“Stilèma” Fiano di Avellino Riserva DOCG 2019
"The Stilèma project was created as a testament to Antonio Mastroberardino's love for his land, his vines and his wines, and their original character." Piero Mastroberardino
The project aims to highlight the link between the vines, the wines and their territorial origins. The Mastroberardino family wants to recreate the style of winemaking of the indigenous grape varieties of Irpinia (Greco, Fiano and Aglianico) that took place between the late 1950s and early 1970s for the Taurasi and between 1970 and 1980 for the two white wines from Irpinia. It is the unmistakable style (the stilèma) of a family that has interpreted the natural heritage of its territory over generations and that today impressively emphasises the genuine character of the terroir, which by no means can be expressed through high concentration and intensity alone.
Pale straw yellow in colour with light green reflections. The 24 months of ageing on the lees of this exceptional Fiano creates a fascinating balance and complexity in the aroma profile with classic hints of flint, fine saltiness, the scent of fresh almonds, cedar wood and wild herbs. The flavour is lively with a pronounced mineral note, accompanied by an inspiring freshness that gives it great drinking flow and finesse. The precise and very long finish is also extremely convincing. SUPERIORE.DE
"Proof of the grape variety's ageing potential: Fresh hay and apple notes, including mint, are captivating on the nose; in the mouth, the wine is acidic and fresh with a fine salty minerality and a precise evolution towards citrus and apple notes." Vinum
"This slight hint of initial reduction fades to reveal soft citrus, exotic fruit, white peach and pear. The wine's flinty minerality is well defined. The fruit comes from four vineyards and the wine is mostly aged in stainless steel." Wine Advocate
"The 2019 Fiano di Avellino Riserva Stilema is aromatically intense, with a burst of ground ginger, cumin, incense and crushed green apples. It's a seductress, with a sweet burst of ripe fruit on the attack that is quickly contrasted by lemon zest and vibrant acidity. As well as being incredibly fresh, the 2019 is also incredibly long, finishing with a sense of liquid stone and a pleasant bitter note that calls me back to the glass for more." Vinous
"A fresh Fiano with aromas of honeysuckle, flint, oyster shells and green pear, which fade into a medium body, a creamy texture and a fruity finish. Slightly salty on the finish." James Suckling
"A masterful, intense and complex pure Fiano. Beautiful profile on the nose, lychee, a hint of pink grapefruit and pineapple, with a finish of herbs, thyme and a hint of jasmine. Dense, iodised mouthfeel, lovely depth, with a return of exotic fruit." Luca Gardini
"The nose is sweet yet structured, thoughtful and almost wistful, with notes of vanilla, pear, yellow apple, lemon, dried pineapple and almond paste. On the elegant, equally compelling palate, a more intense lemon element swirls around fresher pineapple notes and emerging melon flavours before a toasted almond finish follows. The bright acidity adds a subtle sizzle to the overall silky mouthfeel." Wine Enthusiast

“Linticlarus” Lagrein Riserva Alto Adige DOC 2021
Bright, radiant ruby colour with a drop of violet. Linticlarus Lagrein Riserva smells of ripe plum, smoke, tobacco, leather, mint, spices and liquorice. Opens up on the palate with sweet melting, lots of rich fruit, spans an elegant arc, the finish is currently characterised by the use of wood, but also beautiful juiciness, will mature well. Powerful and persistent through to the extended final, impresses with personality and class! SUPERIORE.DE
"Powerfully dark in the glass. The nose smells of blackberry, black chocolate, elderberry juice, liquorice and black coffee. Ample, fine-grained, beautifully ripe tannins. Nervous, animating acidity, extremely complex and elegant, long, juicy finish." Vinum
"Restrained and elegant, with smoky black plum and black cherry leading to a palate infused with elegant oak." Decanter
"The Linticlarus Lagrein Riserva 2021 is dark and brooding in the glass, with a mix of dusty dried flowers, a hint of blackberry and a touch of sage. The palate is flooded with soft textures and ripe wild berries, enlivened by zesty acidity. Spicy herbal notes swirl towards the end. The finish is long, structured and classically dry, with violet florals lingering on the inside. This is an intense Lagrein that is perfect for cellaring." Vinous
"Black cherries, black plums, violets and brewed tea on the nose. It is full-bodied, fleshy and compact, yet very fresh, with bright acidity, youthful black fruit and floral flavours. Mineral freshness on the finish." James Suckling

