The pure olive oil from the Biancolilla variety is produced using the Veronelli method - like all other olive oils from Planeta. Light yellow-green in colour, it has a mild aroma of ripe Mediterranean vegetables. The Nocellara del Belice region is located in the western province of Trapani in Sicily, where the traditional olive variety the same name grows. Planeta's pure olio from the green, fleshy fruit is produced using the Veronelli method and has a strong and pleasantly balanced flavour with hints of green peppers. Balduccio is made up of around 9,000 organically cultivated olive trees, all located on the picturesque Montalbano hills between Florence and Montecatini Terme, and an oil mill that is so popular with local farmers that the most popular dates for pressing between 15 October and 15 November have been fully booked on the waiting list since the summer. This is because Balduccio not only presses its own olives, but also makes its modern technology available to other olive producers. Over the last 20 years, Balduccio has gained recognition and respect as an oil mill among local producers. It is not only the customers who are impressed by the quality. The ambition to produce top-quality oils is also increasingly inspiring other olive growers.

And the truly excellent quality of the Balduccio extra virgin is no coincidence. The Montalbano terroir produces high-quality, aromatic olives. However, the transformation of the natural qualities into a clean, fruity olive oil typical of the terroir is only possible because Andreas März and his sons have been working for years on improving the quality of olive oil and consistently putting their findings into practice.

The Balduccio oil has a subtle aroma of green almonds, artichokes and fresh, green olives; in the mouth, thanks to the high Moraiolo content, it tastes strong and full-bodied, green-fruity and actually only subtly bitter; the best comes at the end: an impressive pungency, given by the extremely high polyphenol values of this vintage. Olio CampoCorto is the result of years of work and study. It is mainly produced from olives of the Frantoio variety, the most typical and characteristic variety of this region. The olive groves are located among the woods of Badia a Coltibuono in an unspoilt environment. Golden yellow colour with green reflections. It has an intense herbaceous aroma with notes of artichoke and aromatic herbs. The flavour is full of character, intense and lively with a spicy aftertaste. SUPERIORE.DE

A small part of the olive groves around Podere Albereto is reserved exclusively for the production of this very special oil, which is only bottled in very limited quantities (5,000 bottles). The colour of Albereto extra virgin olive oil is an intense emerald green. It has an intense, herbaceous fragrance with notes of asparagus and aromatic herbs such as tarragon and sage. The flavour is intense and strong, with a characteristic aftertaste reminiscent of the vegetables perceived by the nose. SUPERIORE.DE

Wonderful, single-variety organic olive oil made from 100% Coreggiolo from Tenuta Fontodi. Careful farming is the origin of this fine olive oil. 400 olive trees grow per hectare of olive grove and only 1,000 bottles are filled in 500 ml format. The olives are picked by hand and gently pressed on the same day to preserve their authentic freshness. The result is an olio that is rather restrained and delicately fruity in flavour, but still has an extraordinary complexity with herbal notes and distinct bitter tones. The fruit for this Dievole extra virgin olive oil comes from three areas of Chianti Classico: Castelnuovo Berardenga, Castellina and Gaiole. The Frantoio, Leccino and Moraiolo varieties form the basis for this characteristic, medium-bodied olio. The fruit is gently pressed mechanically just a few hours after harvesting. The result is an intensely fragrant oil with a complex flavour spectrum and a grassy, spicy finish.
