“Sgarzon” Teroldego Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2021 (BIO) · MAGNUM in gift box
Sgarzon is a single vineyard, hardly more than a kilometre from Morei as the crow flies, but here the Noce has deposited more sand in the upper soil layers, the plot is more open and thus less protected from cold winds. The grapes ripen about a week later. Teroldego Sgarzon is fabulous, filigree and yet full of richness and energy from the attack to the final. The bouquet - an exciting mix of dark fruits, tobacco, flowers, liquorice, mint and minerals. Very clear, pure and clean on the palate. SUPERIORE.DE
"The Teroldego Sgarzon 2021 is an elegant beauty. Roses and cloves complement bright cherries and strawberries. It is silky through and through, balancing sweet red fruits and acidity for a perfectly harmonious red wine. The Sgarzon finishes remarkably fresh yet powerful and long, with a framework of gentle tannins and hints of liquorice and minerals that linger. The 2021 is possibly the finest interpretation of the Sgarzon to date." Vinous
"Engagingly fresh nose with white pepper, stems, blue fruit, longyan and some fine geraniums. Really crunchy and fresh on the palate with a linear medium body and pure dark cherry fruit. Chalky, firm tannins round it off before a pure-fruit finish. Long and succulent." James Suckling

“Morei” Teroldego Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2021 (BIO) · MAGNUM in gift box
The Teroldego from Foradori are all a great experience. Elisabetta presses highly interesting wines from the autochthonous grape variety from the foot of the Dolomites. And they do so purely organically and partly in amphorae.
Morei (dark in Trentino dialect) is an original red wine, true to the terroir, and at the same time of irresistible elegance and finesse. Warm, dense and mineral like the soil on which it grows. Morei is protected from the cold north winds by the nearby steep rock faces. The rock stores heat during the day, which radiates to the vineyard at night. The soil here is very stony, therefore relatively warm, dense, dark, mineral, like the eponymous wine Morei Teroldego. The average age of the vines (30 years) also contributes to its depth of character. SUPERIORE.DE
"The 2021 Teroldego Morei is intense in the glass. Exotic spices and dark, dusty flowers offset crushed stone and dried cherry notes. The palate is flooded with ripe red fruits and mineral notes driven by zesty acidity. The grippy tannins assert themselves on the final, allowing purple flowers and clove notes to live on within. A touch of sour citrus perfectly underscores the experience." Vinous
"This is so lively, blooming with such purity of red and blue fruit, with hints of fresh violets, savory herbs, white pepper and savory, citrus undertones. Medium- to full-bodied, juicy and vibrant with crunchy, very fine tannins and a structured, chalky backbone to it. Crushed stones. So much life and energy here with stunning acidity and a lingering, savory finish." James Suckling

“Carménère di San Leonardo” Rosso Dolomiti IGT 2018
The Carménère grape, which is hardly ever found in Italy and is normally found in the Médoc, is reinterpreted in a masterly way at Tenuta San Leonardo. Deep, dark ruby red, with a broad-shouldered bouquet of dark fruit and very harmonious spice. The barely noticeable acidity makes it round on the palate, silky smooth and extremely long and elegant. With this single-varietal red, too, the winery impressively demonstrates its lone class in the region. SUPERIORE.DE
"This medium- to full-bodied red feels almost effortlessly integrated, with fine-grained tannins and an underlying tar-tinged minerality framing woven flavors of ripe black currant, herbed black olive, ground coffee and loamy earth. Long, creamy finish." Wine Spectator
"The 2018 Carménère is darkly floral and intense, displaying mentholated herbs, peppery florals, blackberries and mint. This is pure elegance on the palate, soothingly soft and expressive, with ripe red and black fruits underscored by savory mineral tones and vibrant acidity that maintains a lovely energy throughout. It finishes remarkably fresh with a gentle tug of tannins, leaving licorice and violet inner florals to fade. The 2018 is a darling, impressing on its elegance and grace. There was no 2017 produced due to the low quantities of the vintage." Vinous
"This unique and delicious 100% Carmenère from the mountains of Alto Adige opens with aromas of dark cherry, black plum and cassis. As the wine opens it offers notes of black tea, dried mountain herbs and tobacco. The palate showcases the structure of the grape with opulent fruit that is hemmed in by ripe tannins, finishing with notes of baking spice and bright acidity." Wine Enthusiast
"Black cherries, cigar box, haw fruit, oriental herbs, black pepper, roasted red chili pepper and tapenade on the nose. A hint of savory cocoa powder, too. Juicy and very fresh on the medium-bodied palate with firm, fresh tannins and a long, peppery finish. Racy, cool and energetic. Very drinkable." James Suckling

