The name Pecchia comes from the honeybees that sting the berries in search of sugar. Pecchia Gran Selezione has an enormous intensity in its aromas and flavours, but also remains incredibly refined. Black cherry, plum, leather, liquorice and spice develop effortlessly in the glass. Pecchia is a beautiful and extremely elegant wine with a firm backbone and delicate layers of fruit and spice. A successful transformation of a Burgundian Pinot Noir with all the attributes of the ideal altitude of the Langhe. Barolo Ornato is a great wine every year. With its wild herbs, minerals and ferrous notes, it captures the true character of Serralunga.