“Cavalli” Rosso Toscana IGT 2020
The top wine Cavalli Rosso comes from loose marl soils at an altitude of 400 metres facing south. It reveals a dark and lush fruit profile with intense blackberry, sour cherry, plum and graphite. On the palate, it has a high primary intensity and medium weight, finishing with a very crisp acidity. It is polished and deep, balanced and supple with plenty of fruity power, weight and length. SUPERIORE.DE
"The wine is rich and fully loaded with dark fruit flavors, but it never strays from a careful sense of balance. There is some ripe fruit with blackberry mostly, followed by spice and cured tobacco. It ages in a combination of oak, stainless steel and cement." Wine Advocate
"A modern and very well-made Toscana here showing excellent depth and complexity. Some plush cocoa powder to the minty blackberries, dark cherries, violets and hints of pine cone, black pepper and stones. Full-bodied and concentrated on the palate with firm, juicy tannins and a focused finish. Long and tangy." James Suckling
"The 2020 Tenuta degli Dei is wonderfully poised and vibrant. Cavalli's blend of (50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Petit Verdot and 15% Cabernet Franc) stands out for its precision. The heaviness of some previous years thankfully belongs to the past. Bright acid lift a core of blue/purplish fruit, lavender, menthol, licorice and espresso. The 2020 might be the best vintage yet for this wine." Vinous

Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2019 (BIO)
Beautifully weighted, the 2019 edition is full yet agile with enough structure to carry it over the next decade. Above all, it emphasises the freshness and balance of the vintage: the aromas unfold slowly, but are very floral, with cherry and thyme blossoms underscored by peppery notes. Crisp red plums and juicy cherries dominate the palate, with the youthful, grippy tannins needing a little time to integrate perfectly. SUPERIORE.DE
"It opens with a fruity flavour of red and blue fruits, with spicy notes reminiscent of cinnamon and cardamom. Dense and creamy in the mouth, very juicy, still a little grippy in the tannins, a modern Brunello that should be ready to drink in 1 to 2 years." Weinwisser
"Bright ruby red colour. Ripe blackberries, some undergrowth, dried oregano and loam on the nose. Great tension on the palate, juicy, dark fruit, tightly woven tannins and a precise final with pressure." Falstaff
"Deep to dark ruby red in colour. Deep, brooding and backward on the nose, but with real precision. Lots of juicy red fruit and impressive, fine-grained tannins. Still a little embryonic, but already hard to resist. Pure class." Jancis Robinson
"Pure and refined wine with lively raspberries, red cherries, rosehips and a hint of citrus blossom. Medium to full-bodied with firm but silky tannins. Excellent acid backbone. Enjoyable now, but give it another two to three years to develop." James Suckling
"Deep notes of dried black cherries meet cedar shavings and worn leather as the seductive Brunello di Montalcino 2019 slowly unfolds in the glass. It is surprisingly juicy and energising, with a pure blend of red fruits and inner flowers accompanied by fresh acidity. Fine tannins assert themselves on the finish as the 2019 takes on a youthful tension and pinches the cheeks, while tart cranberry notes fade into a youthful, crisp final." Vinous
"The certified organic Col d'Orcia 2019 Brunello di Montalcino shows ripe fruit, blackberry, earthy notes, liquorice and, generally speaking, a much bigger and riper fruit profile compared to its peers. It offers a full-bodied Brunello opulence that can be enjoyed in the short or medium term, and the wine delivers flavours of dried fruit such as plum and fig to finish. The tannins are velvety and contribute to the richness of the rather forward and immediate mouthfeel." Wine Advocate
"The 2019 is immediately inviting and expressive. It seduces with lovely tones of red rose, cherry and sweet thyme. Expansive and spacious, the palate unfolds fluidly with layers of delicious red plum and pomegranate. Hibiscus, rosewater and orange hide in every crevice. A brilliant demonstration of the flavourful juiciness of Sangiovese. Deceptively gentle at the start, fine sandy tannins build in a worthy crescendo." Decanter
"This densely packed version is resonant and persistent, with fine integration of all its components, though today it is compact and austere, revealing flavours of cherry, raspberry, rose, earth and minerals. Give it the benefit of the doubt." Wine Spectator
"Notes of marasca, geranium and eucalyptus on the nose. Juicy tannins on the palate, balsamic and floral notes, compact flavour and crispness." Luca Gardini

