"An elegant, medium to full-bodied red wine with a dark blend of blackcurrant and black plum flavours that are fresh and concentrated. With subtle details of star anise, espresso, iron, violets and smoke snaking through the fruit like a fragrant rope, with plastic tannins firming up the finish." Wine Spectator

“Korem” Bovale Isola dei Nuraghi IGT 2020 · MAGNUM in OWC
Korem is a wine that perfectly interprets the Argiolas family philosophy: Innovation with deep respect for Sardinian tradition. A wine born from the desire to enhance and perfect the Bovale vine. It is refined in Korem by the addition of Carignano and Cannonau, two other traditional Sardinian grape varieties.
Korem shines in deep ruby red from the glass. Intense aromas of black cherry, sandalwood and lavender on the nose. Velvety, full-bodied, warm and round in the mouth. A refined top wine that impressively reflects the great potential of the family winery. SUPERIORE.DE

"Scorched earth blows off to reveal depths of licorice, crushed blackberries and a dusting of cocoa as the 2019 Korem smolders up from the glass. This is silky yet sleek, with cooling acidity and saline minerals up front. Zesty acidity enlivens its tart wild berry fruit. A web of fine tannins wraps the palate in youthful poise as the 2019 finishes structured and long with a mocha tinge elevated by suggestions of sour citrus. This is going to be an exciting vintage of Korem to follow." Vinous

“Turriga” Isola dei Nuraghi IGT 2020
In 1991, Turriga was one of the first bottled wines ever to be exported from the island. Turriga has a 100% Sardinian soul - the famous blend of four red autochthonous grape varieties was once created by the famous OenologistGiacomo Tachis and is continued today by his "heir" Mariano Murru, technical director and Oenologist at Argiolas. The DNA of this exceptional wine sounds as simple as it is perfect: its refined blend of grape varieties gives it its unique structure, roundness, fullness, fruit and a perfectly balanced portion of tannins.
Mariano goes into raptures and describes his top wine as follows: "It has a deep ruby red colour and an enveloping taste of almost spherical softness, with tannins of great finesse that support and accompany the drink. The lively fruit is supported by a balanced acidity and spiciness that refreshes the palate and prolongs an indescribable finish of rare elegance."
We have loved the elegant bouquet of plums, the opulent dark fruit, the finely balanced vanilla note and the subtle hint of tobacco for decades. Excellently structured and long-lasting on the finish. A masterpiece every year! SUPERIORE.DE
"A rich and layered red wine with lots of berry, cedar, chocolate and bark character. It is medium to full-bodied with a tight centre and a flavourful finish. It starts intense and then finishes very fine and concentrated. Better in three or four years, but already great now." James Suckling

Vernaccia di Oristano Antico Gregori Riserva was not only named dessert wine of the year in Gambero Rosso 2021 (1976 vintage), but was also bottled in this 1979 vintage edition. Nonetheless, or perhaps precisely because of this, it is, as always, a breathtaking wine that leaves nothing to be desired in terms of intensity, maturity and depth! SUPERIORE.DE
"Lots of nutty undertones with dried fruit, chocolate and aged orange peel aromas and flavors. Hints of dried mushrooms and a touch of volatility, just enough to enhance its character and add some brightness and tension to the dry and refined palate. Characterful and long. Impressive condition." James Suckling
"A unique Vernaccia di Oristano from a winery that has written its own history. A refined, everlasting method that starts from a base vintage and includes lots that are a hundred years old. Apricot in syrup, almond, turmeric and ginger on the nose. The flavour is salty, fruity, spicy and restrained." Luca Gardini

"I love the flavours of liquorice and herbs alongside chocolate cherries and plums. There's also a hint of vanilla and praline. It's creamy, slightly chewy and full-bodied, with berry-like tannins and a long and wonderfully smooth finish. Makes you want more." James Suckling
"Dark cherry, blueberry, followed by a hint of ink and graphite, classic aromatic garrigue herbs with fine and juicy tannins." Decanter

“Cerdena” Vermentino di Sardegna DOC 2021 · 6 bottles in OWC
Bright golden yellow colour and a creamy bouquet of exotic fruits, banana and almond. The fruit is finely balanced with the barrique tones. Soft, warm and dense on the palate, with wonderful freshness, structure and suppleness. Good ageing potential. SUPERIORE.DE
"Very minerally profile for a vermentino. On the nose are notes of brooms, salted peaches, pineapple and seaweed with a peaty touch. The attack is super savory, with a dense and weighted palate, a medium body and refreshing acidity. The toasted finish is integrated, with complex notes of cheese and candied fruit. A classy wine." “Turriga 30° DIALOGO ADAGIO limited edition” Isola dei Nuraghi IGT 2018 · MAGNUM in OWC
To mark the 30th anniversary of this iconic red wine from Sardinia, Argiolas has joined forces with the Sardinian creative studio Pretziada to curate an exhibition that artistically honours the origins and history of Turriga and the various disciplines of artisanal excellence on the island. This special edition "Dialogo Adagio" was also created in a limited edition of 1,000 magnum bottles, accompanied by a special print of the curated artwork.
In 1991, Turriga was one of the first bottled wines ever to be exported from the island. Turriga has a 100% Sardinian soul - the famous blend of the four indigenous grape varieties Cannonau, Carignano, Bovale Sardo and Malvasia Nera was once created by the famous OenologistGiacomo Tachis and is continued today by his "heir" Mariano Murru, technical director and Oenologist at Argiolas. The DNA of this exceptional wine sounds as simple as it is perfect: the Cannonau base gives structure, the Carignano the roundness and fullness, the Bovale the richness of the fruit and the Malvasia provides the well-balanced portion of tannins.
Mariano goes into raptures and describes the current anniversary vintage as follows: "It has a deep ruby red colour and an enveloping taste of almost spherical softness, with tannins of great finesse that support and accompany the drink. The lively fruit is supported by a balanced acidity and spiciness that refreshes the palate and prolongs an indescribable finish of rare elegance."
Bravo, Mariano! We have loved the elegant bouquet of plums, the opulent dark fruit, the finely balanced vanilla note and the subtle hint of tobacco for decades. Excellently structured and long-lasting on the finish. A masterpiece every year! SUPERIORE.DE
"The 2018 Turriga tempts the imagination with a distinctly minty freshness before deepening and darkening with depths of black currant, balsamic spice and cocoa. This is elegance personified, seamlessly silky yet with a bitter tinge of tart wild berries and sour citrus to balance, all guided by brisk acidity. Its minerality comes through in the long and structured finish, leaving the palate saturated with primary concentration. Residual acidity maintains unbelievable freshness. The 2018 is the most exciting young Turriga that I’ve tasted. This is not a beast but a well-muscled and refined dancer." Vinous
"Complex and subtle flavours of blackberries, brambles, cloves and perfume. Full-bodied with tannins that are round and rather soft, but still have a good structure. It is long and very flavourful, but at the same time restrained. Another three or four years should take it to another level. Try it after 2025." James Suckling

"A rich and layered red wine with lots of berry, cedar, chocolate and bark character. It is medium to full-bodied with a tight centre and a flavourful finish. It starts intense and then finishes very fine and concentrated. Better in three or four years, but already great now." James Suckling
