The founder can look back on a proud career as one of the most influential critics in the wine world, including as editor of the "Piedmont Report", the first English-language magazine about Italian wine, and has quickly made a name for himself among Italian wineries and, of course, among his readers. His work brought him to the attention of Robert Parker, who made him his Italy specialist and even editor-in-chief of "The Wine Advocate" until 2013. Since leaving the magazine, he has published on his own portal "Vinous" and, together with his specialised team, expertly rates wines according to the well-known 100-point system.