“La Court” Barbera Nizza Riserva DOCG 2017
Ruby red with violet reflections. Intense notes of sour cherry, wild berries, chocolate, undergrowth and coffee on the nose. Velvety, structured, full and rich on the palate of dark spices, candied cherries and cocoa, finishes juicy and long. SUPERIORE.DE
"The Michele Chiarlo 2017 Nizza Riserva La Court is a beautifully enriched and generous wine that adds ample volume and depth to the Barbera grape. This kitchen-friendly option shows the dark fruit (blackberry and plum) that goes well with most pasta or meat dishes. It also offers just enough acidity to get through any recipe with lots of cheese or cream." Wine Advocate
"Aromas of dark fruit, cedar and scorched earth lead the nose. The structured, balanced palate offers Marasca cherry, blackberry jam and liquorice alongside polished tannins." Wine Enthusiast
"The 2017 Nice LaCourt is soft, supple, rich and open, but not at all heavy. Raspberry jam, mocha, spices, new leather - all build as this juicy Nice unfolds its considerable appeal. The 2017 hits just the right notes. It's a great effort from the Chiarlo family." Vinous
"Forest floor and farmyard on the nose, lots of dark fruit and wild herbs on the palate. Good intensity and freshness with a touch of volatile acidity, not in a negative sense, which gives the wine personality." Decanter

“Vigna Oberkerschbaum” Sauvignon Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2021
In South Tyrol, the "Vigna" classification guarantees the origin of a single-vineyard wine. This Sauvignon is a selection of the best grapes from the Oberkerschbaum estate in Buchholz/Salorno at an altitude of around 800 metres. Thanks to the special microclimate, the ideal orientation and the challenging altitude, the Oberkerschbaum estate is one of the most exciting cru sites for South Tyrolean Sauvignon.
Intense straw yellow colour with delicate greenish reflections. Aromas of ripe citrus fruits, grapefruit and bergamot mingle with delicate scents of flint and nettle. This fruitiness continues on the palate - Oberkerschbaum is a Sauvignon of harmonious complexity which, despite its racy acidity, never seems too lean and completely convinces us with its aromatic length. SUPERIORE.DE
"Wildly unique, the 2021 Sauvignon Vigna Oberkerschbaum opens with a beguiling blend of rosemary, split pine and grapefruit zests, giving way to green melon. This is lifted and graceful, gliding across the palate with a saline-tinged blend of tart orchard fruits. A savory herbal thrust adds complexity toward the close. Mineral intense, this leaves the senses completely refreshed, finishing with medium length yet impactful. The Oberkerschbaum hails from a vineyard between 740 and 800 meters, and its high elevation comes through in spades." Vinous

“Fiore di Campo Gold” Cuvée Bianco Friuli Isonzo DOC 2019
"Bright straw yellow with green reflections. Compact on the nose, lots of fruit, blackcurrant, lemon and bergamot, with plenty of herbal spice behind it. Straightforward and precise on the palate, great grip, mouthwatering, salty, delicately melting, refreshing acidity, long, mineral final." Falstaff
"The 2019 Fiore di Campo (Gold Label) is remarkably pretty in the glass. It is delicate and floral, with crushed stones and lime zest complemented by ginger spices. On the palate, it is round and pleasantly sweet. Ripe fruit is surrounded by a bright acidity, while a hint of mint unfolds towards the end. Candied citrus and a salty note contrast on the final, while the 2019 retains fantastic energy but is also lightly structured. The balance is stunning, and while it is still enjoyable today, it has a bright future ahead of it." Vinous
"The wine has a soft texture that only Italian white wines from Friuli have. The special thing about the texture is that it feels creepingly full-bodied, but never heavy. In addition to the flavours of stone fruit and pastries, the wine has a lovely acidic freshness and salty mineral notes." Wine Advocate

