Lagrein Perl opens like a fresh glass of blackberry jam. Sweet violets, confectioner's spice, musk berries and an enriching note of brown sugar create a deeply seductive bouquet. It is remarkably juicy and fresh, showing its ripe dark fruits while combining zesty acids and minerals for an energetic expression. The evening fall winds of the Mendel Mountains characterise the entire terroir of the St. Michael-Eppan winery. Fallwind Riesling is an extremely elegant wine. Germany's favourite grape has found the ideal terroir in parts of South Tyrol. "From the Lageder family’s 8ha Römigberg estate above Lake Caldaro, where pergola-trained Schiava grapes are farmed biodynamically. The fruit is fermented partly in large wooden barrels, partly in stainless steel, and with some extended skin contact. A pale bright garnet colour, the nose is rosy and smoky with notes of pomegranate and cranberry over intense, spicy notes of cinnamon and clove. It has a juicy, ripe and supple palate yet with underlying firmness and good balance with lovely acidity, finishing with notes of plum and woodsmoke. Delicious." Decanter

The vineyards of the comrades are located in Siebeneich and Bozen at 300 metres above sea level and offer ideal conditions for this beautiful Merlot to thrive.

Dark ruby to garnet red. Exuberant aroma of blackberries and wild berries, complemented by a refined spice component. The palate is elegant, finely fruity, almost polished. This Merlot is not at all plump like so many representatives of this grape variety - it is medium-bodied, finely accentuated and leads with fine-pored tannin into a respectable finish. SUPERIORE.DE

The warm sites around Tramin give this pretty Traminer aromatico substance, breadth and a certain sweetness, while the cool and higher sites in the Eisack Valley give it freshness, finesse and a fine aromatic structure.
