé, never fails to surprise and delight. Elegant and balanced, beguiling scents of melon and orange peel, aromatic balance, sweetness and freshness on the palate. A delight with intensely flavoured cheeses and shortbread with white fruits. The grapes are harvested at the end of August when they are well ripe and then dried in 5 kg crates at 23⁰C in the fruit cellar. After about 40 days, when half of their weight has been lost, the grapes are pressed and the resulting must, which is particularly rich in sugar, ferments slowly at 18°C for over a month in stainless steel vats, where it remains until bottling.

Light golden yellow, fine bouquet of orange blossom, some quince, apricot and peach. Sparkling on the palate with surprisingly lively acidity, spreads nicely, in the long final again orange peel and some grapefruit. SUPERIORE.DE

The very rare Rosenmuskateller originally comes from Sicily and has been native to South Tyrol since the middle of the 19th century. Rosis is a floral and elegant wine, its grapes are hand-picked and air-dried. Bright ruby red in colour. A floral bouquet of roses, nutmeg and small red fruits. Ben Ryé - the great naturally sweet and world-famous white wine from Donnafugata. The grapes are harvested in mid-August and left to dry naturally for 20 to 30 days. In September, the later ripening grapes are harvested and freshly processed. The hand-picked raisined berries are added to the must in several stages during fermentation. Light orange yellow in colour. Overwhelming aromas of apricot, peach and orange peel. Creamy notes of passion fruit and peach on the palate with an impressive elegance and length. "The 2016 Alto Adige Baron Salvadori Baronesse Passito is a syrupy and sticky dessert wine with fragrant layers of candied orange peel, almond marzipan, sun-dried apricot and chestnut honey. The wine is aged in tonneaux for 12 months, but those characteristic notes of cinnamon and spice appear as distant afterthoughts and are evenly folded into the thick texture of the wine. This is a seriously delicious wine that is difficult to score because it stands so far apart in a group of peers. The intensity here is truly stratospheric. Only 3,000 precious bottles were made." Moscadello was originally the first wine from the Montalcino appellation, long before the triumphant rise of Brunello. Mastrojanni's Moscadello di Montalcino is a blend of late harvested Moscato, Malvasia di Candia and Sauvignon Bianco. The wine matures for two years in barriques and tonneaux. Intensely fragrant bouquet with plenty of power and character, aromas of candied fruit, honey and brown sugar. These notes are reproduced with every sip with impressively brilliant precision and astonishing freshness. Named after the ancient Roman wine festivals, Passito Vinalia is a sweet dessert wine that goes particularly well with South Tyrolean apple strudel. The strictly selected grapes, which are air-dried after the harvest, come from the sun-drenched vineyards on the slopes of Bolzano at 300 to 400 metres above sea level. They are gently pressed around 4 months after the harvest and then fermented in used French barriques.

Golden yellow with amber-coloured nuances, the nose is captivated by the aroma of ripe apricots, pineapple, sugar melons and peaches, as well as candied exotic fruits. The flavour is impressively opulent with a very refreshing and harmonious acidity. A masterpiece! SUPERIORE.DE