“Giallo d’Arles” Greco di Tufo DOCG 2023
Bright, radiant golden yellow in colour. The aromas of this crus float weightlessly in the air and range from ripe banana, peach and marzipan to Amalfi lemons and quinces. The palate is creamy and surprisingly tannic for a white wine, with firm, crisp acidity and terrificcomplexity. Layer by layer, the components of this characterful white wine unfold into a refined potpourri that impressively demonstrates Luigi Moro's great class. A Greco di Tufo with huge ageing potential and, for us, like something from another planet. SUPERIORE.DE

"The youthful, shy Giallo D'Arles 2023 opens with a delicate, floral blend of young peaches, pears and a hint of spiced confectionery. It is silky-smooth yet light, with a flavoursome blend of white stone fruit and inner herbs that soothe the senses. Barbaresco DOCG 2021
Prunotto's Barbaresco shows a strong dose of Nebbiolo personality and opens with balanced notes of dried berries, liquorice, tar and blue flowers. The ensemble is delicate and fresh. What makes this wine so attractive is the fact that it offers such a clear and unadulterated view of the grape, which comes across particularly well in this very attractive drop. The finish is full of elegance and silk. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright ruby red with a brightening rim. Very fine nuances of redcurrants, raspberries and cranberries on the nose, some leather and floral notes of violets. Equally delicate fruit flavours on the palate, accompanied by elegant tannins and a long final with a fruity aftertaste." Falstaff

Deep ruby red colour, lush notes of cherries, strawberries and sweet oak spice, vanilla and black pepper. The Sangiovese gives the blend great freshness and is in perfect balance with the silky and soft tannins of the Merlot. Overall rich, but always elegant and with great persistence. A complex, excellently structured red of absolute Supertuscan quality. SUPERIORE.DE
"The Gianni Brunelli Le Chiuse di Sotto 2020 Amor Costante is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Sangiovese and offers a lovely richness with a medium body interwoven with blackberry, wild plum, spice and sweet tobacco. The softness and texture come from the Merlot, while the Sangiovese provides freshness and fresh cherry flavours. Only 2,360 bottles were produced." Wine Advocate
"The 2020 Amor Costante keeps the glass swirling as dried violets, stone dust and exotic spices accentuate an enticing blend of wild berries and red plums. This is velvety smooth with medium-bodied weight, ushering in textural waves of red and blue fruits offset by sour citrus tones and saline-tinged acidity. It finishes long and structured with fine-grained tannins and a tart resonance of currants and licorice, yet the 2020 remains surprisingly fresh through it all. Patience will be required, yet also rewarded. What a treat." Vinous

It also impresses with a silky, almost glycerine-like texture and a depth of ripe apples and pears that practically envelop the salty minerals that only emerge towards the end. The 2019 finishes elegant and long, leaving a subtle hint of lemony tension that lingers. The 2019 Misco Riserva is a real pleasure." Vinous

