"The new wines from the Tuscan coast will give readers much pleasure. The 2020 vintage is somewhat uneven, but the best wines offer remarkable freshness and aromatic intensity, with less weight than is typical, not a bad thing for a region where wines can be a bit heavy. From what I've tasted so far, 2021 seems to be a much more evenly balanced vintage, with all the classic characteristics of textural richness that make the wines of coastal Tuscany so distinctive. Although this review focuses on the coast, I include notes on a handful of other wines from other inland appellations that are too small to be treated alone." Vinous
