Sofi Rosso is a cuvée made mainly from Lagrein and a small proportion of Merlot from vineyards between 230 and 350 metres above sea level. It has a strong garnet red colour and aromas reminiscent of ripe red fruit and violets. Fruity and fleshy on the palate, with spicy notes on the finish that make it easy to drink. SUPERIORE.DE

Emilio Rotolo's Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso draws you into the glass with its deep, peppery black raspberry flavours, complemented by pretty violet and lavender tones. Wrapping the palate in a cloak of dark, ripe, textured fruit, it is incredibly elegant and polished, but also tangy. A layer of sweet tannins frames the expression and caresses the cheeks, while citrus fruit and a hint of spice linger. This is a very nice wine that will benefit from a slight chill. SUPERIORE.DE

The single-varietal Pandolfo matures for 9 months, 70% in steel tanks and 30% in Slovenian oak barrels, before maturing for at least 3 months in the bottle. The result is a dark ruby red colour in the glass. On the nose, it seduces with an aromatic bouquet reminiscent of cherries, liquorice, raspberries and spices. The "I Giganti" line, with its three wines, represents Contini's top collection. In white, rosé and red, they pay homage to the large statues that were discovered in the 1970s in the archaeological site of Mont'e Prama, just 2 km from the Cabras pond. They were farmers working the fields with their ploughs, bringing to light the precious treasures of the past. These sandstone figures were called "giants" because of their considerable size. They represent brave warriors, symbols of strength and courage.

I Giganti Rosa is an exciting cuvée of Nieddera and Cannonau. Delicate, elegant pink with peach-coloured reflections. Delicate and fruity on the nose, reminiscent of fresh roses with notes of citrus and raspberries. Produced using the appassimento or Amarone method, this Valpolicella has a rich ruby-violet colour. The nose has compact notes of ripe cherries, blackberries, some cloves, elderberries and liquorice, with subtle notes of chocolate in the background. Silky texture with an abundance of sweet fruit, balanced by salty minerals and savoury spices. A hint of sour tangerine and citrus adds further depth. A Vermentino di Gallura with a strong personality from the DOCG of the same name, which is located in Sardinia between the provinces of Sassari and Nuoro.