"Deeper and earthier in flavour, it combines floral notes with baked apple, citrus peel and a hint of almond. “Fayé" Rosso Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2018
Intense garnet red colour with black-violet hues. Open, very complex aroma of blackcurrant, raspberry, blackberry, cherry and plum, accompanied by a hint of pepper and cinnamon. On the palate, it is an elegant, dry wine that leads into the remarkable Riserva-level finish with its extract sweetness, tannins and a fine liquorice note. SUPERIORE.DE
"Firm and quite deep aroma of ripe, predominantly black berries with floral nuances, a little Mediterranean herbs, restrained barrel notes and a hint of pepper and juniper. Taut, tart, juicy dark fruit, slightly smoky notes, relatively present, yet very fine and rather crumbly tannins, persistent on the palate, some nutty and a hint of tobacco wood spice, hints of liquorice in the background, elegant style despite its power, fine peppery and juniper tones, mineral notes, very good, firm, tart, juicy and finely spicy finish." Wein-plus
"A beguiling blend of black raspberries, peppery herbs, cedar and exotic spices makes the 2018 Rosso Faye impossible to ignore. It's soft and supple, with bracing acidity that gives an energised feel, even as masses of ripe red and blue fruit flood the palate with youthful concentration. Sweet tannins frame the finish, which tapers off surprisingly juicy and fresh with a saline note and a lingering hint of lavender. This expressive vintage of Rosso Faye may not be as long-lived as the great vintages, but it will offer a broad and open drinking window." Vinous
"A vivid red, bright on the palate and with good concentration to the flavors of ripe black and red currant fruit, with fragrant notes of oolong tea, bay leaf and sassafras. Shows taut tannins enmeshed in the detailed flavor profile, while a zesty streak of milled pepper drives the finish." Wine Spectator
"A classic from the promising Faedo winery. Cru Paradisot, 50 per cent Cabernet Sauvignon, with Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Lagrein. Small black fruits on the nose, blueberry and blackberry, a hint of thyme and nutmeg, balsamic finish. Dense mouthfeel, iodised tannins, lingering finish." Luca Gardini

“Piaggia” Carmignano Riserva DOCG 2020
Piaggia Riserva is pure elegance in a bottle: clear ruby red colour, almost impenetrable, very consistent. Raspberry compote, dried orange peel, roses, exotic spices and a hint of cocoa on the deep bouquet. Silky and refined on the palate, with notes of violets, ripe red and black fruit in rapid succession. Its lively acidity retains exceptional finesse, although the primary fruit slowly asserts itself. Finishes long with a layer of sweet tannins and balsamic cherry flavours. Its finesse and balance are already astonishing at a young age, and the best will only come in a few years. SUPERIORE.DE
"Intense ruby red colour with a violet hue. Expressive nose, lots of ripe plums, some grilled peppers, subtly leathery. Blackberry and dark chocolate on the palate, crisp acidity, rich tannins, builds pressure, lingering final." Falstaff
"The 2020 Carmignano Riserva Piaggia impresses with its understated power, unfolding with a delicate blend of dried roses and black cherries, complemented by cedar spice and hints of dark chocolate. On the palate, it is pure elegance, seamless and silky, with a depth of red and blue fruit flavours that are lapped up by vibrant acidity. A web of fine tannins envelops the senses with youthful serenity as the 2020 finishes incredibly long and colourful, lingering notes of white pepper, liquorice and violet flowers. This is a dark and radiant beauty. The 2020 is a real head-turner." Vinous

“Perlé" Metodo Classico Trento DOC 2017 brut
A terrificvintage sparkling wine that is only produced in the best years, when the upper hills around Trento have a fantastic Chardonnay harvest. Over four years of ageing on the lees gives the Perlé its shimmering golden colour, creamy texture and fine, never-ending perlage. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright straw yellow with light golden reflections. The nose initially smells of cold butter, a little roasted hazelnut, with candied lemon peel and a hint of sea salt. Shows effervescent perlage and a clear centre on the palate, then opens up elegantly and finely, compact, with a light blood orange final, solid every year." Falstaff
"The Brut Perlé Trento 2017 combines lively ripe apples and pears with enriching notes of raw almonds and white flowers. It opens with a pretty inner sweetness contrasted by salty minerals that add a pleasing crunch, while ripe orchard fruits give way to a hint of hazelnut. Despite its size, the 2017 is remarkably fresh, finishing with candied ginger and a tart hint of Granny Smith." Vinous
"White nougat with toasted almonds and fresh sponge cake dominate the nose of this always-reliable Italian stalwart from the Alpine heights of Trentino. Made from estate-grown fruit only, this is an elegant sparkler with its vivid, altitude-induced freshness countered by subtle richness and supported by fine mousse. Purity, briskness, real depth and poise: you just want to take another sip." Decanter
"An iconic perlé, symbolising the ambition and prospects of Italian sparkling wines, first produced in 1971. Pure apple, notes of hawthorn and roasted dried fruit, savoury drink, with a fruity-amber return and beautiful persistence." Luca Gardini