“Renaissance” Pinot Nero Riserva Alto Adige DOC 2019
Bright, medium ruby colour with a brightening rim. Pinot Nero Renaissance Riserva opens smoky in the glass, with fine aromas of wild strawberries, blackberries and sage. On the palate, it soothes with its soft textures, which are enriched by salty, mineral tones and tart wild berry fruits. Very polished tannins, complex and multi-layered with further aeration, yet highly aristocratic. SUPERIORE.DE
"Sparkling, medium-dense ruby colour with a light rim. Opens with smoky, spicy components, then lots of raspberry, some pomegranate, exciting. Spreads out on the palate with lots of juicy fruit, raspberry and sour cherries, fine-meshed, dense ruby, spreads out for a long time, good tension." Falstaff
"The 2019 Riserva Pinot Noir Renaissance is extremely bright and focused, with a beautiful bouquet that shows elements of roses, wild berries, blood orange, crushed slate, smoke and camphor ash. The flavours are outstanding and the wine continues on the palate with medium intensity. Only 3,000 bottles were produced." Wine Advocate
"The 2019 Pinot Noir Riserva Renaissance is decidedly savoury, with a spicy blend of dried cherries accented by ground ginger, cloves and grilled herbs. It glides effortlessly across the palate, silky and round, with lively acidity and mineral tones giving way to tart red and black fruits. The finish is medium-long and slightly tannic. A hint of sour citrus gradually fades." Vinous

The Teroldego from Foradori are all a great experience. Elisabetta makes extremely interesting wines from the autochthonous grape variety from the foot of the Dolomites. And they are purely organic and partly also in amphorae.
Morei (dark in the Trentino dialect) is an original red wine that is true to its terroir and yet irresistibly elegant and refined. Warm, dense and mineral like the soil on which it grows. Morei is protected from cold northerly winds by the nearby, abruptly rising rock faces. The rock stores heat during the day, which radiates to the vineyard at night. The soil here is very stony and therefore relatively warm, dense, dark and mineralised, just like the Morei Teroldego wine of the same name. The average age of the vines (30 years) also contributes to its depth of character. SUPERIORE.DE
"There's an accessible feel to this open-knit, medium- to full-bodied red, showing good integration of the racy acidity and sinewy tannins with flavors of pureed blackberry, dried mint and black tea leaf, singed orange peel and milled white pepper. Enjoy this today or with short-term cellaring." Wine Spectator
"A beguiling blend of black raspberries, exotic spices, leather straps, cocoa and crushed stones makes the 2022 Teroldego Morei impossible to ignore. It's juicy and fresh, with a fine structure, crisp wild berries and zesty acidity that keeps the energy remarkably high. Tactile mineral tones add a pleasing crunch, while notes of white pepper and pomegranate linger over a bed of gently grippy tannins. The Morei 2022 seems more immediate than previous vintages, but its balance cannot be denied. The purity alone is fascinating." Vinous
"Purple red in the glass. Lively fruit on the nose, with bright raspberry and blackcurrant flavours, wrapped in aromatic herbs. The palate reveals crisp, integrated acidity and lightly framed tannins. Delicious and so fresh. Made from organically and biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification." James Suckling

