Barolo La Serra emerges from the glass with a playful bouquet of dark red fruits, tar, smoke, liquorice, spices and new leather. The high-toned notes of rose petals, typical of this site near La Morra, are complemented by subtle strawberry and raspberry notes, resulting in this wonderfully elegant and subtle overall package, an attractive, supremely elegant Barolo that is hard to beat for finesse, purity and length.