“Exultet” Fiano di Avellino DOCG 2023
Bright yellow with greenish reflections. Fascinatingly fresh bouquet of white smoke, minerals and peach with a hint of lime. The palate reveals the true class and intensity of this Fiano: unrivalled by many of its peers, a silky philharmonic concert of green apple, lime, yellow flowers and exotic fruits opens up here. The fresh acidity, mineral notes and a purity that effortlessly elevates the wine to an exceptional position that is very difficult to find in southern Italy. An almost masterful Fiano that is hard to beat in terms of naturalness, balance and class. SUPERIORE.DE
"Sparkling, intense straw yellow with greenish reflections. Fragrant, inviting bouquet of lemon zest, pineapple, elderflower and a hint of marjoram. Silky and juicy on the palate, with refreshing acidity, salty and mineral flavours through to the finish." Falstaff
"The Exultet 2023 is stunning, flavoursome and remarkably pure. An array of Asian pears, ground ginger, dusty dried flowers and wet stone make up its inviting bouquet. It has a soft texture with a balancing hint of minerals and spice. Crisp fruit flavours unfold on the palate. The finish is long and exciting, while nuances of young peach and minty herbs gradually fade away. The 2023 is still a baby today, but it is positioned for a long and beautiful maturation." Vinous

“Bauda” Nizza Riserva DOCG 2017
Only in the best vintages are some plots of Olim Bauda's vineyards in the Nizza DOCG selected for the Riserva Bauda, in order to press one of the greatest wines of the entire appellation, which is still very young. The wait was clearly worth it. Strong purple red. Complex bouquet of red fruits with an almost haptic texture and a terrific harmony of fruit, typicity and acidity that perfectly combines the winemaker's long-proven Barbera expertise and the class of the Nizza DOCG. Not only for us an absolute archetype for grape variety and origin. SUPERIORE.DE
"The 2017 Nizza Riserva Bauda shows just how compelling top-flight Barbera can be in Asti. Blueberry jam, herbs, menthol, licorice and mocha infuse the 2017 with tons of depth. The Bauda is a rich, heady wine, but it also avoids the excess heaviness that can sometimes be an issue in this region. There's a ton of richness, and yet the 2017 is not at all overdone. Give this a few years in bottle and then enjoy over the following decade. In a word: exquisite." Vinous

“Contrada Dafara Galluzzo” Rosso Etna DOC 2021 (BIO)
The Nerello grapes (100% Mascalese) come from the northern slope of Etna from plots in the Contrada Dafara Galluzzo in the Rovittello district. Opens in a delicate ruby red colour, then fine, heady, spicy on the nose, revealing a pretty basket of red fruits after a few minutes of aeration. Initially closed on the palate, only gradually revealing its flavour facets, then medium pressure in the middle, with a very fine structure and almost Burgundian finesse and elegance. The finish is harmonious and of excellent length. SUPERIORE.DE
"Quite light red; shrubby-fruity, appealing; subtle jammy fruit, sweetness, quite tart, not dry tannin." Merum
"Here is a submission from Benanti, which comes from a rather unknown contrada. The 2021 Etna Rosso Contrada Dafara Galluzzo is located in Castiglione di Sicilia on the north side of the volcano. The wine shows a medium-light appearance with spicy volcanic notes of ash and bonfire, surrounded by delicate fruit, sour cherry and cassis. The wine has fine tannins with dusty impressions resulting from the volcanic environment. This gives the wine an approachable personality." Wine Advocate
"Aromatic and bright with notes of orange peel and watermelon, but also some cherry. Medium-bodied, with firm and medium-soft tannins that are long and flattering." James Suckling
"The 2021 Etna Rosso Contrada Dafara Galluzzo is exotic and floral, with hints of ash stone and dusty rose that fade into dried black cherries. Silky and smooth, it flows across the palate with a pure blend of red and blue fruits, fuelled by juicy acidity. The final is structured and long, yet perfumed, allowing violet and lavender tones to fade away on a bed of fine-grained tannins. The Dafara Galluzzo is a real charmer for which further ageing is recommended." Vinous
"The bouquet is restrainedly sweet, with dried cherries and fresh and preserved oranges supported by vanilla and baking spice notes, while herbs and earth provide a savoury balance. The blend of cherries, oranges and baking spices continues on the palate, like a warm pastry, before a tart, salty and peppery finish." Wine Enthusiast
"Nose of wild flowers and red cherries. Dense, silky-textured palate. Plenty of tannins but fine, adding a chalky grip to the finish." Decanter