“Sirmian 50 anni” Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC 2021 · MAGNUM in OWC
Anniversary edition: Top-class Pinot Bianco from the South Tyrolean Wine Route, more precisely from the exposed Sirmian vineyard, where the Pinot Bianco finds its ideal location and an optimal microclimate. Every year it is of remarkable quality. Clear and sparkling straw yellow in the glass, with an intense bouquet of light flowers, green apple, redcurrants and a hint of sage and nutmeg. Harmonious, powerful and persistent on the palate, with a full flavour typical of the grape variety and a beautiful melting, mineral finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"The Pinot Bianco Sirmian 2021 has a bouquet of sweet floral scents, freshly cut green apples and ginger. On the palate, it is round and soothing, with a lively acidity and lime nuances that enliven the ripe fruit of the orchard. The 2021 is wonderfully fresh and balanced, finishing with commendable length and subtle spice." Vinous
"A fresh, mineral-driven white, with a pleasing tension and fine knit to the flavors of patisserie apple, pear and blanched almond. Offers accents of honeycomb, chamomile, lemon peel and ground ginger on the long and creamy finish." Wine Spectator
"Bright, intense straw yellow colour. Opens on the nose with ripe apple and melon, underpinned by spicy notes of meadow herbs and hay. Filling in the mouth, with beautiful pressure on the palate, rich fruit through to the long finish." Falstaff
"It's chewy with dried apple and mango and some lemon zest. Also dried peaches. Full-bodied with multi-layered fruit and fresh acidity. Also some yoghurt character." James Suckling
"This bottle bears a special 50th anniversary label, making it one of the oldest representatives of this grape variety in the region. The Nals Margreid 2021 Alto Adige Pinot Bianco Sirmian draws its fruit from over 15 hectares of high-altitude vineyards, where this grape variety shows its best results. A beautiful expression with a mouthful that is so precise and sharp that the wine tastes almost spicy. Grapefruit, Granny Smith apple and crisp pear are offset by a light spiciness and saffron. There's also a hint of white peppercorn." Wine Advocate
"Creamy and smooth with plenty of lemon zest, nutty baked apple, ripe apricot and saffron, emphasised by the emerging strong minerality and focused saline finish." Decanter
"One of the clearest Pinot Blancs in Alto Adige, flavoured with the crisp craftsmanship that is at home in Nalles. Vineyards at the foot of the winery, 7 months in barrels and steel tanks, cedar peel and hawthorn on the nose. Very taut, lively, spicy and with an excellent finish on the palate." Luca Gardini

“Perlé" Metodo Classico Trento DOC 2017 brut · MAGNUM
A terrificvintage sparkling wine that is only produced in the best years, when the upper hills around Trento have a fantastic Chardonnay harvest. Over four years of ageing on the lees gives the Perlé its shimmering golden colour, creamy texture and fine, never-ending perlage. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright straw yellow with light golden reflections. The nose initially smells of cold butter, a little roasted hazelnut, with candied lemon peel and a hint of sea salt. Shows effervescent perlage and a clear centre on the palate, then opens up elegantly and finely, compact, with a light blood orange final, solid every year." Falstaff
"The Brut Perlé Trento 2017 combines lively ripe apples and pears with enriching notes of raw almonds and white flowers. It opens with a pretty inner sweetness contrasted by salty minerals that add a pleasing crunch, while ripe orchard fruits give way to a hint of hazelnut. Despite its size, the 2017 is remarkably fresh, finishing with candied ginger and a tart hint of Granny Smith." Vinous
"White nougat with toasted almonds and fresh sponge cake dominate the nose of this always-reliable Italian stalwart from the Alpine heights of Trentino. Made from estate-grown fruit only, this is an elegant sparkler with its vivid, altitude-induced freshness countered by subtle richness and supported by fine mousse. Purity, briskness, real depth and poise: you just want to take another sip." Decanter
"An iconic perlé, symbolising the ambition and prospects of Italian sparkling wines, first produced in 1971. Pure apple, notes of hawthorn and roasted dried fruit, savoury drink, with a fruity-amber return and beautiful persistence." Luca Gardini

