On the palate, Golden Delicious, pear and a certain creaminess, which in turn is flanked by salty notes. The De Ferrari brothers select their Riserva from the oldest vines on the estate's best plots. Ruby red in colour with a garnet hue. The wine opens discreetly with subtle but captivating hints of sage, leather and allspice. On the palate, it is supple and agile and feels confidently extracted, with firm, straightforward tannins, but not overdone. The Andreola family business in Col San Martino was founded in 1984 by Nazzareno Pola in the heart of the Valdobbiadene wine-growing region. Sàgana is an impressively varietal and at the same time very fresh Nero d'Avola, which comes from a single vineyard of the Cusumano winery Tenuta San Giacomo, located on the limestone cliffs of Butera in southern Sicily. Dark in colour in the glass, with an intense aroma of sour cherries, undergrowth, iodine and graphite.