“Mathias” Sauvignon Bianco Riserva Alto Adige DOC 2021
The Sauvignon Blanc vines for this complex Riserva in small quantities (approx. 3,000 bottles) grow on grey porphyry and sandy-limestone rock flour in the "Kathreinerfelder" vineyard in Fiè allo Sciliar. Lemon yellow in colour with warm reflections. Complex bouquet of flint, preserved lemon, passion fruit, ripe apricot and melon. On the palate, the top Sauvignon of the house presents itself with depth, precision, minerality and a long, ripe finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright golden yellow with a sparkling centre. Intense flavours of pineapple, papaya, gooseberry and green pepper on the nose, with a hint of white pepper. Direct on the palate, with beautiful juiciness and a mineral note, fresh until the long final." Falstaff
"The sweetly scented 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Riserva Mathias opens with candied citrus, minty herbal tones and traces of sweet smoke. It sweeps across the palate with lifted textures and ripe tropical melon tones guided by zesty acidity. This finishes with admirable length yet wildly fresh. Chamomile hints leave the mouth watering for more." Vinous
"Beautiful nose with notes of glazed pineapple, grapefruit pith, honeysuckle spices and flowers. Medium- to full-bodied, structured and tense with vivid acidity. Rich and concentrated fruit that comes with freshness and mineral tension on the mid-palate. Flavorful and long." James Suckling

Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2022
Here is a big, rich Rosso that is harmonious and impressive in all its components. The bouquet alternates between dried cherries and a fine tobacco note. The palate is taut and precise, in the style of the house, its body is supported by powerful tannins that make it an ideal and refined accompaniment to Tuscan cuisine. SUPERIORE.DE
"Brilliant dark ruby colour with a delicate garnet-red rim. Memorable nose of juicy cherry, with medicinal notes and some leather. Soft and supple on the palate, sweet and fruity with firm tannins and above-average length." Falstaff
"The Rosso di Montalcino 2022 is exotic. The bouquet leaps from the glass, blending medicinal cherries, mint, pine and blood orange. Seamless and silky, it soothes the senses with its soft textures of opulent ripe fruit balanced by a tactile minerality. The residual acidity gives it an amazing, juicy freshness on the finish, while the 2022 finishes gently tannic, powerful and long. It's very different from a typical Le Potazzine, ripe and intense, but I still love it." Vinous
"It’s a notably firm, earthy and serious style, with dark, balsamic-tinged fruit, bran, sundried tomato and powerful tannins that need a year or two to soften. No hurry to drink this." Decanter

“Cresasso” Corvina Veronese IGT 2018
Cresasso - an exquisite, single-varietal Corvina. Intense aromas of dark fruit, rose petals and spices. Rich, concentrated fruit on the palate, silky, with a remarkable inner sweetness. Distinctive and sensual. SUPERIORE.DE
"Notes of plum sauce and raspberry ripple across the palate, underscored by loamy earth and mineral accents in this medium-bodied red, which is firmed by lightly chewy tannins. A well-meshed version, with hints of warm spices, cocoa powder and medicinal herbs on the finish." Wine Spectator
"Dark and intense, the 2018 Corvina Veronese Cresasso smolders up with an array of crushed ashen stone, dried flowers, licorice and dusty black currants. It sweeps across the palate with textures of pure silk, elegant and refined, as a wave of polished red and black fruits washes across. A collection of crunchy minerals amasses toward the close. Violet inner florals and hints of lavender drive the finish, as a tinge of sour citrus adds contrast and sweet tannins resonate. I expect the 2018 Cresasso to enjoy a long and broad drinking window. Bravo." Vinous