“Mauritius” Lagrein/Merlot Alto Adige DOC 2019 · MAGNUM in gift box
Dark garnet red with ruby reflections. Complex bouquet of wild berries, underlaid with a spicy and cocoa note. On the palate again dark fruit, some smoke and tar, the fine-meshed tannin gives a wonderful structure, underlaid with a delicate wood spice in the finish. SUPERIORE.DE
"Here's an interesting blend of two grapes, both with soft tannins. The Cantina Produttori Bolzano 2019 Alto Adige Lagrein Merlot Mauritius reveals impenetrable concentration with bold aromas of black fruit, baked cherry, leather, tilled earth and sweet tobacco. The wine is large in scope, with power and richness that need to be considered when pairing this wine with food. You might go with breaded veal chops or porchetta stuffed with fennel. In other words, rich foods with some sweetness to complement the grapes. Mauritius is fermented in oak and aged in barrique and botte for one year." Wine Advocate

“Vigna Rachtl” Sauvignon Bianco Riserva Alto Adige DOC 2020
Sauvignon Bianco Rachtl comes from a small micro-location of just 0.4 hectares. It gets its fine flint and graphite nose from the porphyry soils near Unteraicha in the municipality of Völs. Very subtle on the palate with fine saline acidity, fresh fruit and a long-lasting finish. If you can call one of the 2,000 bottles of this vintage your own, you can count yourself lucky! SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright, pale straw yellow with light green notes. Opens with notes of sage and flint, green asparagus and some smoke. Salty on the palate, shows very good tension, finely elaborated fruit, lingers beautifully." Falstaff
"The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc Riserva Rachtl shows aromas of candied lemon peel, preserved pineapple and a hint of ripe apricot. The wine has a medium-bodied texture with a certain heaviness of the warm vintage, but also a much-needed acidity. Only 2,000 bottles were produced." Wine Advocate

"Elegant and dense, charming and powerful, sophisticated, exciting and highly individual ... An unmistakable cuvée of the great white varieties with Storage potential." Michael Graf Goëss-Enzenberg, Weingut Manincor
Sophie, an aristocratic Chardonnay with small parts of Viognier, offers a clean, fresh bouquet with notes of apple blossom, citrus fruit and brioche. On the palate, too, the precise and classic style with balanced elegance and class. SUPERIORE.DE
"Finesse and complexity characterise this wine. Elegant on the nose, with very juicy fruit of quince, ripe apples and apricots. Light-footed and dancing on the palate, the stony minerality is enveloped by a fine silkiness, incredibly stimulating with a juicy finish." Weinwisser
"Polished, somewhat nutty and a hint of roasted aroma with fine yellow-fruity flavours, a little herbs and hints of fennel and root vegetables. Fairly tightly knit, tart, finely juicy fruit, nutty, smoky and again hinted at roasted tones, fine acidity and moderate grip, persistent on the palate, quite concentrated, mineral in the background, fennel and delicately herbal tones in the background, a little lemon peel, hints of pepper, good depth, despite all the power also has something playful, very good, firm and almost cool finish." Wein-Plus
"Intense straw yellow with golden nuances. First opens slowly on the nose, then more clearly on tropical fruits, with a herbal spice and a touch of vanilla on the finish. Great presence and harmony between freshness and juiciness on the palate." Falstaff
"A tangy framework of tangerine acidity and salty minerality combines with flavours of persimmon, almond skin, dried white cherry, thyme and beeswax. Shows a biting liveliness and good concentration through the lingering, well-seasoned finish." Wine Spectator
"This is a very precise Chardonnay with cooked apples, apple pie, caramel and toasted oak. It's full and intense, but very precise and concentrated. Just the right amount of toasted oak. Notes of grapefruit with a slightly bitter finish." James Suckling

