Compared to Branu, Limizzani is somewhat lighter and more summery, but also shows the classic Gallura character from north-east Sardinia. The pure Vermentino Meri is stylish and crisp. Wonderful notes of lemon, honey, orange, pear and apple on the nose. Fresh and lively, but at the same time full and intense. The grapes are cooled in the vineyard immediately after harvest and are protected from oxidation - this allows them to retain their best possible flavour and gives the wine a richer, more complex bouquet.
