    Brilliant dark ruby colour, intense and inviting nose with a pronounced aroma of dark fruit, especially blackberry, followed by some liquorice. Firm and gripping on the palate with taut tannins, the Cavaliere shows its animating (Sangiovese) character over the course of the wine and maintains good pressure until the long final. SUPERIORE.DE

Crushed red berry fruit, spice, mint, orange peel and a touch of whole-cluster savoriness from the 30% stems all meld together. Aging in cement further enhances freshness and vitality.
