St. Michael-Eppan | The strong cooperative

The founding of the "Kellerei St. Michael-Eppan" in 1907 marked the beginning of an eventful success story. Today, the name stands for great wines and extraordinary quality. The 320 members of the winery work their vineyards in harmony with nature, their secret of success is the combination of decades of experience and the constant striving for perfection. The unique terroir, respectful handling of the grapes and careful processing guarantee unique wines full of character. In particular, the sites in and around Eppan offer ideal conditions for varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Gewürztraminer, Goldmuskateller and Pinot Noir. But there are also excellent small vineyards for structured red wines in lower locations and along the wine route. The mild and sunny climate forms the basis for the unique quality of the wines.

Today, St. Michael-Eppan is one of the most renowned wineries in South Tyrol and all of Italy - with many award-winning wines at home and abroad. Experts attribute finesse and elegance, profundity and longevity to the wines of the St. Michael-Eppan Winery. These ratings apply to the top line "Sanct Valentin" as well as to the super selections APPIUS and "The Wine Collection". With these, St. Michael-Eppan has made a name for itself around the globe.