“Löwengang Historischer gemischter Satz” Rosso Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2020 (BIO)
The vineyards of the Löwengang estate in Margreid have been owned by the Lageder family since 1934. Here, on the rubble cone of ancient dolomite rock below steep cliffs, grape varieties such as Carménère and Cabernet find ideal conditions in the mild climate of the valley.
Löwengang emphasises the unique DNA of the grapes from which this wine is made. Parts of the vineyard are around 145 years old and the vines are among the oldest vineyards in South Tyrol. Count Melchiori, the former owner, planted the plots in Margreid with Cabernet around 1875. At least that's what he thought - because a large proportion of the vines planted at that time were actually Carménère vines. Through intensive study of the vineyard and extensive genetic analyses, the Alois Lageder winery discovered that the vineyard was in fact a mixed set of Carménère, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. In order to emphasise the special origin of the grapes, the wine will be offered as the "Löwengang Historischer gemischter Satz" from the 2018 vintage onwards.
Complex, concentrated bouquet with fruity hints of cherries and blackcurrants, spicy aromas of tobacco, floral notes of violets and mint and a very elegant woody note. Powerful, straightforward attack, concentrated and dense on the palate. Long-lasting, fresh and fruity final with powerful but by no means aggressive tannins. SUPERIORE.DE
"The plot planted with Carmenère, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon in the heart of the Löwengang vineyard is one of the oldest vineyards in South Tyrol with vines up to 140 years old. Wild nose with lots of vegetal freshness, mint and floral notes, light-footed and slender on the palate, but with a strong structure, crisp acidity, leafy and earthy notes, raspberry and blackberry jelly, candied violets, tomato spice, traces of dark chocolate, youthfully rough and impetuous tannins, stubborn and exciting." Weinwisser
"Cool, polished, firm and very fine aroma of black and red berries with tobacco and fleshy-animal nuances as well as a little juniper and tobacco. Tart, firm and again quite cool in the mouth, fine juicy fruit with nutty, juniper and herbaceous tones, noticeable acid bite and youthful, yet fine tannin, persistent and dense on the palate, yet slender, good depth, restrained, somewhat cedary wood spice, a little tomato paste, iron and blood, plenty of salt, very good, firm, tart, gripping finish. The absolute opposite of a heavyweight and yet dense, complex and deep - that is an art in itself." Wein-Plus
"Aromas of earth, leather, chocolate and licorice, very spicy and smoky. The attack is soft, with ripe, velvety, almost silky tannins that are chewier on the refreshing, medium-bodied finish." James Suckling

"Made with Carmenère, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, the Alois Lageder 2019 Alto Adige Löwengang Uvaggio Storico shows dark fruit with a healthy dusting of white pepper and exotic spice. This is a full–bodied red with rich concentration and dark fruit followed by dried mint. With 3,500 bottles released, this is a selection of the best fruit from Tenuta Löwengang in Magrè." Intoxicating flavours of yellow fruits, pineapple, nutmeg and the faint memory of clove. An almost magical, bright sweetness on the palate, very complex and long. A great and extremely exciting Gewürztraminer from the registered single vineyard Vigna Kolbenhof. SUPERIORE.DE
"This fragrant version shows notes of rose petals and chai tea spices and is nicely cut by a strong acidity. It offers a broad mix of pink grapefruit granita, candied papaya, honeycomb and grated ginger, underscored by a hint of smoky minerality on the long, savoury finish." Wine Spectator
"The 2021 Gewurztraminer Vigna Kolbenhof blossoms with a rich blend of wildflowers, peaches and wet stone. This opens with a lovely inner sweetness perfectly contrasted by brilliant acidity as perfumed white pit fruits and minty herbal tones swirl throughout. The 2021 leaves the palate completely refreshed, leaving a salty flourish and hints of tropical citrus. It’s stunning today, yet it has the balance for a long evolution." Vinous

“Vigna Rachtl” Sauvignon Bianco Riserva Alto Adige DOC 2021
Sauvignon Bianco Rachtl comes from a small micro-location of just 0.4 hectares. It gets its fine flint and graphite nose from the porphyry soils near Unteraicha in the municipality of Völs. Very subtle on the palate with fine saline acidity, fresh fruit and a long-lasting finish. If you can call one of the 2,000 bottles of this vintage your own, you can count yourself lucky! SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright, pale straw yellow with a silver sheen. Intense and clear nose with notes of basil, lemon balm, green asparagus and some flint. Shows very good tension on the palate, emphasised salty components, green notes at the back, somewhat rough on the final." Falstaff
"Rich nose with notes of cooked lemons, sliced apples, savoury herbs and flowers. Medium-bodied with a creamy texture. Smooth and juicy with lively acidity. A well-made, multi-layered and complex Sauvignon Blanc." James Suckling
"A lovely, well-knit white wine, creamy but lively with vibrant acidity and a racy saline flavour, offering aromas of baked white peach, grapefruit zest, wild strawberry and fresh tarragon that spread out and linger on the long, supple finish." Wine Spectator
"Full of flavours of white peach and floral notes that pour over the juicy acidity of lemon peel and the glossy, silky texture. Wonderfully elegant and very long." Decanter

