Orion is a very special Primitivo, always fresh and with remarkable persistence. The Croatina grapes for this finely sparkling Oltrepò Pavese classic come from the south-west side of Cascina San Carlo at an altitude of about 250 metres. As the name Sasyr suggests, this wine is a blend of Sangiovese and Syrah. Only 15 per cent of the Sangiovese matures for six months in large oak barrels, the rest comes from stainless steel.
