Here is a fairly new single-vineyard wine, similar in style to Santo Spirito, but with an "autumnal" component. Light ruby red in colour, with a nose of gravel, vanilla and a subtle hint of mint, plus some cranberry, cherry, nutmeg and mocha. Fresh and exciting on the palate with a sweet and sour component and a delicately bitter vein. Compact tannin that certainly deserves a few more years in the bottle. "The 2022 Etna Rosso Moganazzi is floral and airy, with hints of candy spices and chalk dust that fade into dried black cherries. The wine is round and supple, with a lavender-coloured mix of red and blue fruits, all lapped up by lively acidity. The grippy tannins emerge on the final as the 2022 tapers long and perfumed. A hint of violet candy emphasises the experience wonderfully." Vinous