Bright ruby red colour, open-hearted notes of cherry, raspberry and violet, paired with green pepper and cloves. Delicate on the palate, with a nice tang. Delicate, fine tannins, vivaciously supported by a fresh acidity structure with subtle extract sweetness, round off this incredibly authentic and juicy Tuscan experience. SUPERIORE.DE
"The 2021 Chianti Classico is bright, floral and fruity, giving it great immediacy. Crushed flowers, cedar, tobacco and mint play with a core of vibrant Sangiovese fruit in this charming, medium-bodied offering from San Felice." Vinous
"A fresh and delicious Chianti Classico with a lightness and crispness. Sour cherries and light orange blossom. Light and beautiful." James Suckling
"The 2021 Chianti Classico proves to be a versatile wine and a fundamentally food-friendly choice with lots of purple and blue fruits with hints of fragrant wild roses. The wine has a medium weight and plenty of fresh acidity that pairs well with cream or butter ingredients." Wine Advocate
"Cranberries, strawberries and orange peel with fennel and sage and a mineral note of crushed rock can be found on the nose and are repeated on the palate, where they come together in an elegant balance with firm but polished tannins and lively acidity." Wine Enthusiast

Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG 2017
The Chianti Classico Gran Selezione is made from 100% Sangiovese, the grapes come from vineyards with the best sites. The Gran Selezione with its dark ruby red colour is impressive in the glass. The nose is explosive with small ripe berries, hints of rose petals, lavender and thyme. Warm and full on the palate, spicy and very authentic. This wine is reminiscent of the Greve in Chianti sub-region with cool afternoon winds blowing over wild and largely wooded areas. This is what Tuscany tastes like! SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright, intense ruby with a fine garnet rim. Opens with notes of dried cherries and tomatoes, seems a bit restrained. On the palate much accentuated acidity, shows fresh, crisp cherry fruit, some rough tannin." Falstaff
"Approachable for its fluid texture, this red is austere in flavor, displaying cherry, almond and tobacco flavors. Firm, with fine length and a resonant, racy finish." Wine Spectator
"Very floral on the nose with lavender and lilacs, as well as black cherries. Medium-bodied with tight tannins and tangy acidity. Flavorful finish. It’s linear, driven and lightly chewy. Very typical." James Suckling
"The 2017 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione is positively stellar. Cedar, rose petal, pipe tobacco, anise, blood orange and new leather give the 2017 striking aromatic presence to balance the natural richness of the year. Statuesque and resonant in the glass, the Gran Selezione is a real standout - a true winner." Vinous

“Case Via” Syrah Toscana IGT 2018 (BIO)
Strong dark ruby. Pepper and spice accents, aromas of ripe red and dark fruits and a slightly animal note characterise the precise aroma. The perfect balance between tannin, silky elements and the acidity guarantee a characterful and pithy taste. SUPERIORE.DE
"Dark ruby red with a drop of violet. In the nose still considerably reductive, needs a lot of time to come out of the glass, then notes of ripe plums and violets, delicate ink. On the palate very full-bodied, with dark fruit and lots of melting, spreads out richly, currently still very young, needs time." Falstaff
"The 2018 Syrah Case Via is ample and generous in the glass. Super-ripe blackberry, chocolate, spice, leather and cloves fill out the layers effortlessly. This deep, fleshy Syrah has much to offer. The 2018 was done with fully destemmed fruit and spent 18 months in French oak, 30% new." Vinous
"With a mere 3,000 bottles made, the organic Fontodi 2018 Syrah Case Via is ripe, concentrated and extremely savory in terms of its aromas. This vintage reveals loads of bacon fat and musky leather that you often get with Syrah in the warmest growing seasons. Chewing tobacco, riding boots, potting soil and dark fruit all rise heavily from the bouquet. There are two sides to the mouthfeel: Although it is moderate in length, the wine shows lots of soft texture on the mid-palate and closes quickly with a 15% alcohol content." Wine Advocate
"Black fruit, soy sauce, spices and dried herbs on the nose. It’s full-bodied with firm tannins. Structured and racy. Juicy and smoky with a flavorful, tannic finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink in 2024 when the tannins will have softened slightly." James Suckling
