Alta Mora Rosso is a blend of fruit from the Verzella, Solicchiata, Feudo di Mezzo and Guardiola vineyards, which lie between 650 and 900 metres above sea level. Light, brightening garnet colour, very clear bouquet with pronounced fresh fruit notes of berries, rhubarb and mocha. Elegant on the palate with well-balanced power, supple tannins, juicy, persistent and long. Finishes with a beautiful tension and ends with lingering notes of dried strawberries and citrus fruits. The delicious Salealto consists of Insolia, Zibibbo and Grillo and was matured for approx. 10 months on the fine lees in stainless steel. Deep golden yellow in colour with green reflections. Open nose with hints of beeswax, yellow flowers, acacia, red apple and green pepper. Very refreshing on the palate, low acidity, a fine saline note and wonderful fruit flavours. Sàgana is an impressively varietal and at the same time very fresh Nero d'Avola, which comes from a single vineyard of the Cusumano winery Tenuta San Giacomo, located on the limestone cliffs of Butera in southern Sicily. Dark in colour in the glass, with an intense aroma of sour cherries, undergrowth, iodine and graphite. Very powerful and full-bodied on the palate, with velvety tannins and a long, slightly nutty finish. A highly respectable Nero d'Avola that needs a year or two in the cellar to show its best side.
