    The grapes for this exquisite cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, as well as smaller portions of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, grow on sandy soils facing south and southwest in locations between 250 and 500 metres above sea level in a microclimatically very warm area.

    "Istante presents itself with dark garnet red and fruity aromas with dried black berries, plums, figs and dates, some green tea and wood bark tones that accompany it during its long life and underline the consistency of this wine. On the palate, the wine is not a muscleman. Rather, it convinces with its multi-layered, juicy structure, with elegance and finesse as well as with complex, compact tannins and a long finish."
