    Terra di Lavoro 2021 is still far too young to make a final judgement, but this much is already clear: with sufficient aeration, it continues to develop rapidly and offers new, wonderful impressions with every new sip.

    Notes of red berries, aromatic hints of fresh and balsamic undergrowth. Plump and full-bodied on the palate, with a very firm fruit centre and a wonderful correspondence with the beautifully layered bouquet. Its structure and all the aromatic components, its fine mineral vein and its present tannin profile indicate a wonderful ageing period. As it progresses into the final, it is already characterised by noble balsamic notes, a wonderful fruitiness and beautiful persistence. 2021 will be one of the really great Terra if it is given enough time for further refinement in the bottle!     "The Terra di Lavoro 2021 is intense and yet youthfully backward. It exudes a complex aroma of dried violets, ashen stones, sage, cedar shavings and blackberries, lightened by a hint of camphor. It's silky smooth, almost seamless on the palate, with surprising lift and a savoury core of red and black fruits that penetrate deeply and stain the palate with primary concentration. A touch of lively acidity keeps the freshness going, but the end result is characterised by tannic structure and tension. Deep, bitter berry fruit and liquorice tones leave a sensation that presses against the cheek. The 2021 is a powerful and dense Terra di Lavoro that will pay off in the cellar.
