For years, we have been asked by our customers in November whether we are planning any "black promotions" and we have always declined with thanks. As you probably know, almost all retailers have been participating more or less successfully in this Black Friday discount battle for years.
This year is and will be (somewhat) different. The crises at home and on the world stage, the rather tired economy and the all too understandable worries of many have put a damper on consumer sentiment worldwide. Yet consumption is not a bad thing in itself. Wine consumption is all about enjoyment and socialising. And in grey and dark times, the enjoyment of selected wines (always in moderation, of course ;) can brighten the mood in many cases!
As we have been thinking positively for over 22 years and our love of wine, winemakers and, last but not least, you, our customers, has always encouraged us, we have christened this beautiful week in November "White Week" for the first time. It's a response, so to speak, to gloomy times and the nebulous offers that come with them. And in keeping with the first snow, around 40 of our finest wines are now presented in brilliant white and at daylight-friendly prices.
It pays to be quick, as some wines are only available in small quantities. The white prices are valid from 25.11. - 30.11.2024.