Pinot Noir, which originates from France, has been cultivated in South Tyrol since 1850. The best sites, low yields, meticulous care and perfectionism in the cellar guarantee a fine, extremely sensual Pinot Noir with considerable ageing potential. Brilliant ruby-garnet colour. Delicious aromas of small berries, violets, cloves, smoke and vanilla. With age, the aroma gains interesting notes of porcini mushrooms and truffles. In the glass, the well-structured Pinot Nero Sanct Valentin shines with finesse, balance, spicy smoothness, fine tannins and a subtly integrated woody note. Pure seduction! SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright, medium ruby red colour. Distinctive bouquet, with aromas of ripe cherry, some blackberry and a hint of dark chocolate. Polished on the palate, elegant tannins and precise fruit, right through to the lingering finish." Falstaff
"Showing bright lift and aromatics, the 2020 Pinot Noir Riserva Sanct Valentin shows good tension and energy despite the considerable heat of this growing season. This pretty wine offers candied cherry fruit, apricot, blue flower and orange peel. Pinot Noir grows in soils made from glacier till with gravel and limestone. These conditions reinforce the wine's freshness." Wine Advocate
"A very attractive and aromatic Pinot with notes of fresh cherries, raspberries, dried summer herbs, liquorice and crushed stones. Medium-bodied, round and structured on the palate with firm tannins. Juicy and crisp fruit with a hint of bitter orange on the finish. Bright and concentrated." James Suckling

“Vorberg” Weißburgunder Riserva Alto Adige Terlano DOC 2021 · MAGNUM
The rare Riserva Vorberg from Pinot Bianco is open, elegant and expressive. Brilliant straw yellow in colour with light green tones. Generous bouquet with delicately nuanced flavours of peach, apricot and spices. Cool, deep and with all the advantages of the grape variety on the palate. A noble Pinot Blanc with plenty of persistence and potential. SUPERIORE.DE
"Bright straw yellow, sparkling. Roasted hazelnuts and pine nuts on the nose, with fine resinous tones, then yellow fruit with hints of pear and sage on the finish. Hearty, pure, taut on the palate with racy acidity and well-integrated fruit, medium-bodied, round and fine on the finish." Falstaff
"Initially dominated by floral scents, camomile, jasmine, peach blossom. Then also quince, pear, candied pineapple, tart grapefruit. A melting palate, now clear fruit, juicy, spicy foundation, a little salty. Vertical style, focused in the centre of the mouth." Vinous
"An elegant, fine white wine with dense flavours of yellow plum, melon rind, chamomile and lemon wax. With a slightly chalky texture and mouth-watering acidity, it is long and supple, with grapefruit peel, ground pink pepper and mineral notes on the finish." Wine Spectator
"Restrained, with notes of white flowers and peach flavours, then to a palate of restrained oak, ripe melon and peach." Decanter
"The 2021 Pinot Bianco Riserva Vorberg is youthfully upright, with an airy mix of wild herbs and dried flowers that fade into young peaches and apricots. The palate is seamlessly silky and serene, almost oily, with a lively acidity to balance and a depth of ripe fruit and mineral tones to satiate. The balance is perfect, lightly tannic and full of tension with a lemony concentration that puckers the cheeks as minty herbal notes fade. Green apple notes add a crisp sensation towards the end. This fantastic interpretation of the Vorberg will thrive in a cool cellar." Vinous
"Vorberg is one of the world's great Pinot Blancs and opens with a fragrant aroma of ripe pear, green apple and a hint of almond. On the palate, it is lively with an interplay of citrus and stone fruit, carried by a refreshing acidity. The wine culminates in a structured finish that covers the whole range of cuisine." Wine Enthusiast
"Restrained apricot skins, fairly neutral yet stylish, but with a floral bouquet that opens up. The attack is full and impressively vibrant, almost electric, with filigree elegance and a silky, weighted palate. Long and polished. This is incredible. Drink now or cellar for more complexity." James Suckling
