Brigaldara's Ripasso is created by the secondary fermentation of Valpolicella wine on the pomace of Amarone della Valpolicella. The contact between the Valpolicella wine and the Amarone marc, which is still rich in sugar, triggers a new fermentation. Bright ruby red colour. Bright and cheerful with aromas reminiscent of dried cherry, plum, pear and apricot. This wine shows plenty of bright fruit definition with subtle hints of tobacco, spice and rose petal. The finish is smooth, polished and soft in tannin structure. Very structured and balanced, gaining complexity with further bottle ageing. SUPERIORE.DE

This masterful Vernaccia matures for 4 years in small Caratello barrels, whose natural shrinkage is never topped up so that the yeast flora, which is very characteristic of this Vernaccia, forms on the surface and not only produces the characteristic flavours, but also gives it its name.

Tenuta Missoj is a small winery in Mizzole with just 3.5 hectares of vineyards and is owned by the Campagnola family. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 200 metres on a well-ventilated and exposed hill, where the grapes can reach perfect and complete ripeness. The new prestige wine Valpolicella Ripasso "Tenuta di Missoj" comes from these soils, which already impressively showcased the typical characteristics of the appellation in the 2019 debut vintage.

Under the name Askos, Li Veli summarises a project in which long-forgotten, indigenous grape varieties are rediscovered and cultivated on the ideal terroir selected for them. The red Susumaniello grape is said to originate from the nearby Dalmatian coast and is one of the most exciting grape varieties in Puglia today, even though it is rarely vinified as a single variety.

The Susumaniello Askos is a solid red wine with a rich bouquet of red cherries, plums, dark spices and red earth. These warm flavours combine with a medium intensity and full, round fruit to create an extroverted style that is both soft and pleasantly fruity. Tradition meets modernity - very successful! After a year of bottle ageing in the cellar, Feudi's famous Greco "Cutizzi" is labelled Riserva. Intense, straw-yellow in colour, it has a complex bouquet with alternating scents of melon and pineapple and spicy notes of camomile, vanilla and nutmeg. Groppello gentile is a grape with tightly packed berries, small seeds and a very thin and fragile skin. It is certainly the most famous red wine grape on the Riviera del Garda and was already cultivated by the Romans in the Valtènesi.
