This characterful wine comes from grapes grown in the top Crivelli vineyard on calcareous, gravelly-sandy soils. The Sauvignon Blanc vines for this complex Riserva in small quantities (approx. 3,000 bottles) grow on grey porphyry and sandy-limestone rock flour in the "Kathreinerfelder" vineyard in Fiè allo Sciliar.
