Vintage 2023

The famous Gewürztraminer "Kleinstein" from Cantina Bolzano is a nutty, fragrant wine with complex aromas of ripe fruit, dried flowers and a hint of rosewood. Its flavour is reminiscent of honeydew melon and mountain herbs with a slight hint of citrus. Pio Cesares Gavi, an elite white wine from Piedmont, enchants with its light and lively fruit character, is fresh, juicy and has an excellent, delicate flavour. Excellent for light summer cuisine, with fish and rice dishes and white meat, but also a real pleasure to drink on its own. SUPERIORE.DE

Magred (formerly Magré) is an extravagant white, reminiscent of a Grand Cru from Burgundy. Brilliant straw yellow in colour. The exotic bouquet of pineapple, lime and coconut is fascinating, with a hint of toasted oak, caramel and a salty note. Medium-bodied, with a certain creaminess, long and very multi-faceted. Rosa Mara is undoubtedly one of the favourite wines of Mattia Vezzola, who is dedicated to reinterpreting a historic vinification method that has been practised in this region since the 18th century. This Chiaretto is produced using the traditional "a lacrima" method, in which the grapes are pressed gently and carefully so that they begin to "cry". To achieve the perfect colour, the tone of the rosato is constantly monitored during production. Speaking of perfect: with this wine, Mattia proves how masterfully he has mastered this process and brought it to absolute perfection.

Pale pink in colour with a fine mother-of-pearl hue. The bouquet of probably the most famous Chiaretto from Lake Garda is fascinatingly inviting and stimulating with notes of vineyard peach, cherry stones, dried herbs and a hint of grapefruit. On the palate, it fulfils all expectations in terms of its class and juiciness, structure and harmonious texture. Salty minerals provide balance, while ripe fruit trees cascade upwards. The grapes for the Majé come mainly from the Garaxin hill above the village of Pogli at an altitude of around 250 metres. The vineyard is terraced and laid out with stone walls (known as Majé in Ligurian dialect) and the clayey soil is rich in fossilised micro- and macrofauna. Bright straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. Intense yet delicate varietal bouquet of flowers, yellow peach and notes of aromatic Mediterranean maquis. Pinot Blanc Lepus (Latin for field hare) in light, bright straw yellow with green reflections. Wonderful aromas of fresh bread, dried field flowers, apple, peach and a hint of almonds. On the palate, its distinctive personality is accompanied by exciting fruit, structure and harmonious acidity. The 5-month maturation on the fine lees gives Lepus additional complexity and fullness. Scalabrone presents itself generously every year, but also incredibly fresh. It shows ripe strawberries with a hint of sweet cream, tropical kiwi and lime. It washes over the palate with lightness, carrying ripe red fruit, a hint of melon and a savoury minerality. The finish is long and flanked by lively acidity and salty minerals. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah is perfectly balanced and makes this flavoursome rosato one of the most vibrant in the appellation every year. SUPERIORE.DE

Pinot Grigio has been at home in the Isonzo for 140 years now; with the necessary sensitivity, it develops a great deal of elegance and structure and can almost be called autochthonous here. It is not surprising that Alvaro Pecorari has taken this grape variety to his heart. A finesse-rich white with a floral bouquet and a fine peach note. The Nocellara del Belice region is located in the western province of Trapani in Sicily, where the traditional olive variety the same name grows.
