    In the deep limestone gravel soils around Margreid in the south of South Tyrol, very old vines take root in a very warm environment. The many hours of sunshine combined with the afternoon onset of the Lake Garda Ora wind create the best conditions for growing Cabernet grapes in particular, which ripen late.
