This is why I will dedicate this special wine to my grandchildren Alessia and Stefano. From now on, it will carry their names." Luciano Sandrone on his intention to rename his world-famous Barolo Cannubi Boschis "Aleste" in 2013.

This Barolo is in every respect a masterpiece of Luciano Sandrone. Not only historical product but also only Cru of the house from the famous area Cannubi in Barolo. The Sandrone family lost 25% of their fruit production in this challenging harvest. The wine offers fragrant notes of wild cherry and cassis with smoke, crushed stone and candied orange peel.
