“Versalto” Pinot Bianco Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2022 (BIO)
Since the 2020 vintage, Haberle has been called Versalto and is certified organic. Diversity as a focus: Versalto is characterised by geological, microclimatic and cultural contrasts. Its grapes come from the Haberlehof farm in Buchholz on the eastern side of the Adige Valley and from the opposite vineyards in Penon above Margreid. Both vineyards are located at an altitude of around 500 metres and guarantee optimal conditions for the variety.
Bright light yellow colour. Fine, distinctly fruity apple and peach bouquet with a very subtle hint of wood. Clean, elegant flavour, balanced structure and harmonious finish. SUPERIORE.DE

“Fragment” Sauvignon Bianco Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2023 (BIO)
The Lageder family now only makes one Sauvignon Bianco, and it belongs to the "Compositions" line. It gets its complexity from the wide variety of different clones in the vineyards. The majority of these lie at an altitude of over 400 metres and are based on limestone soil on the one hand and volcanic weathered rock on the other. The different source rocks and the variety of vines gave the Lageders the name of the wine. This is because it consists of fragments from the best organic and biodynamic vineyards, which are married to form a whole. “Fórra” Manzoni Bianco Dolomiti IGT 2022 (BIO)
Fórra, an elegant small-batch white wine, is made purely from Manzoni Bianco and has an interesting history and an exciting development. Lageder's project with this grape variety began several years ago and resulted in the crossing of Rhine Riesling and Pinot Bianco. Traditional methods were used in the cellar to ensure freshness and vibrancy. Contact with the skins over several days sharpens the profile of the wine. After spontaneous fermentation, Fórra remains on its lees in wooden barrels for several months. The name "Mimuèt" (to my taste) comes from Ladin. Surmont is the successor to Rain Riesling. As in the past, some of the grapes come from the South Tyrolean lowlands, while the other part now comes from the Isarco Valley from high and cool locations on soils of volcanic origin, which give the wine a fresher, almost alpine style. Tannat thrives excellently under warm temperatures and retains a lively acidity. Already planted 30 years ago by Alois Lageder, it is still a puzzle, experiment and challenge at the same time for the winery. Clemens Lageder told us: "We were in for a surprise when processing the grapes from this Porer component. When the grapes were tipped, a significant proportion of botrytis berries was found in many of the grapes. The wine was nevertheless bottled. As the wine matured, we got to know and appreciate it more and more. This is how our understanding developed: From initial rejection and uncertainty to appreciation of the influence of noble rot on Pinot Gris. The Vernatsch variety is part of South Tyrol's culture and an important component of the country's red wine varieties. The grape variety is often hastily dismissed as too simple and often gets little time in the cellar. This Vernatsch has had time to develop. NATSCH4 is a vintage blend of the four vintages 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. The grapes of the wines come from the oldest parcel of the famous Vernatsch site RÖMIGBERG. The four wines are vinified on the skins and whole clusters for different lengths of time. SUPERIORE.DE
"The NV Natsch4 (a blend of four vintages of Schiava) bursts from the glass with an intense mix of crushed raspberries and black cherries complemented by autumnal spices and shaved cedar. This is zesty in nature, with tart wild berry fruits offset by stimulating acidity and sour citrus. It tapers off a bit shorter than anticipated yet leaves the mouth watering for more, as a bitter yet subtle twang of nectarine punctuates the finale. “MCMLVII” Merlot Vigneti delle Dolomiti DOC 2019 (BIO)
At the southern foot of the Margreider Schuttkegel, a vineyard with the dialect name "Punggl" spreads out, which has been known and sought after for winegrowing since time immemorial. In the mid-1950s, the former owners of Ansitz Hirschprunn had planted a vineyard there with Merlot, as it had already produced very good results in the decades before. In 1995, the grapes from this vineyard proved to be of such first-class quality that they inspired Luis von Dellemann, the Oenologistin charge at the time, to vinify these grapes as a single-vineyard wine – this strictly selected grape material has formed the basis for the MCM since then and only in the best years.

“MCMLVII” Merlot Vigneti delle Dolomiti DOC 2020 (BIO)
At the southern foot of the Margreid Schuttkegel, a vineyard with the dialect name "Punggl" spreads out, which has been known and sought after for winegrowing since time immemorial. In the mid-1950s, the former owners of Ansitz Hirschprunn had planted a vineyard there with Merlot, as it had already produced very good results in the decades before. In 1995, the grapes from this vineyard proved to be of such first-class quality that they inspired Luis von Dellemann, the Oenologistin charge at the time, to vinify these grapes as a single-varietal wine - this strictly selected grape material has formed the basis for the MCM since then and only in the best years.

“Löwengang Historischer gemischter Satz” Rosso Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2019 (BIO)
The vineyards of the Löwengang estate in Margreid have been owned by the Lageder family since 1934. Here, on the rubble cone of ancient dolomite rock below steep cliffs, grape varieties such as Carménère and Cabernet find optimal conditions in the mild climate of the valley.
Löwengang underlines the unique DNA of the grapes from which this wine is made. Parts of the vineyard are around 145 years old and the vines are among the oldest vineyards in South Tyrol. Count Melchiori, the former owner, planted the plots in Margreid with Cabernet around 1875. At least that's what he thought - because a large part of the vines planted at that time were actually –vines. Through intensive study of the vineyard and extensive genetic analyses, the Alois Lageder winery discovered that the vineyard was actually a mixed set of Carménère, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. In order to emphasise the special origin of the grapes, the wine will be offered as "Löwengang Historischer gemischter Satz" from vintage 2018.
Complex, concentrated bouquet with fruity hints of cherries and blackcurrants, spicy aromas of tobacco, floral notes of violets and mint and a very elegant woody tone.
