Metodo Classico Chiaro di Bolle matures on the lees for 18 months. Bright, pale straw yellow in colour. A Blanc de Noir made from 100% Sangiovese with an elegant verticality of citrus fruit, with a hint of fresh flowers and bread crust that play around the delicate bouquet. The Moscato Giallo is dry and matured for 5 months on the fine lees and has a golden yellow colour. It is an aromatic wine, with notes of citrus fruits, white peaches, lemon balm and elderberry, combined with a hint of nutmeg and sweet spices. Light ruby colour. Rich bouquet of red cherry, strawberry, chocolate and violet. Generous and lively on the palate of rhubarb, strawberry cake and sour cherry, the fruit is beautifully concentrated and full. The nobly knitted tannin structure leads this multi-layered and very serious Sangiovese into a charming, mineral finish. Roero Arneis is also known as Barolo Bianco, which is entirely true for this excellent white wine from Neve's noble forge. Bruna Giacosa's Arneis in particular is a great example of a Roero wine that surpasses the normality of the appellation by far and at the same time has a great sense of inner freshness and complexity.

The vines for Camigliano's Brunello di Montalcino grow in a warm and sun-drenched corner of Tuscany, and the warm ripeness of the fruit is a testament to the place. Compared to its competitors, it offers a more powerful bouquet with a dark and rich fruit. Flavours of blackcurrant, raspberry and boysenberry are underpinned by woody wild herbs, menthol and graphite notes in this distinctive red wine. Expressive, it shows some powerful tannins flexing their muscles on the striking finish. It is authentic every year, but even more convincing is its still unbeatable price. SUPERIORE.DE

The Nebbiolo grapes for Matteo's entry-level Barolo (formerly blue label) come from his three vineyards Serralunga d'Alba, La Morra and Verduno. Bright garnet red colour. Precisely balanced bouquet of wild berries, rose petals and beautiful herbal spice. Bright acidity on the palate, perfectly integrated tannins and beautifully emphasised primary fruit. Already very accessible when young, it will nevertheless gain in complexity over the years. Excellent value! SUPERIORE.DE

The garnet-red Pinot Noir Monticol smells of blackberry and forest fruits, with fine tobacco flavours and coffee in the background. Delicate and well-balanced on the palate, silky tannins, long and slightly mineral on the finish. A great, elegant Pinot Noir. SUPERIORE.DE

Convincing selection of "La Luna e i Falò" from grapes harvested exclusively in the DOCG area of Nizza Monferrato. Its colour is deep red and as dense as its bouquet of wild berries, plums and tobacco with a fine toasty vanilla note from the barrique. The soft, spicy taste lingers long and with great elegance. Feudi di San Gregorio's DUBL project was born in 2004 from an awareness of the great richness of the autochthonous vines of the Irpinia region and the desire to open up new horizons for them: as a Metodo Classico Spumante or by means of the famous Méthode Champenoise. An advisor was quickly found for this - none other than Anselme Selosse, who is known for his champagnes and his feeling for the particularities of the vines and vineyards.
