Organic White Wine

Carta d'Oro from predominantly Catarratto comes from autochthonous, organically cultivated vines in Patti Piccolo in Alcamo in the province of Trapani. Straw yellow in the glass. The Riff project is a co-operation between Alois Lageder and local winegrowers in Veneto, where the grapes also thrive in selected vineyard sites. On its label, the segments of stylised ammonites tell the story of the formation of the mountainous landscape on which the vines for the Pinot Gris Riff now stand: From the ocean with its coral reefs to the unique terroir, in which many fossils of former ocean dwellers can still be discovered today.

Bright light yellow with a greenish tinge. The aroma is delicately fruity, floral and mineral with delicate notes of tropical fruit. The flavour of Riff Pinot Gris is precise, lively and fresh, with a medium body and a harmonious finish. The grapes for Carlo Pellegrino's single-varietal Catarratto from certified organic cultivation come from the area around Trapani from chalky-sandy soils. Here, the high summer temperatures are tempered by strong summer winds. Straw yellow in colour with greenish reflections. Medium-bodied bouquet of orange blossom, sweet lemons and yellow apples. La Segreta Bianco is a 100% Grillo from the charming Ulmo region and the oldest winery in the Planeta family. Pale straw yellow in colour with green reflections.
