Davide Rosso's Barolo is a great entry-level wine and provides a good introduction to the distinct flavour profile that the two single-vineyard Barolo Cerretta and Serra also exhibit. Crushed flowers, sweet pipe tobacco, dried cherry and cedar blossom effortlessly from the glass. Barolo Cerretta is a dense, concentrated and energetic expression of Nebbiolo.
