Alessandro Masnaghetti is a veteran of the Italian wine industry. The journalist has worked for renowned publications such as Guido Vini d'Italia L'Espresso and the renowned wine guide by Luigi Veronelli. Along the way, he published numerous articles and tasting reports, e.g. in the New York Times and the Revue du Vin de France.

For some years now, Alessandro has been publishing, in close cooperation with the land registry offices and consortia of the most famous wine-growing regions, what is probably to this day a unique complete cartographic work of the most important wine regions in Italy, which continues to bring new insights even to the most well-travelled, well-read and wine-savvy Italian connoisseur. The vineyards are 15 metres above sea level on a westerly exposure on river sediment soils with a sandy texture. The coastal sun shines through in the straw-yellow nuances of this wine. On the fresh bouquet, notes of lemon, freshly cut green apples, along with hints of mint and sage; these Mediterranean impressions are also found on the palate. A rosé made from Sangiovese according to the classic Pet-Nat method, harvested in the last half of August and whose carbonic acid is created unplanned by the almost complete fermentation of the sugar in the bottle. A sparkling wine with a yeast deposit that has played its way into the hearts of "natural wine" fans in a fresh and unconventional way. Ideal for aperitifs and light summer dishes. Independent, full of character and radiant - an almost exotic white wine from the noble Bolgheri DOC appellation. Scalabrone presents itself generously every year, but also incredibly fresh. It shows ripe strawberries with a hint of sweet cream, tropical kiwi and lime. It washes over the palate with lightness, carrying ripe red fruit, a hint of melon and a savoury minerality. The finish is long and flanked by lively acidity and salty minerals. Occhione is a racy, fresh cuvée made from 90% Vermentino and 10% Viognier. Bright light yellow in colour with greenish reflections. Fine notes of peach, mango and grapefruit on the nose, medium-bodied on the palate with floral, fruity notes and well-balanced acidity. This delicate, luxury Tuscan rosato has a pale pink colour with light amber reflections. The wine smells of sweet fruits such as wild raspberries and fragolina di bosco, followed by bitter almond and dried sage.
