Since the 2020 vintage, Haberle has been called Versalto and is certified organic. Diversity as a focus: Versalto is characterised by geological, microclimatic and cultural contrasts. Its grapes come from the Haberlehof farm in Buchholz on the eastern side of the Adige Valley and from the opposite vineyards in Penon above Margreid. Both vineyards are situated at an altitude of around 500 metres and guarantee optimal conditions for the variety.

The Lageder family now only makes one Sauvignon Bianco, and it belongs to the "Compositions" line. It gets its complexity from the wide variety of different clones in the vineyards. The majority of these are situated at an altitude of over 400 metres and are based on limestone soil on the one hand and volcanic weathered rock on the other. The different source rocks and the variety of vines led the Lageders to name the wine. This is because it consists of fragments from the best organic and biodynamic vineyards, which are married to form a whole. Its salinity and crisp freshness are highly drinkable and make this fresh and sublime South Tyrolean Sauvignon Blanc a very special experience. SUPERIORE.DE

Eppan-Berg-Schulthaus at the foot of the Gantkofel is probably the most historic Pinot Blanc vineyard in Eppan. The grapes for the Riserva come from the oldest plots, are matured in large wooden barrels and produce a mineral, structured Pinot Blanc with great ageing potential. SUPERIORE.DE

"Fallwind" is the new name for the Pinot Nero Riserva with a feminine aroma of sweet fruit, flowers, minerals and spices. Slender and delicate on the palate, with great balance. Pinot Noir is a diva with high demands on soil and climate and requires a lot of attention in the cellar. For Riserva quality, the vine must also be at least ten years old and thrive in an excellent location. Pinot Bianco Praesulis is remarkably pretty. Bright silver with straw yellow colour. Peach, fine nuances of red berries and sweet sage on the nose. On the palate, juicy, racy, savoury, with a great pull and precise flow, plus a mix of candied lime and salty minerals that cut through its silky textures. The finish is long and remarkably fresh, with a salty note balanced by a hint of candied citrus. Already showing beautifully today, it has balance with a long and steady evolution. SUPERIORE.DE

Fórra, an elegant small-batch white wine, is made purely from Manzoni Bianco and has an interesting history and an exciting development. Lageder's project with this grape variety began several years ago and resulted in the crossing of Rhine Riesling and Pinot Bianco. Traditional methods were used in the cellar to ensure freshness and vibrancy. Contact with the skins over several days sharpens the profile of the wine. After spontaneous fermentation, Fórra remains on its lees in wooden barrels for several months. The name "Mimuèt" (to my taste) comes from Ladin. Convinced that South Tyrol offers the best conditions for the Pinot Noir grape variety, Alois Lageder paid particular attention to it at a very early stage. His goal is to produce wines with precision, lightness and filigree structure. Garnet red with ruby reflexes. Pinot Noir Mimuèt smells of ripe black cherries, flowers and spices.
