    Bionzo is a vineyard site in Costigliole d'Asti planted with vines that are 80 years old or more. La Spinetta's top Barbera is a bold wine that offers generous fruit, but then carefully pulls back to show elegance and complexity. The vibrant character of the fruit shines brightly, as does the softness and textural richness. Dried plum, blackberry and sweet cherry are supported by baking spice, earth and cedar.
