The palate heads for a cleft where the tertiary aromas and flavours make an appearance, although they are held back by the primary vibrant blackberry fruit and a touch of Sassicaia freshness with a hint of liquorice root. After a while in the glass, the nose begins to open up. Underbrush notes are the most obvious, followed by black truffles. This wine opens slowly and needs time and patience.
